Dies ist eine geräumige, 800 m² große, ebenerdige begehbare Wohnung. Es liegt am Ufer des herrlichen Lake Superior und ist nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt. Sonnenschirm und Stühle, Feuerstelle und Holz, ein Bistrotisch im Freien und Weber Grill mit Holzkohle sind vorhanden. Die Wohnung verfügt über eine Effizienzküche und einen eigenen Eingang mit Ihrem persönlichen Schlüssel.

Es verfügt über einen großen Flachbild-TV, Premium-Kanäle, Billardtisch, elliptisches Fahrrad, Bad mit elektrischer Sauna und eine Küchenzeile. Es gibt ein schönes privates Queen-Size-Schlafzimmer mit hochwertigen gebügelten Laken. Darüber hinaus stehen Ihnen ein elektrischer Kamin und Highspeed-Glasfaser-WLAN zur Verfügung.

Diese Eigenschaft befindet sich 15 Minuten von Munising und den berühmten Pictured Rocks, wo Sie Wandern, Radfahren, Kajakfahren und Bildaufnahme genießen können. Grand Island hat Wanderwege, Meereshöhlen und Wasserfälle. Beide Standorte sind berühmt für ihre brillanten farbigen Sandsteinklippen. Our stay at Julie and Bob's downstairs apartment was outstanding! Perfect location, hosts and accommodations

Julie and Bob were so friendly and have thought of everything their guests could possibly want/need. Wonderful setting, view, home and host.

This is a perfect place to stay in and around AuTrain. The view from the home is beautiful along with access to the water Julie & Bob are the perfect hosts. They make your stay special with caring for your comfort and visit with many extras - breakfast for your first morning, wine and treats. The home is beautiful & meticulous and has more items than one could ever need. The bed is extremely comfortable Their attention to detail is in every aspect of their place. Lovely Stay on Lake Superior

This was a fantastic stay. The view and location were perfect for what we wanted to do on this trip. It is close to activities like pictured rocks and has lots of good dining options if you prefer eating out. It was a little different staying in the house with hosts but there is an easily accessible private entrance and the back yard area including a deck overlooking the lake and a private beach were left all to us during the stay. A nice boardwalk around to the entrance made loading and unloading the car easy. There were lots of extra amenities including a sauna and a pool table. The hosts gave us tons of good information and even had wine, chocolates plus breakfast food stocked in the refrigerator.

Julie and Bob were SUPERIOR hosts.

Their place was perfect for our UP get-away: the location right on Lake Superior was magical. We swam, enjoyed the sun from their beach chairs and, checked out all of the beautiful rocks on their beach. The rental was clean but homey. We could tell it was a place they cared for and enjoyed spending their time in in the off-season. More amenities than we could’ve ever hoped for including tons of two player games, A SAUNA, exercise equipment, a nice TV, and wine and chocolates on arrival. Definitely recommend this place to any and all hoping to have a relaxing and/or activity-filled vacation.

Comfort of home & the wild beauty of nature!

This property was exceptional! The bed was comfortable and the bedroom large enough to spread out all of our luggage for easy access. The living room and fireplace were cozy with the sound of the Lake Superior waves crashing in the background. The suana was relaxing and easy to use. The beach was sandy and only a few steps away with excellent views of the islands, and wood/kindling was provided for the beach fire pit. To top it all off, the owners provided breakfast food for the first day and a bottle of wine with chocolates!

Perfect stay

We loved our stay at Cherry Pointe Cottage. Julie and Bob were such welcoming hosts and attentive with any questions we had. Their suggestion to be sure we made it to Marquette was much appreciated and we enjoyed it so much…nothing is missed in all the amenities provided and Julie certainly touched us with her kindness and chocolates and wine. We so enjoyed the sauna and being just feet from the beach to enjoy the sunsets and gentle waves. We hope to be back!!

Gorgeous getaway

This property is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need for an extended stay. The shower/sauna is unbelievable and worth the stay by itself. Being right at the lake is wonderful too and we spent a while on the tiny beach at both day and night. We were nervous about the owners being upstairs, but we barely heard them at all. Julie and Bob are wonderful hosts and it's easy to strike up a friendly conversation with them. The place is conveniently located near Marquette and Munising with no shortage of things to do. We hope to visit again soon!

We are both retired school teachers from the lower peninsula who moved here to live in this beautiful area. We previously lived in Sterling Heights where we raised our six children. We know have 5 wonderful grandchildren and a sixth is due this summer. All of our children love to come visit us here, and it has become a very special place for them as well as us. We've made many meaningful memories here. We hope that you will do the same, and enjoy our home as much as we do.

This property is located between the two cities of Munising and Marquette. We are in the middle of the Hiawatha National Forest and some of the most beautiful shoreline in the Upper Peninsula. From the property you can see Grand Island in the distance and picturesque little AuTrain Island is within a
kayak ride away. You cannot find another lodging closer to the water than Cherry Pointe Cottage Apartment or more accommodating hosts.
