This luxury apartment has been recently refurbished in a way that preserved the historical features of the house it belongs to, CasaNeve, but also adding modern comfort and style. The restored antique wood floor and restored exposed wood work makes the environment very elegant and welcoming. Apartment Valentina sleeps up to 8 people while CasaNeve has a capacity of 26 people.

WE HAVE 3 APARTMENTS IN THE HOUSE.

Centrally located in the ski and spa town of Bad Gastein and only one hour south of Salzburg, CasaNeve is an old historic house completely modernised and refurbished in 2012. The house offers 3 self contained luxury large apartments which can also be rented individually for both your winter and summer holidays, and it can accommodate up to 25 people. This spacious house has retained its classic Belle Epoque style but the apartments also offer all the comforts that both families and young professionals need when on holidays. Each apartment has a very well equipped kitchen, and all the comforts you will need during your holidays such as for instance 40' Smart LED TV, bean to cup Bosch coffee machine, DVD player, free wireless internet, Bluetooth adapter to stream your own movies and music to the TV, plenty of sitting and dining space.

The house has its own ski and heated ski boots storage facility, however we are approximately 300 mt from the foot bridge that takes you the main ski lift which has a very handy ski/boot storage facility in case you did not want to bring your skis back and forward from the house.

We are positioned just above the old center of the town, and in-between the main ski lift and the center. Hence you could always walk 100 mt down a foot path and catch the ski bus from the old center, in case you did not want to rent a car or walk to the ski lift. From the ski lift walking back to the house is about 5 minutes; no need for any ski bus.

Around the house you have a choice of bars, hotels, restaurants, all within a 50 mt radius. One of the best restaurants in town is just below our house.

The highest mountain in Bad Gastein skiing area is Sportgastein, around 2700 mt high, and overall the Gastein area offers 220 Km of skiing for all levels. Bad Gastein is also in between 2 glaciers. Kaprum and the Molltal Glaciers are both above 3000 mt high and can be reached by car in around 45 minutes.

Bad Gastein can be reached by car, from Salzburg 1 hour and 15 minutes and from Munich 2 and half hours. However CasaNeve is 300 mt from the train station of Bad Gastein so you could always take a 1 hour direct train from Salzburg.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Bad Gastein

We loved our stay at CasaNeve. The apartment was clean, spacious and beautiful. The house itself is an old villa, containing three units in total. Supermarket and ski lifts are within walking distance. The owner and caretaker both were extremely friendly and the check-in worked out perfectly.

Schönes Appartement mit kleinen Makeln

Der Gesamteindruck des Apartments war gut! Leider hatten wir vor Ort nicht ausreichend Bettwäsche und Handtücher, die uns aber nach einigen Diskussionen nachgebracht worden sind. Die Spülungen und Abflüsse waren leider sehr unzuverlässig, was aber nicht sonderlich gestört hat. Das Licht im Wohnzimmer ging leider auch nicht. Insgesamt waren wir aber sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und können diese weiterempfehlen.

Absolutely recommendable!

The flat from Michael is set up relly lovely and what I personally would like to mention, the kitchen is actually really nice equipped! The general contact to Michael as well es to the local managers of the house was very nice, too. All this facts made him a 5* rating, even the parking situation is a bit tricky. Doesn't meet expectations and has hidden costs

The apartment is not too far from the lift and very close to the main apres ski (Silver bullet). However it is all very steep uphill to get to both. The most annoying thing however is that when you arrive they demand a very LARGE amount in CASH upon arrival. They won't let you use a card. Roughly half as a deposit (which isn't completely unreasonable) and half for cleaning - (the Homeway review guidelines will not let me disclose the amounts)! And that cleaning doesn't even include taking the rubbish out (if you don't they claim you lose your deposit). Otherwise the apartment is ok - although it's more run down than the pictures show (the pictures seem all to be from the top most apartment and not the actual apartment though). There are 3 bedrooms: 1 with a double bed and a bunk bed, 1 with a double bed and another one downstairs with a double bed. There are also 2 sofa's which seem to fold out in the living area. Everything is upstairs - downstairs is just a bedroom and a bathroom. The coffee machine did not work and one of the ceiling lights didn't work in the big bedroom. Also - the Wifi is either not working properly or set up so you lose your IP lease every 10 minutes or so (I.e. you lose connection every 10 minutes). The apartment is clean however and the bathrooms are nice. There are 2 bathrooms with showers. Bad Gastein in general isn't your typical Ski resort village - I.e. it isn't as cosy as many of them. The Silver Bullet is the main (and best) Apres Ski. Many of the smaller ones seems to be mostly for seasonal workers. I'll give this apartment 2 stars - mainly due to the annoying cash demand and expensive cleaning cost but also due to it not meeting our expectations. The caption of this apartment reads: "... Beautiful Luxury & Exclusive Ski Apartments.." which it isn't.

Wunderschöne Wohnung mitten im Ort

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und geräumig. Die Ausstattung ist prima - Geschirrhandtücher sollte man aber selber mitbringen. Der Weg zum Bahnhof / Lift ist sehr steil - aber dafür nur 300-400m lang. Wer unbedingt fernsehen muss, sollte eine HD-Karte mitbringen, die dortige war abgelaufen und daher nur wenige Programme verfügbar. WLAN läuft gut - streamen geht. Fehlt etwas, bekommt man schnelle und unkomplizierte Hilfe von Thomas (lokaler Betreuer).

Ein sehr schön gelegenes Appartement in Top Lage. Gerade auch zur Gondelbahn.

Die Einrichtung war leider sehr spartanisch. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sowie die Bäder waren ok. Für mehr als 4 Personen war das Appartement vom Mobilar her ungeeignet. Unsere beiden Neffen (19 + 21 Jahre alt) könnten auf dem Schlafsofa gar nicht schlafen und haben sich deshalb auf den Boden gelegt. In den Bädern und Räumen gab es viel zu wenig Kleiderhaken um in dem wirklich sehr schönen Wohnbereich gar keine Regale oder Schränke. Wenn die Einrichtung besser gewesen wäre, hätte ich gern 5 Sterne vergeben. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr schwierig herzustellen, wobei er sehr nett und sehr bemüht war.

Great and convenient stay at Casaneve

First of all, our caretaker helped us out a lot. He was really helpful when we arrived, and also assisted us throughout the week. This was a great courtesy. The apartment was really nice, clean, open, and cozy. We had everything we needed. We were 8 people there, and everyone was able to sit around in the table for dinner, which was really great. There was a 5-10 minute uphill walk to the lift. Great warmup nonetheless :-) I would definetely recommend Casaneve to anyone going for skiing in Bad Gastein.

Excellent accommodation

Arriving at the CasaNeve was really a wow sensation, and with another wow it would have been 5 stars. I don't think you can arrange for better accommodation in Bad Gastein, unless perhaps you choose to stay at one of the best hotels available and pay a lot more, if you are 4-6 people. You won't miss anything and the standard is really excellent. CasaNeve is an old charming house right in the centre of Bad Gastein and close to just about everything. Lots of restaurants within a couple of minutes walk, and shops, a thermal bath (Felsentherme) and the Stubnerkogelbahn within a few more. As the walk to Stubnerkogelbahn is uphill, I recommend you to use the ski depot right next to the bottom station. The charge for both skis and boots are around 20 Euros per person for a weeks stay, and it's definitely worth every penny not having to carry them to and from the apartment. If you travel by car, as we did, you won't have to use it at all during your stay. Just park it in the nearby garage, or even on the street just a bit uphill from CasaNeve. Be prepared to carry your luggage a few meters when you arrive, but then you're all good and can a relaxing and/or active stay in Bad Gastein :)

Very nice appartment in Bad Gastein

We rented the apartment in April one River view close spacious and lovely apartment in 2 levels the ground floor hallway large living room with both lounge section and a combined kitchen and dining room - and in the basement which is a semi-basement there are 2 lovely spacious and bright bedrooms and a nicely WC and bathroom - The apartment is very funtionel and well appointed and we had a fantastic Christmas in these surroundings

Lækker feriebolig i Bad Gastein

Casaneve ligger tæt på markedet i Bad Gastein, hvilket vi nød hen over julen, hvor der var rig aktivitet. Huset ligger tæt på de gode afterskisteder og i kort afstand til skiliftene. Lejligheden Valencia er flot indrettet og der mangler bestemt intet. Alt er vedligeholdt og vi blev godt modtaget og de mindste problemer løst omgående. Vi kan varmt anbefale lejligheden. Et stort plus er de to badeværelser. Et lille minus er skråvægene, som man skal huske at navigere efter, men modsat også charmerende.

Eine Wohlfühl-Wohnung in Bad Gastein

Wir verbrachten Anfang Oktober 2013 zwei Wochen in der Wohnung "Valentina" in Michele Bo' s Casa Neve und fühlten uns rundum wohl. Wenn wir im Abstand von einigen Wochen immer noch mit großer Freude an unseren Urlaub in Bad Gastein zurückdenken, dann ist dies auch der schönen Unterkunft zuzuschreiben. Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal; Restaurants gibt es in Sichtweite. Die Dorfbäckerei befindet sich gleich um die Ecke. 5 Minuten sind es zum Bus (und zum Wasserfall) und gute 10 zum Bahnhof. Dass es dabei immer rauf oder runter geht - wie generell in Bad Gastein -, nimmt man als Wanderer gerne in Kauf. Das Haus und die Wohnungen strahlen eine besondere Atmosphäre aus; speziell im Falle "Valentina" ergibt sich ein besonderes Wohlgefühl durch den offenen Dachstuhl und die vielen Fenster. Die Wohnung hat auch, was nicht in der Beschreibung erwähnt ist, zwei kleine Balkone inmitten einer interessanten Dachlandschaft. Die Eigentümer haben es verstanden, das historische Gebäude und die Wohnungen liebevoll und stilvoll zu renovieren - die Verbindung von ursprünglichen Bauelementen mit moderner Ausstattung und ist unserer Einschätzung nach außerordentlich gut gelungen. Die Qualität der Ausstattung ist durchweg hoch; man hat, auch bei der Auswahl der verwendeten Materialien, viel Geschmack bewiesen. Was zunächst ein wenig irritierte: Eines der beiden Schlafzimmer hat keinen "richtigen" Kleiderschrank, sondern nur einen halbhohen Schrank mit Schubfächern, was der Dachschräge geschuldet ist. Ein Problem war das für uns allerdings nicht, zumal im Vorraum einige Kleiderhaken installiert sind. Hilfreich wäre für Neuankömmlinge ein kleiner Grundbestand an Zucker, Salz, Gewürzen und dergleichen - aber das findet man in anderen Ferienwohnungen auch nur selten und wäre für den im Ausland wohnenden Eigentürmer auch nur schwer darzustellen. Mr. Del Bo nebst Gattin haben wir nicht persönlich kennengelernt - aber wir finden ihn schon allein von der Korrespondenz her sehr sympathisch und völlig unkompliziert. Cosy and comfortable apartment in the heart of Bad

We enjoyed our holiday at CasaNeve for one week with 5 friends. This was an absolutely fabulous apartment in the centre of Bad Gastein. Everything we needed was there in this cosy and comfortable apartment. In a nice old style building, the apartment had a modern decor, completely equipped kitchen including a washing machine and a coffee maker and is located on a walking distance to the main gondola and shops. The owner and the keyholder were very kind and extremely helpful. Highly recommended apartment, and would definitely stay there again!

Location and charm in a perfect combination.

Casaneve looks and feels exactly as the photos are showing. Cosy and spacious with a great location close to restaurant and the bars. Perfect for couples since the apartment has 2 separate bathrooms. It’s possible to walk to the slopes even though it’s a tough uphill , we did it with full skiing equipment as our daily exercise routine but if you don’t feel as fit you could always walk 5-7 minutes to the bus that takes you directly to the slopes. We had a 7 months old with us and Michele fixed a baby crib for her without problem. The key holder Anna was also amazingly helpful. Would definitely stay at Casaneve if we come back to Bad Gastein.

Beautiful spacious apartment, great spot

We always stay in apartments or chalets when going skiing, and this is one of the best. It has obviously just recently been renovated and to a very high standard. It's really comfortable and spacious inside. It has that perfect mix of being central to everything, but lovely and quiet at night. It was a great place to come back to after a long days skiing to relax. I would recommend the bakery just down the road for a daily fresh breakfast. Other good bits are parking was very convenient, getting to the main gondola was a doddle, building had it's own ski room with boot heaters (a must nowadays), kitchen had a great coffee machine and was really well kitted out. Also wifi as standard (another must). We arrived by train from the airport as the manager told us the station was close by, and that was really convenient and saved us having to rent a car. Bad Gastein is a really nice town and the thermal spas are definitely worth a visit, especially the outdoor heated pool in freezing weather, a real novelty. Food and restaurants are good in town and on the mountain. Finally, skiing in Bad Gastein is really good. Great mix of runs, and there is a huge run all the way to Bad Hofgastein which is great (be prepared though, it's long). Lot's of variety and options, and we had great snow.

CaseNeve - elegant and spacious

What a treat! We chose the apartment based on the photos available on the web as we were looking for a comfortable place with a central location. The apartment turned out to be even better. It's in a beautiful old building restored to the highest standards, and unlike many other places we have been to, our apartment was exceptionally spacious and stylish too. I had the feeling that the owners must be regular skiers as the apartment was well equipped for skiers including heated ski boots racks. We did the short walk to the gondola every day. It was a real plus for me as I hate getting into the car and getting out with lots of stuff on. We were also very close to the local ’thermal bad’ for an après-ski treat. We love skiing and the spa in Badgastein, and CasaNeve made our holiday a memorable one! We will definitely be coming back next year.

Perfect location - lovely apartement!

We had a lovely week in CasaNeva – including the celebration of New Year’s eve. Beautiful and cozy apartment with a wonderful view over the valley from the hall. The size of the apartment was perfect for the 4 of us – and the location even more perfect. Right in the middle of Bad Gastein – but away from all the noise. Easy to park in the parking garage, place for the skiing equipment inside the house and in walking distance to all restaurants. We celebrated New Year’s eve at Hotel Regina (5 min. walk), and I can recommend to go there for a cocktail during the weekend. (From +30 years and up.) The host and his local helper in Bag Gastein were extremely helpful – thank you so much for making it the best winter holiday in years! I can fully recommend this holiday-home – much better than a 5 star hotel ;-) Anne-Louise from Denmark

We are April and Michele, married couple with two kids living in London. We are passionate about skiing but also believe in beauty and comforts when on holidays and always found that it's difficult to find high quality accommodations for families and young professionals at affordable prices.
So when 2 years ago bought an old historic house in Bad Gastein and refurbished completely we decided to make it into 3 stylish, luxury and charming apartments, and renamed it CasaNeve. We hope you will enjoy it !

CasaNeve is a 400m2 house divided in 3 self contained apartment which you can rent as entire house or individual apartments.
The house is set in the middle to upper part of the centre of Bad Gastein.
It is surrounded by the best restaurants and bars and it is 200 mt from a public car park and 300-400 mt from train station, main gondola, supermarket, banks, etc.

Walking to the gondola is only 400 mt but some of it is uphill so we recommend considering leaving the ski equipment in the gondola depot However one can always walk from CasaNeve down 50 mt and use the ski bus.
We think parking the car in the public car park and forget about it during the stay is the most convenient way to enjoy Bad Gastein.
