There was a lot of communication and back-and-forth with the host for several weeks before our stay, so be prepared to receive lots of instructions and recommendations and suggestions. Also, be prepared for the apartment to be on the top floor of a historic building. I think it’s on the fourth or fifth floor with about seven flights of stairs. This wasn’t a problem for us, but I can imagine if you were carrying lots of luggage or had any ambulatory issues, that it would be difficult. Being so high up, made the view fabulous. It has a nice balcony with a neighbor cat that likes to lounge on it. The excellent washing machine and air conditioning was wonderful to have, as well. The bed is best suited for one person, since it is showing signs of wear, and the mattress slopes down in the center. I was staying with my grown child, and we both kept rolling to the middle of the bed. There is a pull out sofa bed, also, but we didn’t investigate enough to see if there was bedding for it since my kiddo only joined me one of the nights. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! Great place to be in Rome!
