Recently refurbished Duplex apartment in the picturesque resort of Les Arcs 1950 with ski-in/ski-out facilities. The apartment is situated at the top of the Refuge du Montagnard building which has a welcoming reception area.
The apartment can accommodate 8, 6 in the two bedrooms and 2 people on a sofa-bed in the living room. The master bedroom is big enough to comfortably accommodate a children’s travel cot.
On the ground floor there is an open plan living/kitchen/dining area with a fireplace. There is a terrace off the living area with table and chairs. The fitted kitchenette contains fridge, electric hob/oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. All the crockery/glasses/cutlery/pans and utensils are provided. Free laundry facilities (washer/dryer) are available on the same floor together with a bin area.
Off of the entrance hall there is a WC with wash basin unit, as well as a large wardrobe and numerous hooks to hang up ski jackets etc..
On the first floor there are two bedrooms – a double with an en-suite with a shower over the bath, basin, WC and heated towel rail. There is a further bedroom with bunk beds and 2 single beds (Trundle bed style). A separate shower room with sink, basin and heated towel rail with a WC next door.
All bedrooms have cupboards for clothes and storage with a further cupboard available on the upstairs landing area. The apartment has been given the level of comfort rating of 5 Paradiski crystals (highest rating).
The apartment is ski-in-ski-out and there are two ski lockers at ground level with a door straight onto the slopes with access to two main chairlifts connecting you to the rest of the resort. Les Arcs is linked to La Plagne via a double decker express cable car making this one of the largest ski areas in France. The village provides many other activities such as Randonnee and snowshoeing plus numerous activities for children.
Complementary wifi. High chair and cot available on request. Apartment is cleaned prior to your arrival and again on your departure, we ask that you leave the kitchen clean and tidy in the manner you found it.
Refuge Du Montagnard has its own outside heated Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Guests have access to the gym and pools of both Prince des Cimes (which houses an indoor swimming pool) and Hameau du Glacier. The village also offers a high quality Spa.
Please note that the opening and closing times of the swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna are from 10am - 8pm.

There is parking spaces in the underground car park (additional cost of 98 euros for the week directly paid to the parking company). The car park is equipped with two charging points for TESLA electric vehicles and one charging point for all types of electric vehicles.
The village has numerous ski-hire shops, bars, restaurants, ATM, supermarket and bakery. There are further bars and restaurants at Les Arcs 2000 with easy access on the free gondola. We will send you a brochure with information about the apartment and the village and surrounding areas.

The village of Arc 1950 is a unique concept of pedestrian village with superb facilities. Being able to ski out of the residence and onto the piste is fantastic and you can ski through the village which is a delight. It is particularly easy with children as ski lessons with the ESF start from the village, with a maximum 3minutes walk to reach the meeting point for the smaller ones. Arc 1950 is located on the Paradiski area with 420kms of pistes linking Les Arcs to La Plagne, plenty of ski area for all abilities.
In the summer, there are many activities for children for children including daily events and many sportive activities for adults. The usual trekking and mountain bike riding but also archery, tennis, paragliding. The scenery is stunning and the outdoor swimming pools are a fantastic.
Keen cyclist? From the village, you have direct access to a variety of itineraries for all levels that will allow you to cross different sites and enjoy magnificent views. These descents will provide you with great sensations in the Alpine mountains of Les Arcs. With its 149 kms of marked mountain itineraries accessible to all, a very wide choice of mountain bike disciplines is offered to you thanks to the 10 ski lifts accessible by bike. You can get all the information about the timetables and prices of the transport tickets offered at the ticket office of the ski lifts located to the right of the entrance to the Résidence du Hameau du Glacier. In the village, it is possible to hire mountain bikes for all levels in the various shops in the village where you will receive the best advice. Residents have access to a bicycle garage to store your equipment (bicycles are not allowed in the apartments). You must provide anti-theft equipment for each of your bikes, knowing that a set of security cameras are located at the entrance of the premises. In addition, the amount of electric bikes available has increased for your pleasure on the domain of Les Arcs.

Getting to Arc 1950 from the airport
There are four airports you may travel from:
Lyon Saint Exupéry: 205km / 2 hours 35 minutes
Grenoble Saint Geoirs: 206 km / 2 hours 35 minutes by car
Chambéry - Aix: 125km / 1 hour 50 minutes by car
Genève: 202km / 2 hours 45 minutes by car
By car: A43 to Albertville, 2x2 lanes to Moûtiers, then the N90 to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, and finally the D119 to the destination. Covered parking is available for a fee.
The Ben’s Bus network of shared transfers include buses from Geneva Airport and Chambery Airport to Les Arcs. They have a stop in Les Arcs 1950. From Grenoble and Lyon Airports, their shuttles go as far as Bourg Saint Maurice, the village at the bottom of the mountain and the transport hub for Les Arcs. Bourg-St-Maurice has a train station with TGV and international services. A funicular railway connects Bourg St Maurice to Arc 1600 from where there are free buses to Arc 1950.
