Der perfekte Ort, um sich zu entspannen und den atemberaubenden Blick über den Strand von Ventnor Bay zu genießen. Die Wohnung ist nach Süden ausgerichtet und befindet sich in einer ruhigen Privatstraße mit eigenem Parkplatz und Blick auf den Strand. Die Stadt ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in der viktorianischen Küstenstadt Ventnor auf der Isle of Wight. Es ist berühmt für sein mildes Mikroklima im mediterranen Stil und hat die höchste Anzahl an Sonnenstunden in Großbritannien.

Der familienfreundliche Strand mit seinen hübschen viktorianischen Strandhütten und der fantastischen Küstenlandschaft ist perfekt für Familien oder Paare und zieht oft Wanderer, Schriftsteller und Künstler an, die auf der Suche nach einer unberührten Aussicht sind. Die skurrile Mischung aus kleinen Vintage-Läden und vielen beliebten Restaurants bietet für jeden etwas. Einige unserer Apartments sind auch hundefreundlich.

Die Wohnung im 2. Stock hat einen eigenen Parkplatz und einen unabhängigen Zugang und verfügt über 1 Familienschlafzimmer (Doppel- und Etagenbett), ein Badezimmer, eine separate Lounge (mit ausziehbarem Doppelbett) und eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die Wohnung hat einen fantastischen Meerblick sowohl vom Wohnzimmer als auch vom Schlafzimmer aus, perfekt um im Bett zu liegen und den Wellen zu lauschen!

Die Wohnung ist mit einem Küstenthema dekoriert und verfügt über Breitband-WLAN, Smart-TV, einen DVD-Player und eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspüler. Frische weiße Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind ebenfalls vorhanden.

Wir haben eine Waschküche, bieten eine Auswahl an Spielen, Büchern und DVDs und es gibt auch einen kleinen Garten, den die Gäste nutzen können.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass Ventnor hügelig ist und zu allen Apartments Stufen führen. Daher ist es nicht für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität geeignet.

Ideal place for a relaxing holiday

Friendly and helpful landlady. Well equipped apartment with an amazing view of the sea. One minute's walk to the beach. We enjoyed it very much and can highly recommend staying here.

Perfect getaway

We had a fantastic stay in Ventnor! The apartment was easy to find, impeccably clean, and wonderfully spacious. With stunning views and a perfect location, it exceeded our expectations. I’ll definitely be booking here again!

Weekend trip to Ventnor

First time at Saltys on a trip to Ventnor. Fist impressions were the amount of steps but then the property is on a hillside. You couldn't get better views of the sea once you've climbed to the flat. If you can handle the steps there is no better place to stay. Only gripes would be the dirty oven we had to wash before being able to use and the cheap bedding/linen and lack of loo roll. Would have no hesitation to return.

Full refurb needed

On our arrival it was obvious that the whole apartments decor carpets and furnishings were tired and this included the bedding. The bunk beds were not even made up so we couldnt stay in the same room and chat about our day. The pull down bed in the lounge was made up but you have to move the sofa to be able to pull the bed down...not ideal every day. The beds were like sleeping on concrete and in my book everyone deserves a good night sleep when on holiday. This is not what we had on these beds. The tv pixlated due to being so old and was unwatchable...im only glad that the weather was beautiful so that we didnt need the tv. We spoke to the host who admitted is was the oldest tv she had but wasn't on the island so couldnt do anything about it.The man that looks after the apartments was very helpful and asked the host if he could take a tv from one of the other apartments but was told no because they had guests coming in at the weekend. This was on the Tuesday and we were already there. Not impressed with the customer care ethic.The host agreed to take a fire stick from one of the apartments but the tv kept pixlating so was useless. There was only 3 towels that were left out for our use and this was not sufficient so permission was given to the apartment manager to give us some more. Three towels between two is not enough. So although the view is outstanding the apartment was not..We do not recommend and will not be returning to th acco............................agaismall it

We loved the apartment. It was perfect for the two of us and the dogs. The seaview from the lounge was great. The kitchen was was well equiped and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this property for a stay on IoW.

Lovely location, excellent views. Had to get used to all the steps, but did not spoil the holiday. All i would say is the apartment could do with a lick of paint. Would not hesitate to stay again. Bonus was able to take the dogs. Thanks for a lovely time.

Stunning Flat

A really lovely flat . Spotlessly clean . Both double beds really comfortable. Ingenious pull down double bed in lounge. Very large rooms with stunning views . You do need to be able to walk well as a lot of steps and a steep hill but would definitely come back if Dawn would have us !!

Great stay

Lovely apartment with panoramic views of the sea. Location was fantastic, just a few steps from the beach. Lots of nice restaurants and tea shops in Shanklin nearby. The apartment had everything we needed an was clean and bright. As there were quite a few steps leading up to the apartment it would be unsuitable for someone with mobility issues.

Good location, great views

Lovely little apartment which is well equipped. Ideal for what we needed. Listing should make it clear on the amount of steps as anyone less mobile would struggle to carry luggage to the top floor apartments. I did contact the owner to look to change my ferry time for my return and have yet to receive a response.

Fab location

This property is located in road that has an incline, and maneuvering with a car around the permanently parked car was a bit tricky. Add the walk up the stairs with bags got your heart rate up, BUT it was all worth it for the view that you wake up to and the sounds of the ocean at night. My one moan was the bed wasn't comfy, but then we didn't go to Ventnor to sleep.

Delightful and comfortable

The property was better than expected. Easy to park and all the amenities we needed. The views out to sea were spectacular. Super clean. Comfortable beds. DVDs, toys and games in the shared ground floor area was a nice touch. Solid value for money. The town itself is nice and simple. It's very hilly so you need to be in relatively good shape to get around. Would come again!

Great location in lovely seaside town

Loved the view to the sea from lounge and bedroom. Ventnor is a great spot with some lovely eateries in town if you search them out. Fabulous walks either way along the coast. Falling asleep and waking up hearing the sound of breaking waves was lovely

Lovely Sea View

The apartment was as described and a great base to explore the island. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had good heating when needed. It's quiet and peaceful, with a sea view so you can watch the ships passing in the English Channel and, with the windows open, listen to the waves on the beach (very relaxing). We had no problems or issues during our stay and had no need to contact Dawn, the property Manager. The steps up to the apartment from the front car park could make it difficult for some but if you're reasonably fit it shouldn't be a problem. There are plenty of things to see and do near Ventnor, a good choice of restaurants, and you can walk to Shanklin along the Coastal Path, passing some lovely tea rooms along the way. Would happily stay here again!

We are a family from Hampshire who simply love the sea!

We have travelled to many places with work and for fun, but are always drawn back to the coastline for those ever changing sea views and big skies.

We lead busy lives, Guy runs his own company providing technology to local government organisations and I juggle running the apartments along with 2 children and a dog, so Ventnor is somewhere we escape to whenever possible!

We have tried to give the apartments a lovely coastal feel with whitewashed walls and driftwood signs, and we have left lots of books and games for all to enjoy.

We hope you will have a fantastic time in Ventnor and would love you to hear about the best bits of your holiday.

A sunny day, a posh coffee and a sea view!

We had talked about owning a holiday home for years, and spent many hours gazing longingly in estate agents windows and searching for the right place. We fell in love with the Isle of Wight and particularly Ventnor, for its fantastic coastline and quirky shops & cafes. Finding the apartments where we could lie in bed and listen to the waves on the beach was like a dream come true.

Our children, Zac & Amelie, love finding treasures in rockpools, eating homemade ice creams from Crave, and playing frisbee on the beach.

Our dog, Derek, loves charging around on the beach and fetching driftwood from the sea.

Guy and I love to spend a sunny day with a good book and a posh coffee, just soaking up the sea view.
