Dieses gepflegte Ferienhaus kann als idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ihren Urlaub oder als kleiner "Paradiesfrieden" für die Woche dienen!
Schwimmen Sie am Strand oder genießen Sie die Sonne am Dock. Das Wasser vor dem Grundstück ist flach und perfekt für die Kinder oder diejenigen, die "ihren Weg erleichtern wollen". Ein Picknicktisch steht direkt neben dem Deck für Mahlzeiten im Freien zur Verfügung und es gibt viele Spiele und Filme für Spaß am Abend oder bei Regenwetter. TV, DVD-Player, WLAN und Bluetooth-Lautsprecher sorgen für elektronische Unterhaltung.
Die Miete / Endreinigung beinhaltet alle Bettwäsche (Kissen, Bettwäsche, Decken, Daunendecken und Badetücher).
In der voll ausgestatteten Küche finden Sie alles, was Sie brauchen (auch vorhanden: Spülmittel und Handtücher, Aluminiumfolie, Plastikfolie und Grundgewürze).
Gasgrill an Deck vorhanden.
Gemeinsamer Strand, Dock und Feuerstelle (Holz zur Verfügung gestellt).
Bitte bringen Sie Ihre eigenen Strandtücher und Wasser / Strandspielzeug mit.
Der Platte Lake ist ein 2.500 Hektar großer See mit Seebarsch, Hecht, Zander und Panfisch. Der Platte River befindet sich gleich um die Ecke und ist ideal zum Kajakfahren und Bachfischen.
Zu den Attraktionen in der Umgebung zählen: Sleeping Bear Dunes (20 Minuten), Frankfort (20 Minuten), Traverse City (40 Minuten), Crystal Mountain zum Golfen oder zum Hochtourengehen (20 Minuten) und Cherry Bowl Drive-In (weniger als 5 Minuten). Darüber hinaus viele Strände am Michigansee, Wandern, Einkaufen, Antiquitäten und Erkundung der großartigen lokalen Städte (Frankfort, Beulah, Empire und Glen Arbor).

Nice views off Platte Lake

The stay was easy and the views were good. The cottage is smaller as advertised but was comfortable, cozy, and never felt tight. The waterfront views were amazing. This is the perfect place for a couple (or small family in our case) to experience this part of Michigan at your own pace.

Cozy cottage with a great view

Great location to explore the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Cottage is in a quiet and peaceful setting with a good choice of local eateries. Don’t forget to pick up a cherry pie at the Cherry Hut restaurant in Beulah.

Cute little cottage on a beautiful lake. Great proximity for tubing on the Platte River, Frankfort and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Very clean and host was helpful and easy to work with. Would stay here again.

Cozy Cottage

Wonderful area. Cottage was thoughtfully setup. Right on the water of a beautiful, mostly calm, sandy bottom lake. Plenty to do in the area...we choose to do very little and peace prevailed. May well do it again soon.

Lakefront relaxation

The property is neat and clean with the water's edge just a few steps away. The cottage is small (as advertised) but that is part of the charm and has everything you need for a couple or small family. Besides, you are on the lake and should be outside enjoying the view or the nearby beaches, restaurants, etc. We rented this place because of its proximity to Frankfort Beach which is one of our favorites. The neighbors are friendly and it is a nice quiet place to relax at the end of the day. This was our first time here but we would definitely do it again.

Cozy, Clean and Convenient!

The cottage was immaculate! It is close to the lake so it felt private. The lake is shallow, my 10 and 8 year olds were only hip deep off the dock. Nice sandy bottom. The kids loved the bunkbed and we all enjoyed the comfy couch and dvd player! Area is wonderful, owner is very helpful...hard to beat!! Only down side was the lack of a closet in the kid's room.

Cozy waterfront cabin

My husband and I rented this cozy cabin on Big Platte Lake. It was close to Sleeping Bear Dunes which we visited on one day of our stay. The second day was spent in our small boat fishing on the lake. The cabin is the closest of 6 to the water with beautiful sunsets. It has a well-stocked kitchen, an outdoor gas grill, movies and games to enjoy in the evening. I enjoyed reading a large supply of travel magazines. Melissa was easy to communicate with and a friendly host. We would definitely rent again.

Clean, beautiful, cabin with great views!

We were so impressed with how clean and updated this cabin was! The attention to detail was noticed and appreciated. Hooks and stools in all the right places made it easy to live in this small cabin with 4 moms for the week. The beds and linens were so comfortable- all 4 of us will be inquiring where to purchase them for our own homes. We loved the proximity to the water and the dock just steps from our door. I would highly recommend this cottage for a girls getaway or a small family who wants the convince of a house with a full kitchen. Loved it and will definitely be back!

Quaint and perfect

We rented this property for Ironman race weekend. It was right in front of the water and easy to get to the dock to swim. The area was quiet and we had a nice view of the sunset. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and it was just the right size for our family of 3. Melissa was very responsive if we had any questions!

The cottage was clean and had great supplies of kitchen and linen items. Parking is a problem if all the cabins in the group are occupied for anyone with a boat and truck and trailer. The tandem parking area is misleading. Great sunset views and a nice little beach area is available.

Great location for relaxation and exploration

This cottage was perfect for my family of four. We arrived to a very clean and tidy space that was exactly as described. The cottage is small but we never felt cramped. We spent a lot of our time on the deck that faces the lake, eating at the picnic table and watching the sunset from the dock. Their are shared common areas with the other cottages but everyiwas friendly and respectful of quiet hours. The location was very convenient to explore the Sleeping Bear Dunes and the surrounding lake towns. We all very much enjoyed our time here.

Lovey little waterfront cottage

This cottage was just perfect for our stay. It was furnished with everything that you could need. I enjoyed many evening sunsets from the deck and listening to the waves lap the sandy beach. This cottage shares the beach front and community property. Communication with the owner was effortless. She is very responsive. We didn't have any issues during our stay!

Too small for four

The cabin was too small to comfortably accommodate four people. It should be listed to accommodate two. We had to leave our vacation early because of the tight quarters. The rental contact would not offer a partial refund. Furthermore, there was swimmers itch in the lake which we weren’t told about until it was too late to find a new place to go.
