Liberte Barn with private heated swimming pool secure garden dog freindly

Newly renovated to high standard and opened August 2015, old cattle barn. Sitting in it's own securely fenced garden with it's own private use heated semi in ground swimming pool. Fitted out with new quality furniture and appliances. Three bedrooms, two of which can be either two singles or a double in each. Upstairs family bathroom which includes separate shower and bath. WI-FI to the whole of the property and garden. Satellite Free View UK TV. Downstairs utility and second toilet. Lounge seating for 6 in leather three piece suite. Seating for 6 around the dining table. Outside 6 seat quality patio dining set and 6 loungers, all with cushions and barbecue.

The cottage, barn and grounds were purchased by us in January 2011, and set in a very lovely secluded and naturally pretty location in an acre of private grounds. With both natural hedging and fencing to ensure privacy, each gite also has its own private fenced garden and semi in ground 4.4 meter octagonal solar-heated swimming pool for your exclusive use, along with BBQ and lounging and outdoor eating areas. Well behaved dogs most welcome at no extra cost

Besser geht es nicht

Die Wohnung ist eine umgebaute Scheune und liegt idyllisch etwa 10 km von St. Yrieix-la-Perche entfernt. Es ist alles perfekt. Drei Schlafzimmer, sehr schöner Wohnraum und eine perfekt ausgestattete Küche. Das beste aber sind die Gastgeber. Phil und Cyndi waren vor, während und sogar noch nach unserem Aufenthalt wahnsinnig bemüht, freundlich und in jeder Beziehung hilfreich. Besser geht‘s nicht.

Agréable location

La maison est confortable et spacieuse avec tout le nécessaire requis. Très facile à nettoyer. Nous avons eu une bonne surprise en découvrant un jardin clos arboré bien plus grand que sur les photos, fleuri et disposant d’une pergola.La piscine, propre et à 28 degrés, nous a permis de profiter des rares éclaircies de cet été 2021, et nos hôtes Phil et Cindy ont toujours été chaleureux et amicaux pour rendre notre séjour agréable.

Wonderful Stay! - August 2023

Our family of 6 (all 18+) have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing stay at Libertie Barn. Phil and Cindi are most excellent hosts, nothing too much trouble and on hand to offer advice and suggestions for things to do during our stay. Amongst many other outings we had a super time at the night market in Segur-Le-Chateau; such a great experience and atmosphere and we enjoyed a fun night with the locals in Jumilhac-Le-Grand watching Phil’s band play - not to be missed if you get the chance. Libertie Barn is located in a lovely rural area - so peaceful in beautiful surroundings. The barn is delightful and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Thank you so much Phil and Cindi, we look forward to a return visit 😊

Lovely stay in beautiful area

Lots to see and places to visit. Owners very friendly and helpfull. We were unlucky with the weather, lots of rain thus could not enjoy the pool as often as we would have liked.

A FABULOUS STAY

Wow what a find- we have just returned from a relaxing week in this delightful property. It was everything we wanted...... Phil and Cyndi did everything possible to make it a wonderful experience. The rooms were well equipped, beautifully decorated, and the pool and outside garden space was amazing!! Our two dogs were in their element including a dog paddling pool -how’s that for service😊The pool was well heated and there were lots of comfy loungers to soak up the glorious sunshine. We visited a few places around the area that were recommended in the welcome book. The local restaurants were lovely although we mainly chose to cook in and enjoy the sunshine in the garden until 9 o’clock. We thoroughly recommend this property and would very much like to return sometime.

Barn-Storming Bastille Experience!

Beautiful & thoughtful barn conversion. Kitchen had everything you could need. Lounge was comfortable with Sat TV - all non paying UK channels available. An extensive library of genres to suit most palates. Garden was spacious and the pool was great for soaking in during hot sunny weather. Bedrooms in keeping with the property were spacious and well ventilated.

Très beau gîte

Nous avons séjourné en février. Nous avons été accueilli par Philipp, homme très sympathique. Le gîte est très beau. L'ambiance est très chaleureuse, la décoration très étudiée. Cyndi, peintre selon ses deux très jolies oeuvres sur les murs est une artiste, cela se voit. Les chambres à l'étage sont du même gout et la literie très confortable. Je recommande ce gîte. L'été doit être également très agréable avec son jardin et sa petite piscine. Traduction : We stayed in February. We were greeted by Philipp, a very nice man. The cottage is very beautiful. The atmosphere is very warm, the decoration very studied. Cyndi, painter according to his two very pretty works on the walls is an artist, it can be seen. The upstairs rooms are of the same taste and bedding very comfortable. I would recommend this lodging. The summer must also be very pleasant with its garden and small swimm

A wonderful escape

Gite très agréable

Bonjour, Nous avons passé des vacances très agréables dans cette location (Liberté Barn) tout à fait conforme au descriptif ainsi qu'aux photos. Le jardin est parfait pour la détente, le farniente et la piscine (très bien sécurisée) avec une eau à 30° tous les jours est des plus délicieuse. L'intérieur quant à lui propose tout le confort nécessaire à la vie quotidienne. Les propriétaires sont accueillants, et très prévenants en cas de petits tracas. Perfect spring getaway

When you don’t feel ready to check out, you know you’ve found a gem! Phil & Cyndi made us feel welcome even before arriving at their lovely place. The Barn was spotless and had everything you needed for a self catering break away. Including a thoughtful bottle of wine and some beers for our arrival! Sharing their knowledge of the area to help us see more than we would otherwise get to see. Really comfortable, peaceful and privately homely. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook or recommend.

Excellent in every way

It felt like home as soon as we arrived, it's a spacious well designed property, it had everything we needed and more to make our time here one of our best experiences holidaying in France. The owner's were great hosts making us aware of everything the area had to offer, we intend to return to what has been a fantastic holiday stay..

Beautiful gives, excellent hosts, fantastic holiday!

We stayed in the converted barn for a week with our dog. We loved the renovation of the barn, really comfortable, clean and had everything you needed. The pool was fantastic to cool off on hot days, and Phil and Cyndi even had a paddling pool for the dog too! There was lots to do around the gites such as walking, exploring towns and eating out. Phil and Cyndi made some excellent recommendations for things for us to do and were great hosts, attentive when we needed them but definitely gave us space to relax on our own. Would definitely come here again and recommend it to others!

Stunning barn conversion with excellent amenities

Stunning converted barn conversion, with every amenity you could want, including a very welcome bottle of wine upon arrival! The property is beautifully presented with its own swimming pool and sun terrace. The owners are really hospitable and are happy to recommend places of interest to visit and introduce you to the local village life in Jumilhac le Grand. Would strongly recommend this property to family and friends as a lovely venue for a holiday.

A fabulous 5 star property

Beautiful barn conversion with full amenities, including an unexpected bottle of wine on arrival! The rooms were luxurious and the place was spotlessly clean. The garden was secluded so you felt safe and had privacy. The owners were lovely and incredibly hospitable - I'd certainly recommend this to my friends and family.

The barn is light and spacious very well appointed. Le jardins agreable plein de soleil, oiseaux et lezards. The pool is greatly appreciated in hot days. Les proprietaires sont charmants, acceuillants et au petit soins. Un petit coin de paradis! Paradise in a wonderful corner of France

Great accommodation in a rural setting

This place is near Jumilhac, but tucked away in a quiet location. We stayed in the barn which has two twin rooms and a double. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. The place was clean and delightfully furnished. Phil and Cyndi were very keen to ensure our stay was a success and they gave lots of advice about what to see and do. We particularly enjoyed Brantome and Segur. There is plenty more to discover, so we look forward to returning in the future.

You will not be disappointed

This was our second visit to Phil and Cyndi but our first to the newly renovated barn. The work has been carried out to a high standard and is a credit to the owners. The whole site is spacious and well looked after and the separate pools for both cottage and barn are a welcome relief on hot days. The property was spotless and well equipped, even down to a garlic crusher. We were very well looked after and given suggestions as to outings and restaurants of which there are many to choose from. The chateau in Jumilhac should be on the itinerary and slightly further afield is Limoges which is also worth a visit. Another "must" is a trip to Oradour-sur-glane which has a haunting stillness. The region is less busy than the more popular areas of the Dordogne but better for it in many ways.

fantastic accommodation and holiday

This was our second time to Liberte Bosquet gites, last year we stayed in the cottage and this time we opted for the newly renovated barn. The barn is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. It's light and airy throughout and the ceiling fans are a real boon to cool down the bedrooms. Outside is a good sized private garden and lovely heated pool, which was very welcome after days out. The surrounding area is stunning and Cyndi & Phil are always on hand with tips and advice so that you maximise your visit to this lovely part of France. There are some places that we wouldn't have found without their guidance. They even looked after our dog whilst we did the wine shop! Overall our holiday was exceptional and we've already booked our return visit next year.

This was our second holiday at Liberate Bosquet gites, this time staying in the newly renovated barn. The barn is light and airy, nicely furnished and well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The ceiling fans were a real boon for cooling the bedrooms down of an evening. Lots of privacy and a generous garden and a well looked after pool. Phil & Cyndi were the perfect hosts again and suggested new places to visit and really made us feel part of French life, nothing is too much trouble and they even looked after our dog whilst we did our wine shopping, and organised a birthday cake.
