17 einzelne und getrennte Kabinen teilen sich die Fläche und 1500 Meter von der Uferpromenade (unsere ist am Ende einer Straße, ganz privat und keine Autos fahren vorbei!). Schöne Wege zum Wandern / Mountainbiken sowie Winter Schneeschuhwandern. Der Komplex befindet sich am Goose Pond (der mit dem 900 Hektar großen Mousam Lake verbunden ist) - unser Dock ist ideal zum Schwimmen, Angeln, Kajak fahren, Paddeln usw. Zwei Kajaks stehen für Ihren Genuss auf Goose Pond & Mousam Lake zur Verfügung!Die Hütte verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, 2 Schlafzimmer im Loft-Stil mit jeweils 2 Einzelbetten, Wohnzimmer mit Sat-TV, große Küche, großen Essbereich, Badezimmer (Dusche) und große Sonnenverglasung in der Veranda Sitz- und Essecke - mit schöner Aussicht auf den Kettle Pond und die umliegenden Wälder. Shapleigh ist eine kleine ruhige Stadt - und doch nur 15 min. zu allen Ihren Einkaufsbedürfnissen.

Perfect quiet family getaway.

Beautiful cabin located on a very quiet and peaceful set of ponds. Plenty to do at the lakes, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking and more. The whole process was so smooth and easy. The host was great to work with and responded almost immediately to any question I had. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway to enjoy the outdoors.

Relaxing in the woods

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. I was scheduled for surgery right after vacation, so the serenity of the place was perfect! It was clean and beautiful inside and out. The only thing I would complain about was the height of the bed! I'm 4'10"!! lol Thanks for a great time!

Quiet and homey cabin

Well equipped and decorated. Friendly, helpful hosts who were easy to reach and responsive to our needs/questions. We have rented many cabins (and owned one) and this is one of the best. We visit family in ME and NH regularly and it is nice to have the waterfront area for activities for all ages. We hope to return on future visits!

The best!

This is our second time staying at Bret and Donna’s cabin. It is hands down the best vacation rental we have stayed in. We ran into a slight, unavoidable maintenance issue this time around, and Bret was immediately on it and got it fixed right away, frequently checking in and making sure we were comfortable. The location is quiet and peaceful, and the cabin itself is clean and well-maintained. Our only regret was that we were so busy visiting friends and family that we didn’t get to enjoy more time in the cabin itself!

We love this cabin.

The perfect place for us to relax as well as visiting friends and family who are in the area. This is our second visit. The cabin is welcoming, clean and well equipped. Relaxing and fun log cabin experience

My husband and I, along with our 17 yr old twins had a fabulous time in Bret's Maine log cabin. We had been a little worried that our teens might get bored, but no such problem. We enjoyed hanging out in the homey cabin, reading, playing games and having cookouts. We also loved the peaceful pine forest setting, hiking paths, kayaking and swimming off the dock. A pure dream vacation! Beautiful memories made that will last a life time!

From the moment we pulled up to the cabin, we knew we picked the right place. The inside, from top to bottom was charming and comfortable for the three of us. It was so nice waking up and having coffee and a good book out in the sunroom. With the kayaks, we were able to take our grandson out on the pond for his first time.
