Willkommen im Himmel! Unser Ferienhaus liegt an einem Privatstrand in der Skipper's Bay am Ende einer Privatstraße. Während der Rest von York mit Aktivität boomt, können Sie sich entspannen und sogar in der privaten Bucht schwimmen. Wir laden Sie ein, etwas Zeit in unserem "anderen" Zuhause zu verbringen. Die Stadt York ist ein schöner und einladender Ort zum Entspannen und tiefen Atemzug. Erleben Sie eine New England Strandstadt am feinsten. Genießen Sie lokale Küche, besuchen Sie den Nubble Lighthouse, fahren Sie auf der Route 1 South nach Portsmouth oder Kittery, fahren Sie nach Norden nach Wells und Ogunquit oder genießen Sie die lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie The Golden Rod, York's Wildkönigreichs Vergnügungspark und Zoo, Short, Sands und Long Sandstrände sowie viele Souvenirläden. Wir hoffen, dass Sie es hier so sehr lieben wie wir!

Unsere Maine Attraktion bietet Privatsphäre, Ruhe und Frieden, die Bequemlichkeiten von zu Hause, und die schönsten Ansichten, die Sie je gesehen haben!

Unsere Maine Attraktion hat drei Schlafzimmer. Einer hat zwei Einzelbetten, man hat ein Doppelbett und man hat ein Queen-Size-Bett. Wir liefern die Kissen und Decken. Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirr, Besteck, Tassen, Gläser und Töpfe und Pfannen. Es gibt auch einen Kamin (kein Feuer bitte), eine Außendusche (April bis Oktober), ein Gasgrill, eine Waschmaschine und Trockner im Keller, WiFi, Kabel-TV, ein großes Deck vor dem Meer und vier rote Adirondack Stühle am Ozean.

Es gibt zwei öffentliche Strände in der Nähe. Short Sands Beach, zu Fuß vom Haus entfernt, befindet sich in der Stadt. Long Sands Beach ist weniger als fünf Minuten Fahrt.

Der York Beach Bereich bietet viele Restaurants aller Art sowie Hannafords Markt auf der Route 1 Süden.

Die Kittery Shopping Outlets sind nur zwanzig Minuten entfernt.

Es gibt mehrere Golfplätze in der Nähe.

York Beach hat einen Vergnügungspark, sowie einen Zoo. Beide sind saisonal geöffnet.

This house has an amazing location-short walk to downtown York or to a beautiful beach up the road. Also a stunning beach steps from the house. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Beautiful view of the bay and lovely home! Karen was very helpful and we would love to come back next season. Walking distance to York beach and town was great -just a short walk and lots to do in the area within a short distance. Wonderful stay!

Best stay in our favorite area!

We had an amazing stay at this perfectly tucked away beach house in Cape Neddick. The location can’t be beat, and Karen was a dream to communicate with. House rules and expectations are crystal clear, and the house is absolutely lovely, great for our family with young kids. Would happily stay there again, 10/10!

Peace on earth

The cottage was sweet with a wonderful deck to enjoy the incredible view. Absolute peace, and quiet only a short walk or ride to short sands. Sitting out on the Adirondack chairs and watching the sunrise was so wonderful. And Karen was always quick to get back to us and she was so friendly. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing spot, Incredible host

Karen’s cottage sits privately (despite close neighbors) on a beautiful ocean cove within walking distance of York, Maine. We spent much of our time wading to search for sea glass, sailing in our sailing kayak, and hanging out on the huge deck. Loved having a washer and dryer available! Loved collecting striped rocks! Whenever I sent a note to Karen, she responded immediately. She even ordered up nothing but sunny days for us! This is a very, very special place owned by a very wonderful person. We are appreciative and grateful.

Comfortable home, perfect location

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful location… The home had everything we needed.. The living room was so comfortable , and our views were just perfect… I would recommend bringing your own linens to make check out quick and easy… You are required to wash everything you use before you leave, and if you have to get out early, that makes it a little complicated, so bringing around resolve that completely. It was a wonderful stay!

Perfect vacation spot

My husband and I spent 4 days here the end of August for my birthday. It was absolutely perfect. The beach house has everything you could possibly want. The kitchen is well stocked plus love the table and chairs. The beds were very comfortable. The living space was just great. But the best part was the deck facing the water. The view was incredible. Spent our mornings out there for breakfast and lazy afternoons reading. Have already booked it for next year. Karen, the property owner, was extremely helpful and always responded back to us quickly. Both my husband and I highly recommend this place. Close to York Beach and also Ogunquit. Great location.

Very relaxing and quiet location!

We enjoyed our off-season stay at this location. I can't even begin to say how relaxing it felt to wake up and have a cup of coffee overlooking the ocean. The owner is very quick to communicate effectively and very nice. The property is clean, cozy, and has everything you need to enjoy a vacation - just bring your food to cook/prepare, your clothes, and you're ready for a much deserved vacation in this heavenly spot.

The owners' title really does say it all. Just a wonderful secluded location to enjoy "Maine - The way life should be". Minutes from anything you need or simply bring in your groceries and don't leave. As long time visitors to York Beach we can say staying here was truly special.

Beautiful and relaxing getaway

We really enjoyed our vacation at York Beach! Our Maine Attraction was a wonderful place for us to relax and unwind. We enjoyed gazing at the ocean every day from the oceanfront chairs as well as from the comfort of the living room and deck. We also felt adventurous with the outdoor shower! The beds were comfy and the fans kept the place comfortable. We appreciated having access to the kitchen appliances, cookware and dishes. We also appreciated being able to use the paper products, hand soap and dish soap. This cozy cottage was close to Short Sands beach, the Nubble Lighthouse, downtown shops and other York attractions. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

Lovely property and perfect location!

This was our first trip to Maine, although I travel often using either Home Away and AirBnB. The house was exactly as described and was well-maintained. It is cozy, cute and welcoming. The stone beach view off of the deck is gorgeous. Karen was also very easy to reach and offered suggestions and readily answered questions. There are a few things to note, however. First, you are expected to leave the house as clean as you found it. I knew this going in and, although my family and I are neat and tidy, we did spend time the night before we left cleaning just to be sure we got our deposit back. We were lucky, in my opinion, to have had no one else staying before us. Had there been, I may have reconsidered. I have no doubt that Karen would have handled any issues, but this is something to know up front. Also, you are responsible to take your trash with you. Karen tried to make arrangements for removal for us but wasn’t able to. Again, this is something that we knew up front and we didn’t think much of it. When it was time to leave though after a week with two full trash bags it was a bit difficult with space. Thanks so much, Karen!

Special Place in Maine

Our famiy has been coming to the York Beach area for awhile now. We are always looking for new places to stay. Our Maine Attraction was the best place we've found for our vacation in years. It is private, has access to the water, and is close to town when you want to be there. The house was perfect for two couples, and the deck and adirondack chairs by the water were great to enjoy the ocean breeze. We loved it there and hope to return.

We live in MA. This has been in our family for almost 50 years and, until this point, only rented to family and friends. We are now offering it to share with you and hope you will love and care for our little piece of heaven as much as we do. It really is a very special place.

In our opinion, there is nothing else like it. Heaven on Earth.
You can relax on our over-sized deck or up in our red Adirondack chairs or even on the rocks themselves and feel at peace. One of my favorite things to do is sit on the rocks themselves and look for sea glass and other little hidden treasures.

Because it's in a private bay you get the best of both worlds. While town is busy with the hustle and bustle of lots of tourists visiting wonderful York, this house is situated in a private bay where no trespassing is allowed. Only the people in the bay are allowed to use it. You can go join the excitement or have peace and quiet at the house or up on the rocks.
