Garden Cottage 30 Gehen wir zum Strand! Wie kann man das gute Leben besser genießen als in einem Cottage-Retreat, das mit sanften beruhigenden Pastelltönen und natürlichem Stranddekor dekoriert ist. Dieses Cottage mit 4 Schlafzimmern und 3, 5 Bädern ist nur 50 Schritte von unserem Millionen-Dollar-Zentrum entfernt, in dem Sie auch den Strand erreichen. Sie betreten dieses Haus durch eine wunderschöne, weiße, luftige und geräumige Küche, die mit hochwertigen Bosch-Geräten aus Edelstahl, einer Fülle von Arbeitsflächen und einer Bar mit Platz für 4 Personen ausgestattet ist. Von der Küche finden Sie einen großen Esstisch mit Platz für acht Personen. Der Essbereich mündet in den Wohnbereich, der vor dem Flachbildfernseher und dem Gaskamin viel Platz zum Entspannen bietet. Das Wohnzimmer bietet einen einfachen Zugang zu einer abgeschirmten Veranda und einem umzäunten Außenwohnbereich, der mit einer Feuerstelle, einem Grill, Loungemöbeln und einem Esstisch mit Stühlen für vier Personen ausgestattet ist. Das Hauptschlafzimmer (KING) befindet sich ebenfalls im ersten Stock und verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank und ein eigenes Bad mit Doppelwaschtisch und übergroßer begehbarer Dusche. Im ersten Stock befindet sich ein halbes Bad und eine Waschküche. Sie betreten die zweite Etage mit einer urigen Sitzecke mit einem Flachbildfernseher, perfekt für die Kinder. Von dort aus finden Sie beide Gästezimmer und ein zusätzliches Schlafzimmer. Beide Gästezimmer verfügen über ein eigenes Bad, einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank und Zugang zur abgeschirmten Veranda. Zwei Schaukeln und Schaukelstühle machen diese große Veranda zu einer großen Entspannungszone. Das zusätzliche Schlafzimmer verfügt über zwei ausklappbare Betten, die speziell für die Kleinen gemacht wurden. Eine angeschlossene Garage beherbergt einen Kühler, Strandtücher, Sonnenschirm und 6 Liegestühle. Zwei Einfahrtparkplätze befinden sich außerhalb. Dieses Cottage hat den Grundriss "Osprey" und bietet Platz für 6 Erwachsene und 2 kleine Kinder.

Wenn unsere Richtlinien für Haustiere und Nichtraucher nicht eingehalten werden, wird eine Geldstrafe von 500 USD erhoben.

VOR ORT MANAGEMENT

Zugang zum Strand: Die Fortsetzung des Jekyll Island Revetment Rehabilitation Project des Staates Georgia hat dazu geführt, dass der Zugang zum Strand entlang unserer Küste vorübergehend unterbrochen wurde. Es gibt immer noch Zugang zum Flutstrand, an der Landseite des Felsens. Wir empfehlen Driftwood Beach, der sich nördlich von The Cottages oder nur wenige Autominuten südlich des Great Dunes Park befindet.

Loved the condo! Beautifully decorated, beds very comfortable, lovely screen porches. Very close to the pool. I would have loved a tv in the bedroom but it was fine. A beautiful home!

Peaceful and relaxing spot

Really like the property. Had everything you need for a week long stay. Screened in porches were incredibly enjoyable and we had a very relaxing long weekend on Jekyll. Will definitely be booking this property again in the future.

The house was beautiful, clean and in a great location. We enjoyed sitting on the 2nd floor screened porch, very quiet and peaceful. Location was great, we would rent again and rent bikes for the week.

Great Trip!

The house was exactly what we needed and were looking for. It was a beautiful home, right next to the beach. Each morning it was low tide and we could walk along the beach looking for treasures and enjoying the sunrise. We could sit outside on the screened in porch and not be bothered by any flies. We would definitely come again! Thanks!

Slightly disappointed.

We had stayed in this home 4 years ago and really enjoyed it. That's why we went back. The home itsself was just as we remembered...great location, spacious and perfect for our family. We arrived late Friday evening. On Saturday we got up and noticed lots of fruit flies in the refrigerator. We called the property manager right away. She said she was going to text someone and they would call us within 30 minutes. She called back 30 minutes later to see if anyone called us and I told her no they had not. She said they are just fruit flies and they don't hurt anything. She asked if we could clean the refrigerator. At this point we had all our groceries so we cleaned the refrigerator and found many more fruit flies in the process. We called back on Sunday with no reply from anyone and the fruit flies returned. On Monday, someone came by to treat for the fruit flies. We were leaving on Tuesday so basically we dealt with the fruit flies the entire time we were there. We had no kitchen towels to dry dishes if needed. There was only one set of bath towels for each person. I feel like the home was stocked better 4 years ago. So we were disappointed with some aspects of our stay. Hope they can resolve the management and stocking issues because otherwise it's a great place to stay.

Well kept and quiet community of townhomes

The community is a blend of rental visitors and permanent residents. All of the properties are well kept. The pool area is very nice and spacious with a pool house that has a pool table. The beach is only walkable at low tide on a calm day. We did have these little fruit fly looking bugs in the townhome but they are everywhere so it might just be something you have to deal with on your visit. I would not stay here if you were going to have a large group that was going to be loud. The permanent residents would not allow it. I would stay here again.

Overall nice, but beware of beach and appliances

Overall our family of 4 adults, 2 teens, and a toddler had a great time and we’re very comfortable. The townhome is close to the pool, clubhouse, and beach access. The upscale Bosch appliances were annoying: the fridge froze everything in the drawers and lower rack on the door. The dishwasher rack keeps coming off track. Using the toaster and coffee machine together blows the fuse. The fireplace did. not turn on despite some troubleshooting. The grill is old, nasty, and you have to use a flame to light it. The beach At the access gets swallowed up by high tide, so you have to go during low tide or drive 2 miles where there is more beach. While we were there we had to skip some beach days because the ocean water was a muddy consistency at the shore. Fortunately we had the pool to fall back in. The pool was great. The property is new, well-maintained, and very nice. The home has upscale finishes. The upstairs and downstairs porches are relaxing to hang out. Plenty of space and seating. Gas fire pit, fireplace, and grill are nice amenities. They supply a lot of nice cookware and utensils, but some were dirty or stained. The beds were all poor quality soft mattresses with no support and were very uncomfortable. Mostly just minor annoyances attributed to not being in our home, overall a real nice place.

Long weekend summer getaway

Looking for a change of scenery we rented two of these town houses with family during the pandemic. We had beautiful kitchens to cook meals in and enjoyed time on the porches, at the pool and on the bike path. Would definitely come again. Thank you for sharing your homes!

Beautiful, higher end cottage.

Lovely, well appointed, family oriented cottage. The amenities like the fire pit, grill, floating swings/beds and the screened-in porches helped us reorient our family to talk, read and play. In an effort to oversee what kids are watching, I loved that the televisions are centrally located. The point of this house is to focus on conversation, rest, laughter and togetherness. I found myself reading on all 4 porches! Kids played football in sand and pool. Pool is lovely. Zero entry side is a plus. Truly one of our favorite spaces the family has ever shared for a vacation. And with COVID, it’s nice to be in your own space versus a hotel and its hundreds of shared spaces. Thank you! Wish the beach was there in the afternoons, but still great early in the morning.

Beautiful property - convenient to pool but limited beach access

We had a great stay Sept 2018 at the Cottages. Unfortunately for us, we learned the week before our travel that the beach access to the lower beach was being removed for our stay. This meant we had to travel to nearby beach access in order to access the beach. With two young kids in tow, this was a bit inconvenient and we may have changed our reservation had we known about this sooner. It meant we spent most of our week at the pool - which was just fine. The zero entry was great for our young kids and the facilities are exceptional. The cottage was beautiful and well-equipped for what we needed in our stay. Allison added a pack and play for our youngest for only $25 for the week, which was also great. The lack of beach access was a pretty big bummer - we could've been anywhere with only a pool, but the facilities here are some of the nicest on Jekyll Island. My advice: check on the construction schedule for the beach access and find a time when you can actually get down to the ocean.

Great Family Vacation

What a beautiful home. We didn't want to leave and go back to reality after a week's stay. The pool and beach access was perfect. Loved the double swings on the top porch, in fact I took a nap on one. Would definitely consider renting again.

Very nice house with fixable issues.

This is a very nice townhouse in a great location, close to pool and beach access, however some issues need to be addressed. At the time of our visit, there was a gnat hatching on the island apparently. This homes front door is not hung correctly and there is a huge gap, leaving an opening to the outdoors, which allowed for a total infestation of gnats inside the home. For 5 of the 7 nights we were there, gnats filled every room. They climbed over all food we attempted to eat, all drinks and cups, on top of our baby's bottles, and all over our clean dishes. We did alert management to the issue, and they tried to address it by giving us apple cider vinegar to sit out in every room. Unfortunately the infestation was too great to be hindered by the apple cider. Management came to address the issue and acknowledged that our unit was by far the worst. We also dined at several restaurants, and spent time outside, never noticing gnats anywhere else. It's hard to imagine the issue being as bad as it was, with proper treating of the home for pests. Aside from the gnats, the only other issue we had was the kitchen did not have any measuring cups or spoons. My family and I would love to give this home a better rating, however the gnat issue put a damper on our entire week.

Immaculate, well-stocked and beautifully furnished!

You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the house....everything down to nightlights and bathwash in each bathroom. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need including Saran Wrap and extra trash bags. Little touches like that will keep people coming back! We rented bikes and also the golf cart. What a lovely place and nice area of the island.

Difficult to find address need to post address and 195 address. Cottage 30 appears no where. Very dark for night arrival. Nice new interior well furnished, development very dense. Well equipped kitchen comfortable interior.
