Idealer Stützpunkt für unseren Romtrip

Sehr große, saubere und gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt und Rückzugsort für unseren Rombesuch. Nahe an Termini und dem öffentlichen Verkehrsnetz. Direkte Umgebung ziemlich schmutzig, das Haus und die Wohnung aber perfekt für unsere Bedürfnisse.

Verbesserungswürdig: Check-in

Große Wohnung die kaum Wünsche offen lässt

Der Check in lief etwas holprig, leider kamen wir nicht wie vereinbart früher mit unserem Gepäck in das Appartement und warteten vergeblich 2 Stunden, um dann mit unseren Koffern die Stadt zu erkunden. Als der Check in dann vollzogen war wurden wir durch eine großräumige Wohnung entschädigt, die so ziemlich allen Ansprüchen gerecht wurde. Große gut ausgestattete Küche mit Essecke, großes Wohnzimmer ebenfalls mit Esstisch, 2 große Schlafräume und ein ziemlich kleines, was bei uns mit einer Person belegt war und zum Schlafen völlig ausreichend. Für 2 Personen wird dieser Raum allerdings recht eng sein, man muss sich schon sehr mögen um dort zusammen zu nächtigen, der Raum ist auch nur durch eine Schiebetür vom Flur getrennt. Das Ausziehsofa in einem der anderen Schlafräume ist für 2 Personen auch sehr gewagt. Es quietscht ordentlich beim Umdrehen und könnte mal erneuert werden. Ansonsten alles schön, besonderes Highlight sind die 3 Badezimmer. 2 davon sind jeweils an 2 Schlafzimmer angegliedert, das 3. liegt zentral und für jeden zugänglich. Es gibt einen extra Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und Bügelbrett und in jedem Raum ist eine Klimaanlage, auch in der Küche. Wohnung liegt im 4. Stock, 2 Schlafzimmer gehen raus zur Straße, die recht laut ist, aber mit geschlossenen Fenstern ist es sehr erträglich. Das kleine Schlafzimmer geht in einen Hinterhof raus. 2 Schlüssel stehen zur Verfügung und ein kleiner Fahrstuhl. Die Umgebung ist nicht die beste, dafür aber zentral gelegen mit Termininähe, zum Collosseum ist es nicht weit zu Fuß. Andrea hat tolle Tipps parat für Gastronomie, nightlife und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Absolute Empfehlung, würden wir mit 7 Personen wieder buchen.

Large Apartment in a Good Location

First of all let me start by saying the owner is extremely responsive. He arranged transportation for us to and from the airport which was a great added touch! Whenever we had questions he was quick to respond.This apartment is located about a 15-20 min walk to the Colosseum . It is a 5 min walk to a fresh market with fresh produce, cheese, meats, spices, baked goods and more! I had some of the best fruit in my life from that market! There is also a little coffee and pastry shop right below the apartment. The kitchen was nice and big and even had a dishwasher which is rare in older apartments like this one. It has very basic cooking supplies. Nothing too fancy but just enough. They provide coffee, sugar, oil, vinegar and some basic Italian Herbs. They were also kind enough to leave a large bottle of juice and water in the fridge for us when we got there! The beds can be arranged in several ways. Essentially he has 6 twin beds but can combine them to make 3 king beds. A large bed was important for us since my husband is quite the bed hog! The other great thing about this apartment is it has 3 bathrooms! That is also rare to find. The apartment is older but gives you those Italian living vibes that make it quaint. Overall our stay was great!

Très bel appartement

Appartement parfait, tout à fait conforme à la description du site.Très bien situé, proche de la gare de Termini et de la station de métro Victor Emanuel.Propre, calme, spacieux, sauf pour la troisième chambre trop petite et plus destinée à de jeunes enfants, plutôt qu'à des adultes.Nous n'avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer notre hôte mais nous avons correspondu et il a été présent tout au long de notre séjour.Je recommande cette location !

Great apartment!

We really enjoyed our stay in Esquilino. This apartment was very spacious for our family of 5. Having three bathrooms was fabulous! The neighborhood was convenient to the train station (where we also caught the bus). We had no issues with the location and felt perfectly safe even at night. It is not a touristy neighborhood so people should keep that in mind. We enjoyed the Sri Lankan restaurant around the corner. They were open on Christmas so it was a great place to get lunch that day! Would definitely stay in this apartment again.

Spacious apartment

It’s a roomy and comfortable apartment. We were in six and it was perfect. The weakest point it’s the shower. Water could have more pressure. Another weakness: Prince Humberto is a poorly lit street, wich gives a Impression of unsavory neighborhood. But we didn’t have any trouble walking at night.

Great Apartment in so-so neighborhood

The apartment was perfect for our family of 5. The location is close to the train station, which was great for our arrival in the city and going to the airport (much better than a taxi!). HOWEVER, be prepared to walk A LOT to see the monuments (fortunately, we love to walk). The neighborhood looks kinda shady, but we always felt safe walking around. Thankfully, the building has a (typically) small elevator, and it works well. The apartment is huge (3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus a living room and a big kitchen). There is an in-unit washing machine, but no dryer, but a drying rack is provided. Each room has a separate A/C unit, so everyone can feel comfortable. Water temp in the showers is somewhat inconsistent. The host was outstanding with communication and check-in was a breeze.

Excelente Departamento

El departamento es enorme y con instalaciones muy buenas. Tiene muy buenos baños. Seeing Roma!

The apartment itself is HUGE! It is also clean and well appointed. It is a short walk to the main Trimini train station. That said, and really the only negative, is that the area is dirty and not very nice. If you could move the apartment to another location in Rome, it would be perfection...but as it is, I wouldn't stay there again.

Great property and comfortable accommodated 8 adults. Includes an elevator which was helpful for an elderly family member. Manager was helpful with reasonable priced airport and cruise port transportation.Close to lots of transportation options to get you around the city center. Lots of options for eating and the manager provided great recommendations in his orientation.You will be in the center of a European city and should look past the exterior. Felt safe day and night.

Family holiday

This apartment is big and clean, but hasn't much daylight. If you want somewhere to hang out and relax, it's not a great choice for that reason. However it's very convenient to public transport and there's so much to see in Rome that maybe you'll only want somewhere to sleep and have breakfast, it's perfect for that. There are plenty of small restaurants in the area with lovely food, and a good supermarket just around the corner. Metro Vittorio Emmanuel is about five mins walk away, and there's a lovely little park there.

Andreino was great. Explained everything and gave us information and recommendations. Would have been nice if there was a toaster and a coffee capsule machine like an nespresso machine. Apartment was very large and comfortable but could use some freshing up like some repairs to the walls and fresh paint.

Large apartment convenient location

It is a large apartment located near the main train terminal in the heart of Rome. There is easy access to the subway system and buses, which made getting to the rest of Rome a breeze. The host was very gracious and provided a useful recommendation list for food options around Rome that never disappointed. The market, grocery store and gelateria nearby were great finds for us. The host arranged transportation to and from the airport, this was excellent. We don’t give a full five points because the showers did not stay consistently warm, and the toilets did not flush well. We were there in December and the heating worked well, and the elevator was a blessing for getting to this 5th floor apartment (that is floor 4 in Italy where the ground floor is 0)

Super fun-great location

The apartment was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures, Pier was very helpful in arranging all of our transportation, great communicator and fast responses to all my many questions. Only negative was that one of the bathrooms was missing the toilet seat. I would definitely stay here again!

Great flat for families or friends

While the flat was perfectly adequate and met the needs of the three couples in our group, it is in a neighborhood that requires a lot of walking to most monument areas. The neighborhood looks shadier than it is; we felt safe walking around for the most part, but once we entered the building, we felt completely secure and safe. A note for Americans: while the home does have in-unit laundry facilities as advertised, there is a washing machine, but no dryer. Dryers are not common in Europe. The Air conditioning worked well, and was much appreciated during the sweltering heat. The water pressure and water temperature in all of the showers was inconsistent. Washcloths are not provided, but clean towels are. There is a fantastic coffee shop just next-door. The host and hostess were outstanding with communication and check-in. We appreciated their flexibility. They had taken extra strides to be hospitable and kind.
