Tolles Apartment in fantastischer Lage

Diese Wohnung war für uns der perfekte Ausgangspunkt um Porto über ein langes Wochenende zu entdecken. Zentral gelegen hat es alles was man braucht und die Aussicht über die Stadt entschädigt einen sofort für den Aufstieg zum vierten Stock.

Wie waren ganz oben, tolle Aussicht, sehr geräumig, mit Charme, reizender Empfang mit guten infos. Lage ist mittendrin. Wir fanden das toll.

Nice apartment with some basic problems

We stayed in the 4th floor apartment, which is very nice. Clean and bright. Excellent view on the river. All interesting spots in the city are in walking distance. Ideal place for a family of five. Luisa was extremely friendly and supportive. Unfortunately, I need to mention that we struggled with some basics which could not be fixed by Luisa. 1. The beds are low quality. In the large bed I could feel every spring of the mattress. Luckily the other side of the mattress was in a slightly better condition. But this needs to be replaced. Additionally, one of the smaller beds made noise with every movement. Maybe this was wrongly assembled. 2. The internet worked only partially. The low-cost assessment point refused the logging of several mobile devices. Having kids without internet was no fun. I recommend spending some money to fix the beds and the internet. Then this would be a great place to stay and I would give 5 stars.

Wohnung mit super Ausblick

Freundlicher Empfang von Luisa, die sich viel Zeit nahm, uns wertvolle Tips für Unternehmungen in und um Porto zu geben. Die Wohnung ist groß, geräumig, schön eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Großes Plus: Der Ausblick aus den Schlafzimmer-Balkontüren bei Tag und bei Nacht. Einmal pro Woche wird sogar geputzt mit Wäsche-und Handtuchwechsel. Einfache Einkaufsmöglichkeit und Restaurants ganz in der Nähe. Uns hats sehr gut gefallen dort.

Gemütliches Domizil bei zu hohem Preis

Gute Lage mit Blick über Porto (vierte Etage), bei 81 Treppenstufen. Gemütlich eingerichtete Altbauwohnung mit top sauberen Räumlichkeiten. In der Küche alles Notwendige vorhanden. Anfahrt schwierig, Parkmöglichkeiten nur bedingt vorhanden. Das nächstgelegene Parkhaus kostet am Tag 30 Euro. Gute und zutreffende Informationen vor Ort hinterlegt. Nette Vermieter. Unabhängig davon, ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht wirklich stimmig.

Wir würden wiederkommen!

Die oberste Ferienwohnung ist bei sehr viel Platz komfortabel eingerichtet. Der Ausblick über den Fluss ist fantastisch! Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, der Fluss mit seinen tollen Brücken, der Bahnhof Sao Bento, zahlreiche Läden und Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Ligia war eine sehr hilfsbereite und auskunftsfreudige Gastgeberin mit Insiderwissen zu Restaurants. Bei akuten Krankheitssorgen reagierte sie sofort mit super Krankenhaustipp und Taxibestellung.

Stilvoll und vertraut

tolles Apartement

Das Apartement ist sehr groß und hat uns (5 Personen) mehr als ausgereicht. Die Lage in der Nähe vom Clerigos und der Ribeira ist ideal - auch mit Kindern. Und Ligia, die Vermieterin, ist sehr sympathisch und hat tolle Empfehlungen genannt. Sehr gerne wieder!!

Great location and place to stay!

This place was great! Granted not having a lift and hauling your luggage was brutal, but once up there, the apartment was perfectly located, clean, and check in/out was a breeze! With this location, we were able to walk EVERYWHERE and Porto was a gem to visit! Parking proved to be a bit of a challenge as the closest two garages were closed, but that had nothing to do with the apartment itself! We would absolutely come back again!

Fantastic Experience!

We had a wonderful time in Porto and the apartment was perfectly situated for everything we wanted to experience. We walked across the river and visited some of the Port companies, there are several great restaurants and pastry shops around the building, and the views from the apartment were spectactular. Luisa went above and beyond in helping us get ready for our stay and made the whole experience fantastic. You can't go wrong choosing this as your place to stay in Porto!

Good Location and Pretty Views from Bedroom

Communication was overall good with the hosts. They were very gracious to get us into the unit early after traveling overnight from the US. They also arranged airport pickup with their driver Mr. Silva, who is so sweet. He also drove us for a day trip to Douro Valley. The views from the two bedrooms are very pretty. The living room is interior to the inner courtyard of the building. The beds overall weren't the best comfort wise, but the larger bedroom in the back of the unit was definitely the most comfortable. The bedroom closest to the entry door is interior and did not have great air flow except for a small window near the ceiling that could be slightly opened. We experienced quite a bit of cigarette smoke entering that bedroom from a neighboring unit. Overall, the unit is cute. I would recommend more toiletries like toilet paper be made available for a unit that sleeps up to 6 people. However, this seemed to be the trend for everywhere we stayed in Portugal so not specific to this unit. We did experience some issues with our stay, but stayed in communication with the hosts and were ultimately able to resolve, which we were very appreciative of.

Gem in the heart of old Porto

We loved this apartment in the heart of it all - perfect for exploring Porto. Great location - we were able to walk everywhere. Stunning views across the city and a beautiful spot to catch the sunset. The apartment has so much character and was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Only downsides - bathroom is up another level which was not convenient and it is a 4th floor walk up so you will get lots of exercise! Don’t miss The Door restaurant right around the corner - outstanding meal!

Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped apartment. Beautiful views of the river from 2 bedrooms. Nice neighborhood, close to many attractions and areas of interest. The location in the midst of the old town is what we wanted, but it is on a steep hill… like everything in Porto. The hostess Luisa was kind, helpful and available if needed. Initially, we were concerned that there was no air conditioning. However, the temperature inside the apartment was always pleasant even in mid-July when we were there. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Top Floor View with a built-in stair workout!

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Communication was fantastic, the rooms were comfortable and it was quiet neighborhood (well except for the seagulls 😏) When it says stairs and no elevator it is very accurate. It is the top unit, 4th floor, and what it doesn't say is that the one bathroom is up another set of stairs within the apartment. Also, keep in mind the city itself is very hilly. It's a great city, a great apartment and we would return.

Beautiful Porto

This property is as described and was nicely furnished. Beds were comfortable. View out of 2 of the bedroom windows was beautiful. Listing warns that it is on the 4th story but we weren’t quite prepared for how hilly Porto was - sometimes that last flight seem endless when we came home! Great location at top of town - easy to tour from. Most sensible parking is at bottom of town however. We drove from Lisbon and had a day trip to Douro Valley.

Like visiting friends

This place was truly a home away from home. Luisa and Ligia manage the details and the experience to be welcoming. They are responsive to questions and helpful every step of the way. The place is very nice and homey. The bathroom is up a flight of stairs, which is a bit odd, but the upside is you get a lot of privacy! This apartment is on the 4th floor, with 79 steps, so you will earn those Pastels de natas. The location is perfect, just steps from a gorgeous overlook spot. The neighborhood is quiet. We would stay here again next time in Porto. Luisa will become a fast friend and go above and beyond to make your experience in Porto memorable.

Beautiful apartment in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay here with our family of four (two young children). The apartment looked just like the pictures, was well equipped and clean and had so much space to relax. Luisa was the perfect host - so helpful and thoughtful. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from the apartment during our stay in Porto - we would def come back!

Lovely stay in Porto!

My family and I stayed in Porto for just under a week. This lovely apartment was perfect for us, the location was very central, many bars and restaurants and great shopping at the doorstep. The views of the river from the front balcony were wonderful. What really made the stay so special for us was the host Luisa, she was very warm, knowledgeable and accommodating. When our train was canceled due to a strike the day we were meant to leave she was very understanding and helped us to find a solution to our problems. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Luisa thank you so much! Next time we are in Porto this will be our first stop! Julia
