Islamorada -

This beautiful three bedroom home is located in Miramar Beach on the beautiful Sunset Lake. Islamorada is an amazing and comfortable home that offers sleek hardwood floors throughout and comfortable furnishings. The living area features a flat screen TV that is mounted above the fireplace (non-operational) and is surrounded by a comfy sofa and loveseat as well as a chair with ottoman for lounging. There is a half bathroom accessible from the living area as well. The formal dining area has a large table with seating for eight and the nearby kitchen is easily accessible to make your families meals. Two guest bedrooms are located downstairs and both have queen sized beds and both have glass doors that lead out to a porch. Both of these bedrooms have access to a full bathroom.

The property offers a large screened in back porch that overlooks the lake. A staircase from the living area will lead up to the Master Bedroom which is spacious and has a vaulted ceiling. The Master Bedroom also has double glass doors that will lead out to a private balcony facing the lake. The Master Bedroom has a sitting area that offers a flat screen TV with a DVD player and also features a large en suite bathroom with double vanities and a giant garden tub as well as a separate shower. There is also a set of bunk beds in a private nook nearby the master bedroom.

First Floor: Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa and Balcony Access, Kitchen, Dining, Queen Bedroom, Queen Bedroom, Hall Bath with Tub/Shower Combo, Powder Room with Laundry.

Second Floor: King Master Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Soaking Tub + Twin Bunk Nook and Balcony Access.

*add $50.00 per day to heat pool (available Oct-April if needed)

*Personal tents, canopies, and umbrellas are not allowed on the beach. Umbrellas can be rented through the onsite beach service.

This is a lovely property.

The house is clean & well maintained. The first floor screened in porch was large & ceiling fans certainly helped with cooling. If you have more people that fit in the bedrooms, it would be a tight-squeeze vacation, but it is certainly doable. The walk to the beach was very quick. The pool's deep end is probably 5 ft, & they should advertise that more. It was a nice surprise to have a deeper pool.

Quiet and Fun

We had 8 people stay here comfortably. 3 adults, 2 teens and 3 under 12. Lots of room, super clean, AC worked great pool was clean and a great neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. My only wish item would have been more toilet paper for a 5 day stay. But still a 5 star vacay spot!

Peaceful Retreat

We had a wonderful time. It was a lovely setting , quiet and peaceful. It was decorated tastefully.. We were very unhappy with the tv situation, the streaming was difficult on some of the tv’s and the tv’s in two of the bedrooms were tiny. It was not handicap friendly. Grab bars would be helpful, handrails on stairs and pool would be nice. The house was adorable, but needed some deep cleaning along with the upper deck and screened in porch. Management and service techs, Dan and lDarious, responded immediately were very accommodating. We would love to come back for another month!

Superb Stay!

Warm, comfortable, livable space with every aminity needed. Location is ideal and communicating check-in, questions during our stay, and check-out, were the best we've ever had. The home was spotless and didn't just look clean, it felt clean. It smelled clean. There were no air fresheners to mask anything. We've been coming to Destin for 20+years and have stayed in many properties. This rental was exceptional across the board. Perfectly decorated in natural tones .... each place to sit or rest was cozy and comfortable. 2 couples and an 8 year old. Trust your stay here. We'll be back!

Peaceful Rental

This was very peaceful and quiet. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, plenty of towels, and comfortable beds! The pool was perfect for our kids and the neighborhood was super quiet! It was also very close the the beach. It was a little dusty, but overall was clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet and secluded, yet close to everything! The pool so yummy and cool and primarily in the shade which is perfect for a redhead who stays out of the sun. Will bring my family next time!

Overall a great stay at this lovely home. The pool was great and was located near the beach. Just a short 2-minute walk to the beach. It was great for a family of 5. I would definitely stay here again.

Very relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life

Great old home on quiet street. Only problem we had was programming the TV. My wife has had cancer for 4 years and I recently had back surgery, consequently we really enjoyed the heated pool. By the end of the week, we felt pretty good again. The bed was very comfortable and the house was well decorated.

This was a great property. It was a less than 5 minute walk to the private beach access. A previous review had recommended a small fan got the bunk room in the master closet. We brought a fan and that was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! We lost our home the day before we were scheduled to leave. We needed a pick me up. It was the perfect location. We were able to spend time at the pool while the weather wasn’t the best for the beach. I loved the family friendly feel. Much needed trip.

Multi family spring break

Our experience with this Ocean Reef property was great. We elected to have the pool heated, which was great because the Gulf was still cool, so we could comfortably swim all week. The kitchen was stocked reasonably well in terms of equipment but there was nothing for seasoning. My only complaint was that in trying to plan things out as much as possible (3 kids aged 2-7), I had asked specifics for where the beach access point was, and never got a clear answer (it is straight across from Sunfish St next to the Seaoats Motel). Having an outdoor shower to clean off after time on the beach was a nice benefit. The young children all slept in the bunks, which are in a closet attached to the master bedroom. I would recommend bringing a fan to keep that room more comfortable. The other family slept downstairs and the home was quiet enough that our early risers didn’t wake them up.

Beautiful home, great location

We loved this house. The layout of this house was great with plenty of room for two families with children (ages 6-9). The kids loved the pool and the walk to the beach was short. The only thing that we had a problem with was that the wifi was very slow. Not a big deal to me, but it may bother some people. Loved, loved this house! I would definitely stay here again.

I loved everything about the house and the property. The only disappointing thing is that it's not made clear there is active construction going on from 8am to 6pm M-F. There are stray nails that fall around the pool and it's obviously pretty noisy. It makes the property way less enjoyable when you feel the need to constantly leave during the day to get some peace. I also think the property could use some TLC and maybe a furniture update in the living room and on the patio. The cushions on the couches in both areas are more than well loved/used and the living room also smelled like the property had been sitting for some time before use even though that's not the case. It was everything you see in the pictures....it just should be made more clear about the construction and the price you pay nightly. I didn't pay almost 300 a night to not even be able to stay in the property during the day.

Family fun

We had 4 small kids and 4 adults and we fit perfectly in the house. The private pool was wonderful! The distance to the beach was great. We enjoyed our time here immensely! The only con we had were the mosquitos were absolutely horrible around the pool. We eventually bought 3 citronella candles and some fogger to help but regular spraying is probably needed. Amazing house though!

House was perfect for our family of 9. Just a quick short walk to the beach ... beach was nice and not over crowded. Was nice to come home from beach and have the pool to relax in. Loved the screened in porch, perfect for breakfast and for little ones to play in. Would love to visit again !!

Beautiful House & Neighborhood No Parking

I have been vacationing in Destin for 25 years, this is one of the first times I was disappointed with the property. If you accept the fact that you are in The Best area on the Gulf Coast then the property should be The Best also for the Money, It was NOT. It needs fresh paint, lots of water stains on ceilings and rotten wood on deck outside. In evening we wanted to sit outside near the pool, too many mosquitos due to overgrowth of trees with leaves all over. The house is suited for 10 guests but the neighbors call cops if you park on street, as driveway only handles 2 cars. Next door was under construction, they ran over gas line resulted in no hot water no cooking for one day. Location is excellent near beach. Size of house is excellent. A/C worked great, pool was nice addition. I called MGT felt disappointed at their response to my concerns, paid top dollar and my stay was not 5 stars. Will not go back to this property again, will go back to Destin.

Summer Vacay 2021

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Islamorada. The neighborhood is very pretty and is a close walking distance to a private beach. The beach wasn’t overcrowded which was a great plus! The house is very comfy and was the perfect size for our family. The kids loved the bunk beds and the outdoor shower was also nice to have. My husband and I loved the screened in back porch where we would have our morning coffee each day. We had a problem with the water heater during our stay and within a couple of hours there was a handy man there to fix the issue. The house is located near plenty of places to shop and eat. I would highly recommend this property for your stay in Destin!

Great Location

The location of the house was an easy walk to the beautiful beach!! We had the pool heated which was perfect. However, overall the property was not very clean and felt like it wasn’t being kept up. There is a beautiful screened in porch but it was filthy(old empty water bottles still there) table was not wiped off and sectional was dirty to sit on. Inside the house there was a lot of dust and build up on things like furniture and lighting and in kitchen. We went around and cleaned and wiped things up. The seating around the pool was old and dirty looking. Its sad because you can tell at one point the house was really nice. Its just not being kept up.

Perfect girls getaway!

This home was perfect after a long road trip! The heated pool was perfect with the sunny but chilly weather. The pool heater did stop working our second morning, but a quick note to maintenance through the guest portal and the heater was replaced and warming the pool back up by the afternoon. Cute as a button, very clean and comfy, a super easy and short walk to the beach, and beautiful sunrises across the lake from the decks made this an amazing vacation after a tough year!
