Snowdrop Cottage 1-bedroom (sleeps-2) Snowdrop Cottage has an open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area, with electric panel heaters and a wood-burning stove. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge, toaster, microwave and washing machine. Upstairs the spacious bedroom has a super-king bed and triple aspect views around the Dale. The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom with a shower, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail. There is parking outside Snowdrop Cottage and a spacious shared garden with view over Danby dale. Free WiFi for each holiday cottage. Payment in full for your Holiday Cottage is due 6 weeks before day of arrival.

We welcome everyone to enjoy our stunning location in the North York Moor National Park just over a mile from village shops, a bakery, the Esk Valley railway, and 4 local pubs in the villages of Danby and Castleton; and the brilliant Danby Lodge National Park Centre. We are always onsite for your arrival and do our upmost to ensure your stay with us is as relaxing as possible.
The holiday cottages (originally sandstone barns) all have beautiful views, parking right outside the cottage and a Electric Vehicle charging point. The cottages sleep 2-4 people and all have well-equipped kitchens, dining tables, private bathrooms, free Wifi, and access to beautiful garden with 4 seating areas.
A great location to explore the National Park and the Jurassic coastline from the North to the South: Saltburn, Staithes, Whitby, and Robin-Hoods-Bay are all within easy reach. Travel on the famous North York Moors heritage railway and visit Goathland. A host of activities and adventure awaits visit: Helmsley Castle, Rievaulx Abbey, Pickering Castle, Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire Water Park, some of Britains oldest seaside towns and pretty moors villages.
Fantastic for cycling and walking there are routes for all abilities from our door. Close to the Esk Valley Walk path and St Hilda's Way walking route. We are lucky enough to be in one of the best places to see stars with the nearby Danby Lodge National Park Centre an official Dark Sky Discovery Site.
