Das kürzlich renovierte Ferienhaus bietet aktualisierte Geräte und Armaturen, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein Schlafzimmer / Wohnzimmer mit Flachbildschirm t. v., neuere Betten und eine Terrasse im Freien. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in günstiger Lage neben dem Bidwell Point Park Swim Beach. Es gibt auch einen Angel- / Schwimmdock vor Ort. Unser Resort liegt auf einer Klippe in der AR Ozark Mountain Region und hat eine der schönsten Aussichten auf den Norforker See! Wir haben auch Hängematten zum Entspannen, üppige Landschaft, viel Natur, Ruhe und Entspannung und Erholung im Freien. Wir sind 1/4 Meile zum nächsten Yachthafen & 10 Meilen von Mountain Home, AR entfernt

Great Stay

We spent two nights at the Wagon Wheel Resort and really enjoyed the stay. The cabin was cute and nicely furnished. The owner Jenni was very helpful and was always available when needed. We will definitely stay here again and will refer our friends to this resort.

Quaint & Homey

We had a nice stay at Cabin #5 at Wagon Wheel Resort. It was only a short 5 min drive from the marina which was perfect since we spent the majority of the weekend boating on the lake. Beautiful grounds and gorgeous view of the lake. The host was sweet and friendly as well. We will return for sure! This lake is unkind anything we have ever seen.

The property managers Jennie and Jared are great! They understood our needs. The cottage is cozy and has all that is needed. Kitchen, beds, bathroom, tv, internet...and a great view of the lake. We will definitely come back!

Very laid back and relaxing

This was a great place for our 2 day layover traveling from Ohio to texas with a boat. The lake and wagon wheel was a great pick and made it so enjoying. Wish it was for longer. Maybe next time stay longer. I recommend staying at wagon wheel and jenni was great helping us out.

Quiet, Relaxing, Helpful

We enjoyed the location. Easy to get to get around. You can visit quite a few places within 30 min drive. The hospitality of the area is fabulous. Jenni was super pleasant and helpful providing suggestions & input for our ventures out. We enjoyed the cabin and are looking at the other options available on site for our next visit.

Couple Lake Getaway

Everything was perfect. My husband and I went for a long weekend. It was a small cabin that had everything you need, right by the lake but close enough drive to town to grab a bite to eat or for gas or whatever else you might need. And Jenni was the perfect hostess. We took our boat and there was a boat ramp 1/4 mile a way. This was our first time at Norfork Lake and I still can’t get over how clear and beautiful it was.

Great spot for a quick getaway!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin and the property were clean and well kept. Nothing fancy, but everything you need to enjoy yourself and the property owners were friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and flexible (thankfully! a wreck had the interstate shut down and we arrived several hours later than our intended time!). We had planned to bring our dog Biscuit, but a last minute vet problem kept him at home. We will defiantly bring him next time. He would have loved it! Pat & Diana

Great Visit

The property is located at a great spot on the lake. The walk down to the water is a challenge. But it’s doable. Close to marinas, shopping centers, restaurants, and parks. The cabin isn’t big but we slept four just fine...with two small dogs. The owners are great. Definitely a fun time.

Amazing

The owners were great, placing a key in the cabin to accommodate our late arrival. The cabin had everything you could need while visiting. There was a cute little park right next to the cabin for the kids to play; and they even put toys out to play with. The cabin was very clean; and the owner was friendly and inviting. 10/10 would recommend this resort to everyone and anyone! great people, great cabins, nice view of the lake.

The room was HORRIBLY small. Bathroom in the center of the room and had NO venting. The refrigerator's back was the headboard for the bed. It was NOTHING like the pictures. VERY deceptive. I will never stay again and will strongly discourage any one else. Also took 45 minutes to get the owners there to even let us in.

Perfect little cabin getaway

My husband and I stayed for a weekend in this quaint cottage and it was just the perfect getaway. Being so close to the lake gave us lots of things to see and do, and we had a great time. The hosts were very accommodating with us, and very friendly. The cabin had all the amenities we were looking for, and we were very comfortable during our stay.

Peace and quiet

Beautiful property on Lake Norfork. Easy to find, close to town. Clean, well maintained cabins. Easy check-in, check-out. Owners are wonderful very attentive and accommodating to every need. My wife and I would not stay any other place.

Great lakeside getaway

Beautiful 😍

The view is awesome! Jennie and Jarod are very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The cabin was perfect for us, plenty of space and had everything we needed. We found morals went fishing on a charter called Reel Fishing with the guide named Jake, who made sure we had fun. Went discing in Mountain view, Great course! Could not if asked for ba better place.

Serenity on the lake

Can’t say enough good things about Wagon Wheel Resort. Our stay was a perfect getaway. Not far from town, clean and comfortable cabins right on the lake. Jenni and Jared were perfect hosts. Will absolutely recommend to friends and family.

Just what I needed while in town for 2 days.

I found the room neat, very convenient to activities for g-children on spring break. I met the owners and had good conversations w/ them. The lake can be seen from this property. I didn't want to stay closer to town and found this set of cabins as a quiet retreat at the end of the day. I would stay at this cottage again when the opportunity allows me to come again. My g-children enjoyed a trip away to have fun and go on their first trout fishing trip. I am sharing this information with other family members.

We moved here from the Chicago area for the opportunity for Jared to use his construction/property maintenance background to be self-employed. Jenni had their daughter about a year later and now stays at the resort to run it and her and their son. In addition to the resort maintenance, Jared owns Twin Lakes Home Inspections and UC Construction and is a volunteer fire fighter. Jenni is involved in the Lake Tourism organization and fireworks association as well as the PTO.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Jared vacationed on Lake Norfork as a kid and it was his parent's dream when they were about his age to own a resort around here. After a few months of looking, we found the Mountain Home, AR community, and primarily the resort community in Gamaliel to be the right fit for Jenni to be interested in moving and resort ownership. Walking out of cabin 1, the breathtaking lake view, lush landscaping, and accessible wildlife was enough to convince Jenni this was worth moving South for. It has been well worth it!

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

This resort in particular has a lengthy history - a photo hangs in the office of the main building from 1955, when there were merely ferries to take travelers across the lake in to Mountain HOme, AR. Now, there are (2) bridges, which has changed the vacation experience, but not integrity of our quaint resort. The cabins have been renovated, but there is a lot of nostalgia on property still. Our place is conveniently located but offers a lot of privacy, peace, and serenity, with enough to do to keep the kids entertained and plenty of space for outdoor play.
