Close to shopping and sites

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was in close proximity to the major sites, dining and shopping. There are two grocery stores nearby. One is for gourmet items and the other the basics. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Apartment was close to statue of David. Very walkable through the city. We did a self checkin and she was very easy to get ahold of. We were well prepared with all the stairs after reading all the other reviews but otherwise the stay was great.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Florence

This apartment is beautiful, historic, and just meters from the Duomo and the Accademia. We loved our stay in this gorgeous apartment. It was perfect for our family of 5, and close to everything that we wanted to see. It was very clean and hospitable. We did not mind the 4 flights of stairs, and enjoyed the scenery. Sabrina and Luigi were wonderful hosts!

fantastic location but

The apartment was a block away from the Duomo and an easy walking distance from the train station, Mercato Centrale, and all the other major attractions. It was comfortable and welcoming after a long day of visiting the city. Since the check-in process was completed without personal contact, the host was not present to address specific problems we encountered and the method used to provide our personal information (passports) was not secure.

Central Florence Apartment

What a lovely place! From the time of booking to the time we arrived, it was easy to communicate with Sabrina. The apartment is on a side street that connects the Duomo to the Academia, so it is well travelled but quiet and quaint. It is on the top floor which meant it had plenty of light (and sky lights). The kitchen is up to date and well stocked - we used it for breakfast, some lunches and cooked three gourmet dinners. It's spacious - great for two adults and 2 kids to spread out. The apartment is so centrally located, so we could go to Palazzo Vecchio in the morning, come home for lunch and a nap, then go to the Academia. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The washer/ dryer and dishwasher are very useful, plus there is a clothes line. We felt right at home! We highly recommend this apartment and we would be eager to return.

This apartment is in a great location for touring Florence. You are a short walk from the Basilica and several of the major museums. We had a rental car and were able to park it very close by (there are 2 parking lots within a block of the apartment). The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to have some quiet meals there. The beds were very comfortable. Sabrina sent great instructions on how to enter the apartment. I also appreciated the map with directions on where to take the trash at the end of our stay. Would highly recommend this rental

The apartment was located at a good location for where we wanted to go. There was a little grocery store down the street that was handy. Only real issue was how loud the streets were while trying to sleep.

Close to the action

This two bedroom apartment is large and comfortable and in a great location, just a block down the street from Galleria dell'Accademia. Our only complaint with the location is the number of stairs you have to climb to reach the top floor apartment. It's not an easy task if you have heavy luggage! We didn't feel like it was an option to go back to the room to rest during the day because the stairs are so daunting. When we arrived the first day, the air conditioner wasn't on and it took about 30 minutes to get it started. That's tough when you've just climbed all those stairs with 4 heavy bags! Fortunately, Luigi helped us get it running and it worked fine for the remainder of our trip. Overall, we really appreciated being in a spot that's as central as this one.

Great apartment!

This apartment was perfect for our family of 4. It had all of the modern amenities. It has a beautiful new kitchen with dishwasher, newly remodeled beautiful bathroom, washing machine and AC in every room that worked so well! I like that there was a code and lockbox for the keys. We stayed in 5 different apartments throughout Italy and this was the BEST! The only word of caution is the 4 flights of stairs. Don’t forget anything when you go out! The location was amazing as well- close to everything! I would definitely recommend.

Tu casa en Florencia

Florencia es una ciudad magnífica, no es nada nuevo: un centro histórico que invita a andarlo, a mirarlo y, porqué no, ¡a comerlo! Palacios, museos, estatuas, pero también heladerías, trattorias, pizzerías... Es increíble. Pero finalmente debes volver a tu casa para descansar y planear el siguiente día. Eso puedes hacerlo con seguridad en este apartamento: sí, debes subir escalones, pero luego tienes un salón agradable con una ventana en la que acodarte y ver llover sobre los tejados florentinos, quizás mientras tomas un expreso; cocina completa y muy bien surtida (no 4 vasos y 4 platos como en otros sitios), habitaciones cómodas con aire acondicionado, baño con una buena ducha y otra cosa que nos preocupa siempre que contratamos un apartamento: ¿cómo será la llegada, me harán esperar mucho? Aquí no, Sabrina es una de las mejores personas que podrás encontrarte para eso, con información completa y contacto en todo momento. Quiero volver, ojalá pueda hacerlo pronto, quizás uno de estos inviernos para ver otra Florencia.

Great apartment in the heart of Florence

This is a great apartment in a central location, yet it is a quiet and relaxing haven after long days sightseeing. The apartment is clean, spacious and well-fitted out for a short stay. The two bedrooms are lovely and there is a nice mix of antique and modern furniture. At street level there is a handy cafe where we grabbed breakfast on a couple of mornings. It is an easy walk to the station. Would definitely choose it again.

Beautiful, roomy, clean, perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We would have loved to stay longer. The apartment is clean and newly remodeled. Everything is top quality. The location cannot be beat. It is a close walk to everything. The Duomo is just a few minutes walk away. There was an extra €40 asked of us after booking. This was to pay for a new Florence tax on Airbnb. We were asked to leave it in cash when we left. This apartment was such a nice place we happily paid.

Excellente semaine à Florence

L'appartement est très agréable et très fonctionnel : une chambre pour les parents, une chambre pour les enfants + un séjour/salle à manger/cuisine agréable. Que demander de plus ? L'appartement est en plein centre de Florence si bien que l'on peut tout faire à pied ! Peut être un peu plus de vaisselle aurait été bien: le lave vaisselle tournait à moitié vide.....et nous n'avons rien trouvé qui puisse aller dans le four...Pas très grave dans l'absolu puisque nous n'avons pas beaucoup cuisiné.....

Apartamento confortável no coração de Firenze

Este apartamento é uma excelente opção para 4 pessoas, bem próximo ao Duomo e à Accademia. É perfeito para explorar todo o centro histórico à pé. O atendimento da proprietária Sabrina é muito cordial e bastante eficiente. Os quartos são confortáveis, o aquecimento funciona muito bem, a cozinha tem equipamentos suficientes para fazer refeições no apartamento. Há um único banheiro para os dois quartos, mas é muito bom , com um excelente ducha. O único inconveniente é subir os 71 degraus com malas, pois não há elevador. Mas os demais aspectos compensa em muito o esforço.

Terrific location!

Florence is the perfect city to explore on foot. Located just north of the Duomo, this property is within easy walking distance of all major sites in the historic district. Property is safe, clean and well equipped. Two caveats...there is a rather noisy bar nearby and be prepared to climb 69 steps to the front door.
