After renting this house for five summers we loved it so much we bought it. We hope you enjoy the property as much as we do!
The ground floor offers a large open plan space featuring a fully equipped kitchen plus living and dining areas. The full length windows let you enjoy the morning sunshine while the beautiful dining area enjoys the softer, late evening sunshine. There is also a downstairs bathroom and shower room.
Upstairs are three generous double bedrooms, each with a balcony while the master bedroom has a large en-suite. There is a further family bathroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning.
Located on the end of a terrace, the property benefits from sunshine on three sides. The back of the house has a good seating area for the morning sunshine next to the pool which is bigger than most. A well kept garden on the west side of the property allows sun worshippers to enjoy the afternoon and evening sunshine and is the ideal spot for that evening drink before wandering down to one of Burgau's many excellent restaurants.
The house is on the eastern side of the village as you enter from Luz. The beach is a 5 minute amble down the hill and the convenience store a 3 minute stroll. The cliff walks are easily accessed for spectacular walks east to Luz or west towards Salema.
Further afield, there are wonderful beaches each with their own beach bar selling glorious dishes of freshly caught fish. The western points of Sagres and Cap St Vincent are an easy 20 minute drive with the internationally acclaimed surf along the western coast.
To the north, the historic villages of Monchique and Silves and Lagos to the west provide historians with miles of cobbled streets to wander.
The spacious accommodation provides a very comfortable base from which to enjoy this quiet, but spectacular corner of mainland Europe and all its alluring charms.
