Die Sunrise Suite ist eine kürzlich renovierte Suite im Herzen von Charlevoix. Die Suite ist eine Effizienz-Suite - im Wesentlichen ein Zimmer - mit einer großen Terrasse mit Blick auf die Marina und Round Lake. Die großen Glasschiebetüren öffnen sich auf dem Deck - bringen die Außenseite hinein und erhöhen den Wohnraum erheblich.

Bei der Sunrise Suite haben Sie einfachen Zugang zu Restaurants, Galerien, Boutiquen, East Park und seinen Konzerten und mehr. Die Suite hat eine hohe Decke und man kann den Sonnenaufgang von den Drehstühlen vor den Schiebetüren oder draußen auf dem Deck beobachten. Das Deck hat auch einen Foreman Grill zum Grillen. Genießen Sie das Warten der Boote zu und von Round Lake und haben eine Vorderseite Sitz für venezianischen Festival und Feuerwerk.

Lovely

Hard to find new things to brag about because our room was perfect from day one the first time. The "offsite" parking is a short block away; and loading my wife or unloading our shopping for the day is never a problem. About the only thing our gracious host, Joan, couldn't take care of was the weather. I wouldn't be surprised if that's being worked on. We'll be back. Love the new rug.

Relaxing weekend

From the moment we walked up to the door, we loved it! Amazing location with a gorgeous view. We loved the huge patio and outdoor furniture for relaxing. The property was the perfect size for us, extremely clean with great amenities. The owner and property manager were fabulous and very helpful. The convenience to downtown Charlevoix was perfect - morning coffee just around the corner, great shopping, and plenty of restaurants and wine bar within walking distance. We will visit again for sure.

Quite the find

One of a kind. Clean and private. The view off the high-ceilinged covered porch is everything; you’re looking at the sky and the lake but you’re still protected. The room is beautifully appointed and just the right size. Right in the heart of downtown and unbelievably convenient. The host is as gracious as can be. We’ll be back.

Fall trip

This is an ok place to stay for a long weekend. We really enjoyed the location and the decor. The view from the deck was great. We appreciated Joan letting us bring our two small dogs. The linens were soft and smelled fresh. The bed was comfortable, but a little too soft and did not lay flat at the top. Parking was two blocks away. There were a pair of shorts and a dirty rug on the countertop in the kitchen with a note on them. This was the first thing we saw when we walked in. There was a huge basket of linens right by the door with a crumpled sheet on the top. We don’t know if they were clean or dirty and they were in the way the whole time. The amenities listed in the description included coffee. There was only expired cold brew and expired sugar and tea in the cabinet. We enjoyed the deck but the loud restaraunt staff to the left of us was pretty loud and annoying. A different restaraunt is at the back of the unit and the staff arrives very early and begins cooking and baking right away. I like the smell of baking bread but not at 5:45 am when I’m trying to sleep in. We could hear them clanking pans around and talking also. Some of the dishes in the cabinet were dirty and the area rug really needs to be shampooed. We did not like the second security camera that was aimed right at the sitting area on the deck. I can understand the need for one to monitor the door but I felt like my privacy was invaded with the second one. The fire table needed gas.

On The Harbor

We love staying at this property. It is small but fine for the 2 of us. You are right on Round Lake and in the heart of downtown. All the stores and restaurants are steps away. The unit has everything you need to be comfortable and the balcony is spacious and comfortable. Being on the second floor gives you a great view and keeps you above the traffic down below. The view is fabulous and watching the Beaver Island ferry and all the other boats come and go can keep you busy all day long.

On The Harbor

Sunrise Suite is a wonderful place to stay. It is small but has everything you need in a very efficient layout including a full kitchen. The large deck doubles the size of the space and is the best place to hang out facing the harbor watching the Beaver Island Ferry and all the boats going between Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix including the fascinating yachts from points unknown. The best part is you are right behind Bridge Street. You just go around the corner and all the shops and restaurants are right there. It couldn't be any more convenient. It is the best place to stay and we can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful patio overlooking harbor.

Outdoor patio experience was interrupted by noisy & crude restaurant workers taking their break outside right next door. Smoking, unpleasant language, etc. Otherwise, the unit was very nice & hostess was very attentive. Cleaning of unit before occupancy was only average.

Great location and view !

Everything was excellent except for the noise from the Bridge Street restaurant. Their employees are noisy while on their breaks with loud and at times crude language we could hear while were were on the deck. Also, would recommend a better mattress for the day bed. Other wise a great place to stay !

Fantastic Charlevoix Getaway

What a great location! Center of town, and we lucked out with the Venetian festival going on so had a perfect view of the fireworks from our patio and live music every night! We loved ease of access to coffee, food and the town, and it wa a great base for our up north adventure. Our dog loved it too - we’d highly recommend

We come to Charlevoix 1-2 times every year. We love the small beautiful town.

The property was very clean peaceful and tranquil. We love staying in Charlevoix. The lake is so beautiful. The air is cleaner and just everything is better in Charlevoix. We love that we get bring our dog with us and he is as welcomed as we are. So much appreciated. We love that we just can walk to town gor dinner and walk all over for the entire stay.

Top Charlevoix rental!

This is the nicest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Pros: The view of Round Lake and the marina are amazing. The location absolutely ideal being close to everything, but far enough from the Bridge Street traffic noise. Parking was not an issue even during the events. Every detail is well thought out with lovely, comfortable furnishings, great kitchen, handmade dishes, lots of cookware and bakeware. The murphy bed is very comfortable. The deck, where we spent a lot of time, is well appointed and again very comfortable. We have been coming to Charlevoix for more than 20 years and this trip we were lucky to be here for an art fair, weekly farmers markets, and the Boyne City Thunder which was an amazing time both from land and on the water. Highly recommend Lynda's Tacos in the parking lot at Family Fare/Rite Aid. Within walking distance we recommend The Grey Gables. The Salad Fork and The Cantina Mexican in the alley. Charlevoix Pizza Company and The Villager Pub and of course the Weathervane on Bridge Street. Terry's was recommended but didn't have food for our particular tastes. Oleson's is a good grocery. Food trucks at the corner of Ferry and Belvedere were not as exciting as we had hoped. Cons: We were here for 2 weeks, so initially these were not issues. As time progressed though they became overbearing. 1. The air handler for That French Place restaurant is in the condo closet. It is on continually throughout the day (around 22 hours total) so there isn't much interior silence. 2. The restaurant employees arrive at 4:45 am. 3. The restaurant abuts the back of the condo so the fragrances come through to the condo. While the baked items can be lovely, the ham is revolting. We kept the bathroom door closed and used a highly effective tea tree air freshener to keep the smells at bay. (recommend keeping the bathroom door closed to lessen 1,2,3) 4. The Bridge Street Tap Room is next door and the staff come out the back to take smoke breaks numerous times throughout the day. They stand at the edge of the deck so the smoke engulfs the deck. Their conversations can be quite enjoyable when they discuss days off and outrageous customer requests. They have roundtable discussions about "what would you do" that can be humorous. The wifi is good too. Beware the upper and lower units are on the same shared network. We had neighbors sending things to our printer. Recommend for shorter stays like long weekends, community events, weddings, etc.

Bigger than Expected!

We had a great stay in this Charlevoix apartment! Yes, it is small, but we actually thought it was much bigger than the pictures show, and we were completely comfortable the two of us with our two dogs. The best part is the huge deck that I swear is almost as big as the apartment! I spent a lot of time out there reading and even napping :) The apartment was easy to check into and was equipped with everything you need. The location is also fabulous both being on the water as well as within a few steps to get to many shops, restaurants, and bars. We would absolutely stay here again!

A few years ago, I visited some friends who have a vacation home in Charlevoix. I fell in love with the town and it's people. The fact it was August and I was coming from a long, hot, humid summer in the South might have had something to do with it.

However, I have been to Charlevoix in the middle of winter and still love it!

I've always wanted to live downtown where I could walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, farmer's market, groceries, movie theater. The Sunrise Suite is just such a place.

And Charlevoix is a charming - almost magical- place.
