We had a wonderful break from the holiday chaos in Leucadia. The house was perfect for our adults kids and us to be together. The view from this house is beautiful. We enjoyed our walks on the beach and the easy walk to so many restaurants and coffee shops. We will be back!!!

This property has an incredible location. The views of the ocean with surfers riding the waves right in front of you were amazing. Neighborhood was really quiet so could see us staying in the house again.

Perfect location

This house is in such perfect spot with amazing views and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It also has the most well-outfitted kitchen of any vacation rental that I have been in. We will be back.

Beach access closest to the house as advertised was closed due to landslide conditions. The other access points were quite a hike. Other than that, the house itself and location was absolutely great.

Breath taking views

We will now only come and stay at this property for future trips to Encinitas.. The house was amazing but the views of the ocean and nightly sunsets were priceless. We usually go out to eat but for the whole week we ate in so we could enjoy the view, the beautiful weather, and sounds of the ocean. The owner and property manager were so easy to communicate with. Best find and wish we could stay longer.

The home was very spacious and accommodating to the 7 of us. Chris was excellent, anytime we had a question she was amazing in getting back to us. There was plenty of seat for dining as well as relaxing by the fireplace.

Great place to enjoy the Pacific and San Diego

This is a great property to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee overlooking the ocean or to relax in the hot tub while watching the moon set. The location is outstanding. Beside the fact the house is on a bluff overlooking the Pacific, the North County location is close enough to enjoy all of San Diego without all the traffic and hustle-and-bustle of a typical oceanfront house. The house has character and isn't pretentious. My family of 6 loved it. We played cards at the table while watching movies and/or bowl games on TV in the family room. My family was caught up in the Southwest Meltdown in 2022. Chris was understanding, gracious and hospitable despite the ups-and-downs of our journey to get to the house. We will definitely return.

Great view and roomy

We used this beach/bluff front property for a reunion of 8 college buddies. The 3 bedrooms were roomy enough and had enough beds to accommodate us all without feeling cramped. The property is "well worn" and the price was fair and we understand some improvements will be made but everything worked and was fine for our needs.

Ladies Surf Trip

The house had everything needed for a great girls' weekend. There was plenty of room to hang out, chat, watch TV, and play games. The kitchen was amply stocked and easy to cook in. More importantly, the view was world-class, and the hot tub was the icing on the cake after a surf session! Highly recommend!

Surf Trip

Just returned from a 3 day stay at this property. The location of this home was perfect for us as 4 of the 6 guests in our group went surfing and the trail to the beach is just a few houses down. The house offers great views, is clean, plenty of kitchen supplies, and the beds were comfortable. My daughter and husband and 2 other guests enjoyed the hot tub after surfing. Each bedroom has a bathroom and that was nice. The property needs some TLC, a face lift. Some things needed addressing and the property manager was informed so that the next group coming in should not have the same issues we had. Overall, we had a very nice time and enjoyed our visit.

Great Views

The back deck had a beautiful view of the ocean and the access to the beach was nearby. We used the beach toys, chairs, umbrella, and boogie board, which was very nice to have. There was plenty of beds for our five adults and two kids. The pictures of the house are accurate - not fancy, but comfortable. We happen to go during a Heat Advisory, so the living area was quite warm, but we ate out on the deck almost every meal. The bedrooms had portable air conditioners that were used to cool the bedrooms each night.

I fell in love with North Coast San Diego, especially between Del Mar, Carlsbad, Oceanside. I originally moved to San Diego from Orange County, CA where I worked in the hotel industry for some years. Eventually, I started booking not only my property, but found other owners here that wanted some help. The business took off, started in the year 2000! We originally bought this property as an investment and rented it out long term, but found that the vacation rental business was better and easier to care for the property as well as to have use of it ourselves. This location is incredible, so central to San Diego and Orange County- and an easy drive to Los Angeles when the occasion is required. You can get to so many places in a reasonable amount of time from the beautiful North Coast of San Diego.

The floorplan of this house is amazing for families to get together and has 50 linear feet over the oceanfront for the most amazing views all day and night- the evening sunsets are fabulous! It is so relaxing to be able to kick your shoes off, pour yourself a glass of wine or fresh ice tea, make yourself some lunch (or order locally), and watch everything happening from the convenience of your private patio. Lines of pelicans fly overhead or dive into the surf before you. Watch for the dolphins in the waves along side the surfers! No need to go out to brunch in an oceanfront restaurant when you are sitting front row over the waves, you are already there! Safe and secure, very private, and anywhere you want to go, it is probably found within 2 minutes to an hour. We take our fur baby Ace for walks along the one-way neighborhood street of Neptune into Encinitas, or just a block over to Coast Highway where we find great dining at the local restaurants. Or, we might just have our dinner oceanfront with the gentle breezes! The dining table and slate patio table are large for family and guests, and if it is cool outside, we 'dine in' watching and listening to the waves! A huge fireplace for cozy nights too! We love it, and so do all of our many guests. For those who like to cook, the kitchen has everything for your use, stainless appliances, a double electric oven, and large gas range. For beach goers, supplies are provided; boogie boards, umbrella, a few wetsuits, beach chairs etc. For grilling on the BBQ, relax and sit looking over the oceanfront while you grill your favorite family dinners, it's wonderful!!!
