Girls Trip

Great access to beach! Walking distance to Coligny Plaza and short drive to sea pines and harbour town. Home had plenty of room for all of us. Loved the large balcony, the outdoor furniture and view of pool and ocean. We had a wonderful time at this home and would stay again!

Highly Recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 10/10! Where to begin???The unit its self was great. We booked the unit for a girls trip with 6 people. Very very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Unit was very clean. We LOVED the large patio and all the seating it provided. The location was great. Close to the pool and beach and a comfortable walking distance to Coligny Plaza. The only thing we didn't like was that you had to go out and around to get to the pool area and walkway to the beach but still not bad! We loved that a service was offered to rent beach equipment and that a credit was provided for it. The overall customer service received from Seashore Vacations was amazing! The booking process was very easy and efficient. The communication following was excellent. All information clearly provided. I plan to book the same unit again with Seashore Vacations.

The hub of activities is 1 block away. The bike path ends in the driveway. They were just finishing up painting on the building for a nice touch up. The unit is nice. Could use some updating but overall well worth the location and view right out the center to the ocean. Coffee is a standard pot (not Kurig :))

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, the elevator was out of service and the entire parking garage was closed. The hallways and stairwells were dark & unlit. The condo unit was desperately in need of up updating - especially the bathrooms. We were told this was one of the nicer units! This property seems to be on the decline. Hoping the company has nicer units as they were pleasant to work with.

Family beach time

Great location and condo complex. However our unit needed some updates in the bathrooms and a deep clean over all. The balcony was nice with nice furniture but the furniture in the living room needed replaced. Nice pool and it was heated!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time at Shorewood 234! The property was as advertised, and we had plenty of space in the unit to sleep, eat and hang out. Although the unit is in the rear of complex/by street, it's still only a 5-minute walk to the pool...and a few extra steps after that to the beach. I would recommend a beach cart for any families that want to carry chairs, umbrellas, etc. Additionally, the location of the unit makes it easy to go out and walk to Coligny Plaza, etc. The only issues we had were some clean-up items left by the cleaning crew. It had no major impact on our stay, and the property manager acted quickly to have maintenance come up and clean. Aside from this, the pool could use more cleaning/chemicals or something.Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Shorewood 234, and would definitely consider returning if we're in the area again in the future!

Loved the location!

This location is top notch! Truly a safe and beautiful property and we will visit again! We enjoyed our stay immensely! Our only complaint was we weren’t able to get into the condo until 5pm and after waiting all day it wasn’t the easiest transition on our first day. Plan on exactly when they tell you and maybe a little longer.

Good location, great view

This unit was a great location to be able to walk to the shops and restaurants of Coligny. Also, what a great view from the balcony. A straight on look out over the pool and ocean. The unit itself was well stocked and clean, perfect for what we needed. The owner was great to communicate with and very helpful. Only negative was guests are suppose to wear wristbands in the pool area to keep people not staying there out. Nowhere at the checkin office was there anything said about those. One guy working at the actual property hands them out. So a lady who lives in the condos full time hassled me and the guests staying with me, other guests. Everyday she was giving people a hard time about not having wristbands when she herself was not wearing one and joked about it in front of the people she already pestered. She made being down in the pool and hot tub area very unpleasant.

The living room furniture was worn and not very comfortable. The pool was closed for maintenance. This would have been good to know before booking our stay as we would have probably picked someplace else. Also, a significant amount of maintenance was being done on the outside of the building during our stay.

Enjoyed our stay

The South Forest Beach property was great for our family Christmas vacation. It was well stocked throughout and a great location near Coligny Square and right on the beach. It was too cold to enjoy the lovely porch looking out over the pool and ocean. We were low on hot water one day but we think we ran the dishwasher a lot. And the master bedroom was much warmer than the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, which were cold at night. It was a little smaller space, and more expensive than what we have rented at North Myrtle in the past, but that may reflect Hilton Head's serene beauty and popularity. It's a beautiful place! Buddy and the Seashore Staff were always quick to respond to questions and check-in was easy. Thank you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was very easy. The unit was very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well stocked except could use more wine glasses. Beds were comfortable. The best part about this unit is the balcony - it's huge with lots of comfortable seating and tables for eating outside. Though it's not an oceanfront unit, you can see and hear the ocean. The unit was pretty quiet except that the garbage truck came at 6am during 2 of the 3 mornings during our stay, which was loud for the people in the non-master bedrooms. We have stayed oceanfront int he past, but I would definitely stay in this unit again. Great location with easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Favorites were Pool Bar Jim's and Chowdaddy's.
