Fabelhafte Villa befindet sich in der Nähe der historischen Stadt Atri. Diese geräumige Villa mit 4 Schlafzimmern ist renoviert und zu einem hohen Standard eingerichtet, wobei die traditionelle italienische Atmosphäre erhalten bleibt. Entspannen Sie auf den Liegestühlen am Privat 10m x 5m Pool während des Tages und beobachten den Sonnenuntergang mit einem Glas Wein auf der großen Terrasse im ersten Stock in den Abend. Die Villa verfügt über vier große Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder und eine große Terrasse auf der ersten Etage. Unten befindet sich eine gut ausgestattete Küche, separate Essbereiche drinnen und draußen, Hauswirtschaftsraum, eine gemütliche Lounge mit Ledergarnituren. Die Villa ist ideal mit schöner Aussicht und bietet etwas für jeden Geschmack und Altersgruppen gerecht zu werden. Sie sind innerhalb von 10 Minuten Fahrt von traditionellen Bergdörfer, Strand, Naturschutzgebiete, Sportanlagen und vieles mehr.
In den Sommermonaten viele Dörfer halten ihre traditionellen "Sagras 'und Festivals, während Frühling und Herbst sind die ideale Klima für eine Rad- oder Wanderurlaub.

Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Für unseren Sohn (keine 2 Jahre alt) gab es ein Babybett, Hochstuhl und sogar Spielzeug. Er hat sich gefreut. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, der Pool ist toll. Er war noch nicht benutzbar als wir kamen, da die Unwetter die geplanten Reparaturen verzögert hatten. Die Vermieter kamen uns entgegen. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war jederzeit super und schnell. Auch die vielen Tipps waren sehr wertvoll. Man muss aber für die allermeisten Wege auf das Auto zurückgreifen. Dafür haben wir abends im Garten unzählige Glühwürmchen gesehen. Tolles Erlebnis.

Lage schön, Ferienhaus extrem ungepflegt

Lage schön. Das Ferienhaus selber ist jedoch, obwohl relativ neu renoviert, in einem sehr schlechten Zustand: schmutzig und muffig. In der Küche befanden sich bereits schimmlig gewordene Lebensmittel der Vormieter, die Küchenschränke boten ein heilloses Durcheinander und waren schmutzig, das Geschirr darin teilweise gebraucht bzw. nicht sauber. Im Eingangsbereich befindet sich aufgrund eines undichten Wassertanks Schimmel in der Wand. Die Vermieter und Fewo direkt wurden über diese Zustände in Kenntnis gesetzt, FeWo direkt hat sich überhaupt nicht gemeldet, und auch die Vermieter haben die Umstände nicht beseitigt bzw. eine teilweise Rückerstattung des Mietpreises angeboten.

Super Villa

Wir durften in der Villa zwei Wochen mit der Familie verbringen und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Von der Buchung über die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern verlief alles reibungslos. Die Lage der Villa ist phänomenal, die Aussicht von der Terrasse ins Tal grandios. Es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Küche und mehrere Schlafzimmern. Ebenso gut ist ausstattungsmäßig für die Kleinen gesorgt was Spielzeug, Bettchen und Hochstühle angeht. Der Pool ist angenehm groß, sauber und wird regelmäßig gewartet. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung und ein herzlichen Dank an die Jemma für die herzliche Kommunikation.

Umgebund und hütte schöner als auf fotos. Die kontaktperson war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Teilweise paar Insekten welche den Weg in den Pool hefunden haben. Super Küche. Viel Platz. Empfehlenswert!

best place in Italy

Wir waren zwei Erwachsene und drei Kinder (16/14/4 Jahre) und alle waren sehr begeistert von dieser Villa und der schönen Gegend. Zum Haus: - super sauber und zu beton ist 1x die Woche wird das Haus geputzt inkl. neuer Handtücher/Bettzeug. Das wäre einen zusätzlichen Stern wert :-) - Gastgeber/Kontakt vor Ort sehr freundlich - Lage ist super und kommt in den Bilder bei weitem nicht rüber. Blick direkt ins Tal und keine Nachbarn, die reinschauen können. Auch der Pool ist absolut privat. Traumhaft. Alle haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und die Mischung aus Bergen und wunderschönen Stränden in unmittelbarer Nähe ist wirklich weiterzuempfehlen. Wir kommen hoffentlich bald wieder.

traumhafter Urlaub

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit und können das Haus jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Tolle Aussicht, sauber, schöner Pool. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, vor allem die Küche, es fehlt an nichts (der Gasgrill auf der Terrasse war klasse!) Lediglich eine Kleinigkeit, was uns fehlte, waren Haken und Regale im Bad und in den Schlafzimmern. Wir fühlten uns willkommen und freuten uns sehr über das Willkommenspaket mit kleinen Leckereien in der Küche. Das war ein perfekter Start in den Urlaub. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Zeit, auch ein großes Dankeschön an Tracy, die immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit war. Macht weiter so!

Excellent holiday home in the middle of beautiful landscapes

A comfortable house with four bedrooms, excellent choice for our group of three generations. Peaceful and quiet location in the middle of olive groves. The landscapes are even better than in the photos. Good swimming pool, comfortable outdoor areas and terraces. We used the barbeque frequently too. We truly enjoyed our stay. We had some issues with the water at first, but they were not related to the house itself and were solved quite quickly. The owners are very nice and helpful. They provided us a lot of valuable local information (tips for restaurants, shops, places to go etc), which made our holiday even better.

Geweldige locatie om Abruzzen te ontdekken

We (familie met 3 jonge pubers) hebben een heerlijke week gehad in dit prachtige comfortabele huis. Fantastisch uitzicht, heerlijk en groot zwembad. De inrichting van het huis is modern en het is zeer volledig uitgerust (wasmachine, BBQ, extra ijskast en alle keuken benodigdheden die je maar nodig hebt). Enige nadelen zijn het feit dat je 15-20 min moet rijden voor broodjes en/of een supermarkt en dat er geen airco in het huis is (maar wel ventilatoren). Leuke stadjes in de omgeving en leuke stranden goed te bereiken. Goede afstemming met betrouwbare eigenaren, mét tips voor restaurants etc.

The pictures do not do this property justice, from the incredible views, to the large and updated accommodations, large refreshing pool and central location, we were extremely satisfied! Great property for those wishing to relax, experience the local culture and spend time at the beach! Note, beaches are a short 10min drive away and are surprisingly wide with soft sand, shallow and warm water. Great for kids!

Brilliant Villa, Stunning Location

Our family had the most enjoyable and relaxing stay at this fabulous villa. We had excellent communication and stellar service the entire time. The information provided before the trip was extremely helpful and allowed us to pre-plan activities, restaurants and day trips making our time there much more relaxing. This was definitely a five star property, with stunning views and a great pool. We especially appreciated the pasta dinner and breakfast items to get us going. The villa was so well stocked. We had everything we needed and more. Check-in/check out was seamless. Tracey met us with the key and a quick tour. She was also able to assist with arranging a local food producers tour which was truly memorable. Manolo was our local guide and is very knowledgeable. He took us to the most incredible places we would not have known about. He will personalize the tour to your interests. If you visit the sheep farm for some cheese making, go hungry. We lost count of how many courses we were served for our lunch! The hospitality was wonderful. We would do this tour again in a heartbeat. We would also choose to stay at this villa again, without question. Everything was so clean and finished to a very high standard. The location was perfect for easy access to the beach and mountains. Atri is only a short drive and well worth the visit. Incredible architecture and rich in history. Chieti was a further drive, but we had a great day out there. Some of the best pizza and gelato around. The local people are so friendly and helpful, we truly enjoyed every moment and cannot wait to visit again. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your wonderful home.

Brilliant villa - highly recommended

The villa was everything we expected and more than adequate for a family of 5. The large rooms, huge terraces and great outdoor spaces all made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Kitchen was very well equipped, laundry room is great and there’s even a barbeque to have a go at cooking your own Arrosticini (Abruzzese lamb kebabs). A good TV and wi-fi kept the kids very happy too ! Bedrooms and bathrooms are all large and comfortably appointed, all rooms have terrace access, so lovely to walk out first or last thing and take in the stunning views. The pool was brilliant and we spent hours swimming, splashing and lounging on the comfortable beds. We had no issues with pool cleanliness, as mentioned by previous reviewer; with the pool being thoroughly cleaned twice during our stay and very well maintained. Handovers were easy and straightforward, with the house very clean on arrival. Information about the house and local area is excellent, we followed restaurant recommendations and weren’t ever disappointed. Communication from the owners was also first class. There are great local restaurants within a few kms, plus a brilliant winery down the road, so you really don’t have to go far to enjoy a true taste of Abruzzo and a warm reception from the locals. Atri is a lovely little town and well worth a visit, especially on market day (Monday). Great local produce, good cafes / ice creams and several good value restaurants as well. With the beach at Silvi just down the road and supermarkets and other shops even closer, it really does have everything you could want within a stone’s throw. Overall – fantastic villa with great facilities in an amazing location. We won’t ever forget our sundowners on the terrace taking in the views over the valley ! Highly recommended.

Very comfortable house with wonderful views in a great location

We rented this property for three weeks in June 2018 and really enjoyed our stay there. We consider this property to be one of the best that we rented in Italy over the years. Our experience of the house was that: - There was excellent communication from the owners during the entire booking process. - We received thorough and detailed information about area and facilities, including an online map identifying the various facilities. - Both the owners and the local caretakers were very friendly and helpful. - A large welcome package of food and drink, with a good variety of quality items, was ready for us upon arrival. - The house was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. - The house is spacious and so allows for privacy when needed for a larger group/family. - The location is excellent for access to both mountains and coast. - The area is delightful, with interesting small towns, wonderful food and wine, and very friendly locals. - There are amazing views from the house, especially while eating meals on patio which overlooks valley. - The bathrooms are a good size, in good condition, are very pleasantly tiled, with the two upstairs having nice spacious and modern showers. - The swimming pool is a good size, and the sunbeds were well maintained. - The mobile network reception was good. - The Wi-Fi was good, except for two of the bedrooms. - The availability of a Smart TV was very helpful, especially by providing access to streamed entertainment services. - The house was very quiet, except there can be some traffic noise heard in the one bedroom that faces the road. We feel that it would add considerably to guest comfort and convenience if: - Any damaged insect screen doors were repaired prior to guest arrival. - There were insect screens on some windows, particularly bathrooms, to permit better ventilation. - There were lower hanger rods in wardrobes, rather than having to use a pole for hanging and retrieving clothing. - There were a coffee table and/or side tables in the lounge, for at least some of the three sofas in that room. - TV channels were checked prior to guest arrival, since we were unable to get a signal for any of the English-language channels that we were assured should have been available. - The bottom of the swimming pool was thoroughly cleaned with every weekly pool maintenance visit, as many insects tend to sink to the bottom and are not easily removed by the guest using the supplied net.

Beautiful Villa in Scenic Position

We stayed her for a week in September. The villa is very well equipped and comfortable and is only a short drive away from the pretty hill town of Atri. Of particular not is the large swimming pool and very high quality bathrooms. Tracey, who looks after the villa is very helpful. Be aware that the country roads in Abruzzo are very badly broken and, although most of the actual potholes have been filled, you have to drive quite slowly when going anywhere! Atri, Silvi and Citta Sant'Angelo are all beautiful towns with good restaurants. They look particularly nice at night because of they are lit. Try to get a meal at the local Agro Tourismo run by Nicolette. It is only 1Km up the road to Atri and is staggeringly good value at 44 euros for two including wine. Bryan D Sussex

Lovely House in a pretty situation

The house has been well thought out and well equipped. We made good use of the area outside the kitchen for eating all our meals and relaxing out of the sun but the roof terrace off the 3 bedrooms was perfect for a drink as the sun set or for star gazing. Everyone enjoyed the pool set a bit away from the house which is very private with lovely views. Atri is well worth a visit either in the day when there's a market or for a stroll in the evening. Its been a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday for 3 generations.

Away from it all with everything you need

This was a very well equipped house. Our children (mostly teens) particularly liked the fact that it had good internet, a TV and a pool. As adults we enjoyed the shaded outside area near the kitchen where we could sit and watch the youngsters in the pool. You do need a car to get around but actually we didn't want to go out so much as everything we needed was right here. The local cantina (wine seller) in the village was definitely with a visit - especially with the generous tastings! The kitchen is a good size with plenty of pots, glasses etc. There is a utility room which was very useful. Customer service was excellent and the house was clean. Atri is well worth a visit and there are some lovely restaurants there but if you go in the height of summer be advised to go out earlier than the Italians (say around 7.30/8pm) or you will have difficulty parking! And at busy times book a table in a restaurant especially if you are a large group. There was so much useful info and maps in the house you can choose a place to go to quite easily. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing week's holiday and won't forget the amazing views in a hurry!

Amazing views from this spacious villa

The most amazing aspect of this large villa is its stunning view which we never tired of during our two-week stay. Enjoying a peaceful location, the property makes the most of these views with two big terraces - one for dining and the other top terrace opens out from three of the bedrooms for an incredible vista complete with relaxing furniture and umbrellas. Great pool - my 11-year-old loved the fact is was the same depth across, (good for pool games), really well equipped kitchen, wonderful walk-in showers and a huge amount of space all round, all newly furnished. Also noticed there were plenty of useful items if you are traveling with very young children. Nearby Atri is quite breathtaking, so unspoiled and the buildings are fascinating. Eating out is extremely good value and quality with lovely staff. Try the restaurants recommended - it's worth it! Water parks are an hour's drive, but offer a great day out for kids (cabaret, wave machines etc) and the designer shopping outlet just 20 mins from the villa is definitely worth a visit. We borrowed the empty bottles provided and filled up at the vineyard just down the road - incredible wine for just 1.50 euro a litre! Darren and Jemma very helpful and house manager Tracey attentive and happy to answer any questions throughout our stay. A very comprehensive and thoughtful villa pack is provided with maps and even photocopies of various info sheets to enable guests to take away. It was extremely hot during our July stay (40 degrees!) but the fans in all rooms were welcome. We would certainly recommend this villa and consider making a return visit. Amanda, John and Olivia

Fantastic villa and great views

So far, we have visited a lot of places in different countries in Europe. We would always aim to see the most popular tourist attractions, mingle with the local people and enjoy typical dishes and food. What we have realized during all these trips, however, is that the real beauty of travelling is to discover unique places and enjoy the hidden gems a country/town could offer. One of these places, which we discovered this year, was this beautiful Italian region Abbruzzo and the town of Atri in particular. And if you want to really get the best out of a visit there, I would highly recommend this villa. The location is superb - situated on a hill overlooking the whole valley, you can enjoy the lovely sunrises and sunsets from one of the terraces which offer different experience. In addition, you could simply pop down to the pool and relax comfortably in the peace and quiet of the whole place. I personally admired the beauty of the olive trees which you could see from the villa and to make things even more pleasant, the lovely homeowners would even provide you with their home-made olive oil to enjoy during your visit. Not to mention the proximity of the villa to a small vineyard where you could get another taste of the region and also to the beach, where you could enjoy different attractions and bars in the summer. This was definitely one of the best places we have visited and the spacious modern villa was fantastic (not to mention how clean and very well maintained everything was, which for me is always very important for the overall experience). We will be visiting again – hopefully very soon ;).

Fantastic Villa - Stunning Views

We spent one of the most relaxing 2 weeks of our lives at this beautiful villa at the beginning of September. The location is so peaceful and just a short drive into Atri for supplies. The villa is spacious and well equipped. This isn’t just a basic holiday rental accommodation, this feels like a home where everything has been thought of. In fact we used to say that if you think something’s missing you aren’t looking in the right place! The views are absolutely stunning and the website just doesn’t do it justice. There is no building to block your view and no clever photography – what you see on the website is the view you will see on arrival. We spent many an afternoon / evening on the terrace just watching the changing landscape and the beautiful clear skies with a glass of the local vino. To anyone who is looking on this site, we would have no hesitation in recommending the villa. In a word – perfecto!

Stunning Views & Large Rooms!

This villa is amazing! The views are stunning, the rooms are large and the owners have thought of everything! Our favorite part of the house (apart from the view) was the covered patio off the kitchen & family room. The description of this house was not accurate because it was BETTER than described!! It was clean and the local contact was very responsive. The kitchen has everything you need and everything you didn't know you needed. I would highly recommend this to a friend and if we ever return to Italy, we'll plan to stay here for 2 weeks instead of 1. Also, the owners are very friendly and super helpful.

An amazing holiday villa in a stunning location

Your villa is lovely and we will definitely visit again. In such a peaceful setting with breathtaking views from the balcony and the pool, yet just a short drive from magnificent beaches and traditional Abruzzo villages. We could not want for a better holiday home in a better location.

Fantastic Villa overlooking a picturesque valley

We were a party of 6 adults and one child and we had a fantastic time, the villa was extremely spacious all bedrooms of an amazing size 3 of which opened out onto an amazing veranda which then looked down onto an amazing pool and with views to die for (we spent many a night sat on the comfy sofas on the veranda drinking rose from the local lady down the road!) What a way to end a day sat around your own pool. We werent overlooked by anyone nor heard anyone a very peaceful location, however if you wanted a bit of local italian interaction Atri was only a 5-10min drive away which served all our means and had some lovely coffee shops where we could watch the world go by (some v good restaurants too). Darren and Jemma couldnt do enough for us prior to us arriving. The villa has been finished to an extremely high standard and most of all v comfortable beds. Not once did we feel that we were under each others feet at the villa it was that spacious. We are definitely returning in 2013! Thanks again Darren and Jemma. Anita Emery

We first started visiting this area of Abruzzo in 2004 and immediately fell in love with all that it has to offer - the food, the wine, the family friendly beaches, the restaurants, the old towns with cobbled streets and cafes but above all the friendly atmosphere.

Our dream of owning a house here soon became a serious venture and after much research we bought this house in 2007. It offered all that we were looking for in a peaceful location but easy access to all the things we enjoy.
We spent three years renovating and extending the property from a barely habitable farmhouse into a bright and spacious house with great facilities, a pool and garden with beautiful views.

We love spending our holidays here and making the most of the local delights. Feedback from our guests has been very positive and were impressed with the quality of the property.
Many of them spent evenings eating 'al fresco' on the portico with a glass of local wine, watching the sunset across the valley. Others preferred the early mornings - but they all enjoyed the pool and stunning views from the poolside.
