Das Hotel liegt am westlichen Ende der Insel Kiawah, zwischen dem Strand und dem Kiawah River, ist die Gated Community von Inlet Cove ein perfektes Familienurlaubsziel. Genießen Sie Delphin-beobachten und Vogelbeobachtung während Kajakfahren in der schönen Kiawah River und seine Sümpfe. Lounge in der Gemeinschafts-Pool, und beobachten Sie herrliche Sonnenuntergänge über den Sumpf aus der Gemeinde Dock. Gehen Sie bis zum Ende von Capt. Sam's Spit, entlang der unbebauten, natürlichen Strand, um Delfine Strang-Feed bei Ebbe beobachten. Das ist wirklich ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen und Verjüngen.

Beachwalker Park, und der angrenzende Hund Strand, sind eine malerische 8-minütigen Spaziergang von der Hütte. Wir bieten Liegestühle und einen Wagen, um es einfach zu machen. Der Gemeinschaftspool und das Dock sind ca. 6 Gehminuten entfernt. Auf dem Dock können Sie Garnelen, Crabbing und Angeln genießen, oder gehen Sie in den Fluss über den Kajak-Start und Paddle-Board-Landung. Für First-Timer, oder wenn Sie neu zum Kajakfahren im Kiawah River sind, empfehlen wir Ihnen zunächst eine Führung in Mingo Point, nur eine Meile entfernt. Erfahren Sie mehr über die Gezeiten-Zyklen und Strömungen und wie man in den Sümpfen navigiert. Die Naturforscher geben Ihnen ein faszinierendes Verständnis für alles, was im Sumpf vor sich geht!

Kiawah bietet auch fünf Championship-Golfplätze, zwei Tennis-Zentren, Parks und ein pädagogisches Naturzentrum. Inlet Cove ist nur 2 Meilen von den Restaurants, Boutique-Shopping und Lebensmittelgeschäft im Freshfield's Village.

Wenn zu Hause, der große, offene Wohn-und Essbereich mit komfortablen Möbeln wird es leicht zu entspannen. Genießen Sie WiFi, oder sehen Sie Upgrade Comcast TV und Streaming Blu-ray-Player auf dem großen Smart TV. Besser noch, Kopf auf die schöne abgeschirmte hintere Veranda, um die Rehe und andere Wildtier-Futter in den Hinterhof zu beobachten. Die Brise und die Vogelgesänge sind so beruhigend! Nachts kann man sogar den Ozean hören!

Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder in dieser Hütte. Das Hauptschlafzimmer, mit einem Queen-Size-Bett, hat Blick auf die üppigen Wälder und fängt die Morgensonne. Genießen Sie ein eigenes Bad und Flachbild-TV mit DVD-Player. Die zweite und dritte Schlafzimmer haben jeweils zwei Einzelbetten und teilen sich ein Badezimmer, eines davon mit einem weiteren Flachbild-TV und DVD-Player.

In der Wohnküche laden die bequemen Vintage-Drehstühle zum Verweilen ein und machen Spaß vor, während und nach den Mahlzeiten. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, darunter sowohl eine Tropf-Kaffeemaschine und ein Keurig, schöne Kochgeschirr, Küchenmaschine und Grillutensilien. Es gibt einen Gasgrill bequem unter dem Haus, mit Propan zur Verfügung gestellt.

Wir begrüßen bis zu 2 kleine bis mittelgroße Hunde. Kiawah ist ein wunderbarer Ort, um Spaß mit Ihrem vierbeinigen Familienmitglied zu haben, und Ferien sind einfach nicht so viel Spaß ohne sie! Da diese Hütte mit Teppich ausgelegt ist, bitte nur Hunde mitbringen, die zuverlässig hausgebrochen sind. Wir haben eine große Hundekiste zur Verfügung, wenn Ihr Hund Kiste benötigt.

Second Time at this property!

Love this villa at Kiawah...very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, really quiet and beautiful location! Short walk to the beach and close to Freshfields shopping center. Have stayed here twice and would definitely stay again. Very comfortably accommodates 6 people...1 King and 4 twins. Really nice place. LOVE dealing with Sweetgrass Properties as well!

We loved Inlet Cove.The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the close proximity to the pool, dock, and beach. We also loved being able to use the kayaks! 4 twin beds in the guest room suited our family perfectly!

Wonderful family week!

Great house, ideal location and was very comfortable or our family! The management team were extremely responsive when the cable needed repaired. My only feedback would be to not advertise that there is a kayak available for use. The life jackets (can understand that) and the paddles (kinda important) were in the owners locker, and we couldn't access.

Really great villa awesome location!!

This villa was just perfect! Really nicely decorated, awesome beds and great screened in porch!! I just loved it and will definitely rent it again!! The location couldn’t be better... right before the gated entrance to Kiawah and super close to the nicest public beach access spot!! Also, Sweetgrass Property MGMT was terrific to work with!!! Can’t wait to stay at this villa again!!!

Inlet Cove #106 is a perfect place to stay on Kiawah Island.

Inlet Cove in Kiawah is a quiet mostly residential community. The oeople are friendly and our home was oet friendly - akways a plus for us! The unique woodland setting with easy beach and pool access - not to mention bike paths and dock priveleges- are all geeat reasons to stay at this property!

Family Retreat

LOVED this property and we ha a wonderful, relaxing and comfortable stay. Lots to do and kids so enjoyed crabbing. Only problem was we were not allowed to swim in the community pool due to COVID, yet there were owners families swimming in there....was difficult for our 5 kids to see others swimming. Also, would have appreciated a bit more information from the rental agency when we arrived about this issue of swimming pools and where to launch kayaks etc. Otherwise, perfect stay! Thank you

Kiawah Island is wonderful

We loved Kiawah Island. It was our first time there. The house is located in a wonderful spot. We rented bikes and the beach is a short walk from the house. The home was nice but could use some updates. Our only complaint would be the critters in the home. We had ants, spiders and roaches. We called the company and they immediately sent a sprayer. Kiawah Island will definitely be a favorite vacation spot for us again.

First timers family vacation

We were a family with a dog and the location of this property was really good. We were close to the beach and also the pool area. We also loved that this location had a dock close by where we can go fishing, crabbing and kayaking right off of. The dolphins and other wildlife are so up close and it was the highlight of our stay. The property itself was nice and the inside was clean, however, the front deck, the screened in porch and the back deck were really un-useable. We also met a great deal of spiders inside upon check-in and a few other critters at night. I am not certain if this is the norm for the time of year we stayed but there were a lot of cobwebs inside the screened in porch and on the decks. It would have been good to have them cleaned and the areas sprayed before we stayed. So we really could not utilize those areas. However, that did not stop of from having a good time because the rest of the property was nice and clean and for a dog friendly property, you would not know that dogs stay there. The other thing that was a little disappointing was in other comments it listed that there was beach gear that can be utilized but when we arrived all of the beach gear we saw was locked up. When I called the property manager they indicated that the items that were locked could not be utilized by the renters. So I am not sure if there was beach gear somewhere else but we were told it couldn't be used. Luckily we brought some beach gear with us but we did not have a wagon to bring the beach gear to the beach. So just as an FYI, the beach gear may not be able to be used during your stay. However, there were 3 kayaks that we were able to use. Which was awesome. We did run out of propane during our stay while we were cooking dinner. Luckily we had friends that stayed at the same time, so we finished cooking by them since it was after hours and couldn't get propane right away but it was delivered after calling the property manager by the next day. I have to say though the overall consensus is that we really enjoyed the property and we would stay there again especially since we know what to expect and what is needed. Comfy, clean, and convenient home in gated community

Our family of 5 (plus our dog) stayed here in mid-July and had a great time! The home was just as described on VRBO and was very clean. It's hard to find a pet friendly place that doesn't smell or look like a pet friendly place, but you couldn't tell that anyone else had had a dog in here. The carpets and furniture were unstained and there was absolutely no 'pet' smell. It seems that most of the renters must be very respectful with their pets, as were we, in not allowing wet or sandy dogs inside and never allowing their dogs on the furniture. It critical that all pet owners show this kind of respect so that the few rentals that allow dogs don't change their minds! I caution that I write this review and give this property 5 stars in light of the reasonable rental rate and location. If you're looking for a super modern place with Viking appliances, marble floors, and granite counter tops, you're going to need to pay a thousand or two more a week. We don't need that stuff. We just want a very clean place that's well kept and stocked. This home fit that bill perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked (there is a Keurig machine even though the description doesn't say it) and the beds were comfy. There are new TVs in each bedroom but frankly, we took more advantage of the comfy screened porch with two ceiling fans to move the air around a bit. Check-in and check out couldn't have been easier because there's a key code that the agency sends you a few days before you arrive. The property had beach chairs (must've been 6 or 7 of them) all in good condition. There also were 5 or 6 bikes where the chairs were kept but I don't know if renters are allowed to use those. We didn't and rented from Alligator Bikes. If you are permitted to use the bikes I'd recommend bringing WD-40 for the chains, which looked pretty rusty. The beach and pool are less than 10 minute walks but just a couple of minutes by bike. Being very close to Beachwalker Park was also fantastic. The park has amazing facilities that include a place to rinse off pets and pet drinking water stations. If you're renting chairs be sure to plan to use the beach at Boardwalk 1. It's the closest one. The pool facility is really well done and has a shaded deck with rocking chairs that overlook the Kiawah river. Beautiful! The new Cougar Point clubhouse is also a short walk/bike away. Food and sunset dinner views are incredible! So cool to have that facility right around the corner!

Great week in Kiawah

Our 3 generations of family enjoyed our week at this Inlet Cove cottage together! The cottage is exactly as pictured. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed to cook dinners in several nights. The walk to the beach was about 7 minutes for all of us (from the grandparents down to the preschoolers who we pulled in a wagon on the paved beach path). The neighborhood is very nice and quiet with nice amenities including the pool area and view of the Kiawah River. It was also easy to walk to the inlet at the entrance to the neighborhood for some fishing. The location was great for getting to Freshfields Village and Bohicket Marina easily. Our only issue was not having the gate code for the gated community upon arrival. I called the after hours number and someone from the rental agency very promptly contacted me to remedy the situation. The agency was great to work with and easy to reach via email as well. Loved that this was a pet friendly rental. Our dog had a great time walking in the neighborhood and she enjoyed her daily morning walks on the beach. We noticed a few cobwebs on light fixtures and throughout the screened porch, and dust collected on the air duct vent, but everything else in the home was very clean. We encountered some creepy crawlers throughout our stay, but some are to be expected at the beach. We loved the screened porch for coffee in the morning and games at the table on a rainy afternoon, but didn’t want to sit out there at night because of a lot of spiders who showed up once it was dark. Not sure if that’s typical or if some additional pest control could help with that. Overall, an excellent stay in a comfortable home that was close to the top-notch beach for a great price. Perfect Getaway!

This was our first time on Kiawah and didn't know much at all about the island. We had been overwhelmed when looking at rentals before because things are 'East Beach or West Beach' and we didn't know where we wanted to be. We hit the jackpot with this villa, especially for this time of year. The villa itself is exactly as pictured. Very clean, nicely furnished beach rental, well stocked kitchen. We were able to bring our dog but if you didn't have a pet you would never know that this is a pet friendly rental because of the cleanliness. The perks of this rental are the location and all of the toys. The location is just outside of the main gate, an easy drive to Freshfields Market for groceries, restaurants, shopping,etc. , or to Bohickets Marina or to Johns Island. It's also an easy - 5-10 min walk to the beach via a bike pathway and paved road. Don't worry about packing chairs and such and bringing from home because the owners have supplied everything you could think of. There is a beach wagon, beach chairs, boogie boards, toys. There are plenty of bikes to chose from, 3 kayaks with paddles and vests, a grill..... they have really thought of everything. This unit is very close to the Beachwalker Park which is a county run park. There are bathrooms, showers, lifeguards, and all in the same style as Kiawah itself. There is a community pool that is a 5 minute walk, and a community dock on the Kiawah River where we fished and launched the kayaks. Everything has the low profile, natural resort style that Kiawah seems to be known for. There is so much to do here, the beach, walks, bike rides, fishing, birding, golf, tennis, pools, boating,etc. We would definitely stay here again. There are no negatives to this rental !!

A true island getaway for your family

This was an amazing family trip. We unplugged and escaped the crowds. The beach is a short walk/bike ride away as well as the pool. Most days we had the pool to ourselves. Inlet Cove is quiet and private. Be sure to rent bikes to explore the island. So many places to eat (Freshfields Village or around the Kiawah golf courses/resorts). The home is very nice. Comfortable beds, plenty of space, multiple common areas to dine, and beach gear such as chairs and wagon to lug everything around. Perfect! We did not use the kayaks as our children are too young however they looked very nice and we saw tons of kayakers and paddleboarders in the area. We had a great time crabbing and fishing off the dock (we brought our own gear). We hope to return next summer!

Very nice location, very clean and palmetto bug free!

This is a very nice rental property. Close to beach and the Inlet Cove pool. The addition of the kayaks is really nice. The grill is one of the best I have used. Had to contact Sweetgrass about a problem with a lock on the first Sunday in cottage. They responded within an hour!

Perfect Location

Loved this cottage at Inlet Cove. Clean and well-furnished. Rode bikes (provided) and easy access to beach and pool. Hope to come back again!
