Très bel endroit avec vue sur les montagnes
Le chalet est très bien placé avec une vue très belle sur les montagnes. Peu de remarques, tout était top hormis quelques matériels à renouveler qui ne fonctionnaient pas très bien: les plaques cuisson, le four met beaucoup de temps à chauffer, la douche (l'eau sort par la porte vitree), et il faudrait laisser au moins un placard vide pour l'alimentation générale, pas de congélateur non plus. Les escaliers pour aller et venir au chalet nous ont fait faire du sport mais ca ne nous deplait pas ! 😃

Tranquil chalet
We had a lovely stay in Jos' chalet. The house is well equipped and in the most beautiful setting. The chalet is lovely and cosy and to wake up to the most beautiful view of the other mountains was a delight. Please note there are quite a few steps to the property but this wasn't an issue for us. Jos has been an excellent host as this holiday was due to happen last year but due to covid we had to postpone with restrictions out of our control but the whole time Jos was fully understanding and an excellent, all round, friendly host. Thank you!

Une belle semaine en montagne
Le chalet est situé un petit peu dehors de la station, qui est très agréable. C'est très calme est nous avons profité de manger dehors tous les jours. La cuisine est bien équipée. Il faut juste savoir qu'on ne gare pas la voiture à côté du chalet. Il faut descendre les bagages de la route vers le chalet (escalier + sentier). Ce n'est pas un problème, mais c'est mieux d'éviter des valises trop lourdes :)

Super cozy chalet
Le chalet est vraiment cozy et agréable à vivre, avec deux WC et deux salles de bains, les pièces à vivre sont spacieuses. Nous étions 7 au total, nous occupions les 3 chambres du bas et une personne occupait la mezzanine. Je pense qu'on peut rester confortable à 8 personnes sans soucis, peut être que 10 personnes ça devient beaucoup. Il y a un téléski en haut des escaliers qui vous mène aux télécabines. Nous laissions les skis dans la voiture dans le parking couvert juste à côté du téléski pour ne pas devoir les descendre au chalet. La station est sympa il y a 3, 4 restos, attention réservez pour le vendredi soir, La Potée Oz, le Poutran et la Ferme d'Oz sont les 3 qu'on a fait tous très correct, La causerie à également bonne réputation. Nous avons loué nos skis à la Cabane à Ski, pas cher et bon matos donc je conseille également. Merci à Jos. On retient l'adresse pour une prochaine fois!

Nice and comfortable Chalet, but no ski-in ski-out
Very warm chalet, fully equipped, cosy, nice garden and lovely fireplace. At last a chalet in France were people who like to cook together have the equipment to do so! The owner is easy to contact and very helpful, thanks Jos. As we rented the chalet based on a ski-in - ski-out search, the location was not exactly what we expected. Some basic condition required here! It was quit a walk to make to get to the lifts after climbing 127 stairs. However, renting ski-lockers near the lifts helped to make this more comfortable. The views from the terrace were spectacular and we had a splendid holiday all together.

Great chalet
We had a great time in Oz. The chalet was excellent for our needs. We were a group of eight (two families) with grown-up children aged 22, 21, 18 and 16. The climb to the ski school and ski lifts in the morning could be a challenge for young children but it was OK for us. The owner Jos was very easy to deal with and the local managers are very helpful.

Perfect Chalet
The chalet was in a great location with stunning views, we couldn't of asked for more. It took less then a minuet to walk to the closet ski lift and only a few minuets to walk into the village centre. The chalet itself is very clean and has everything you could ask for. ski trip with friends
Just got back from a fabulous trip with friends to this chalet. It was exactly as stated. Spacious, clean, well equipped and warm. Yes it was a little tiring walking up the steps to the slopes but you need to warm up before skiing. We also rented out a ski locker at Skiset opposite the ski pass office which helped. Owner was great in dealing with reservation, always quick to respond to any emails and helpful. We ate in most nights as the chalet was so comfortable were happy to spend time in it. When we did eat out it was at La Causiere and Le Potee Oz both of which were excellent. Love Oz en Oisans, it has so much to offer to all level of skier/boarder. It was particularly good for those of our party who had never skied before as nursery slope at resort level so free and use of couple of drag lifts for 10 euro a day helped to build confidence. I would definitely recommend this chalet to anyone travelling to this resort and hope to return to it again myself

Great stay in oz-en-oisans (alpe d'huez)
Well equipped chalet nearby to the lift in oz, the first chair lift is a few minutes away. We stayed with a group of 8 people which was fine and found the chalet well equipped, more than 8 might become a bit of a squeeze. Nearby is a parking garage (extra parking card is €40/Week, one card is included). In the village is a baker, sherpa and several ski rental shops. Loading/unloading may be a bit chaotic on arrival/departure as the chalet is in a car free area but the rest of the week this isn't an issue. Overall a great stay and everything was as described. Jos and his property manager were very helpful with any inquiries.

Eine tolle Unterkunft
Wir waren mit 7 Personen für eine Woche zum Skifahren in Alpe d'Huez. Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage zum Skigebiet. Es hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung und alles ist sauber. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hat alle Informationen immer sofort geliefert. Die Betreuung vor Ort ist super und unkompliziert. Wir können das Haus nur bestens empfehlen.

Spacious, cosy well equipped. Highly recommended.
We, that is 5 adults and 4 children, enjoyed staying in this property very much. It had plenty of space, lovely wooden beams, showers which stayed hot, free wifi (kids were pleased), lots of areas to store sledges and ski clobber. Griet, the manager, was very helpful and available when we arrived, and it was all clean and tidy. Loved the fact that Oz was quite compact, so it was easy to get from the ski hire to the shops to the restaurants and the ski lifts. The local people were very friendly. There was something for everyone on the ski pistes, ranging from lots of greens and blues for the kids, to some very challenging blacks, and everything inbetween. Some minor points: it would have been nice to have a few shelves in the bedroom wardrobes or on the walls for storage. In the kitchen perhaps a cheese grater and a Fondue and or Raclette set would have been good. The only slight downside for us was the location. It was close enough to the car park where we could store skis overnight in the car and from there it was not very far to the ski school (the lifts helped the little people get up there more easily). However, it was not quite close enough to the ski piste for us to make it worthwhile coming back for lunch. This would have been fine for adults and older children.

Séjour très sympa, seul point négatif : le fait que ce chalet était situé tout en bas, non accessible par la route donc nous avions plusieurs chemins et escaliers à descendre et à remonter tous les jours, pas pratique pour les nombreuses valises et si on revient tous les midis ...

A lovely chalet, very conveniently positioned
The chalet is spacious, warm and very well equipped. There's plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and the kitchen has everything needed for a large group to cater for themselves. The village with a good mini-supermarket and restaurants and bars is a short walk. If there had been more snow we could have skied almost back to the chalet but even with the nursery slopes without snow it's a short ( although uphill) walk to the lifts. The owner and the chalet manager were both helpful and efficient. We hope to visit again.

Chalet sympa dans une station sympa
Oz est une station qui est en lien direct avec l Alpes d Huez. Parfait pour le Vtt et les balades. Le chalet est parfaitement équipé. Nous étions une dizaine, et avons passé un très bon moment. L organisation est bonne et Jos attentif aux besoins de ses locataires. Je recommande.

Very cozy chalet close to the Clos du Pre teleski
Things we liked: - The chalet is close (5 minutes walking) to a short teleski that takes you directly to the Poutrain ski lift up to the main Alpe d'Huez ski area. There's another ski lift close to that (Alpette) to the Vaujany area - several good beginner slopes there. - The living room in the chalet is extremely nice: big fireplace, well equipped kitchen, big dining table, tv, cozy chairs. It was a pleasure relaxing there and watching the winter olympics after each day of skiing. - We appreciated the Internet connection in the chalet, it is a welcomed difference from the other ones I've stayed. - The heating system was excellent: floor heating almost everywhere in the house provided most of the heat and plenty of electric radiators provided the rest. If that's not enough for some, making a fire should cover all other needs. - Two toilets and two bathrooms means there's never a long wait to shower or Things we didn't like: - The three bedrooms are fairly small, but still enough for sleeping. Things that could be improved: - better door isolation against noise: someone moving around the chalet could be clearly heard by everyone. Isolating bands around the door frames and door sills or something similar would help with removing that noise. - it would be nice if towels and bed sheets were included. Overall, I would definitely recommend this chalet to anyone looking for accommodation in Oz. Mr. Van Oosten and his manager were very friendly and helpful.

Stunning and relaxing holiday.
We had the great pleasure of enjoying 2 weeks holiday at this chalet in August and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The chalet is extremely well equipped and very comfortable with all you need to make your holiday stress free and relaxing. It was great to have the balcony and the decked area of eat al fresco. There was so much to do during the summer that we were extremely surprised and all pretty close to the resort. We celebrated 2 birthdays while we were there which will be forever in our memories. Holiday
Great place for a ski-trip, not to crowded, and everything nearby. The chalet was great, enough space and and everything there what was needed. Skiing during the day and after enjoying the sun with a drink. The chalet was very clean and everthing looked like new. Something I really could appreciate. Also the village was just a few minutes walking, with some nice pubs and restaurants. Definitively consider this place on my next trip. Greetings

Fairytale
We went last December with our closest friends and we had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect, the snow, the facilities, breathtaking nature and skiing facilities beyond imagination. Hundreds of miles of ski routes. The chalet was everything we could wish for in this romantic scenery. The owner was most friendly and helpful. He assured us that the chalet was equipped with all comforts and that proved to be an understatement. It was a very comfortable stay. We will return for sure. We had a perfect holiday. Very recommendable.

Excellent chalet and a wonderful family holiday
We arrived, to a lovely clean chalet, with plenty of space for our 2 families and kids ! the chalet had gorgeous views and was situated on the side of the mountain so we had no noise from traffic or noisy apres skiers, it was perfect. Our rep (Griet) was great, she looked after us the whole week, from advice over the baker that delivers fresh bread to your door every morning :) or to replace a lightbulb, nothing was too much trouble. the village has everything you need for a week's holiday, the ski schools are well organised, the day care centre is superb and the supermarket and shops carry everything you could possibly need. the skiing is also excellent, enough challenging black pistes for the advanced skier but lots of lovely green pistes for the not so advanced !!! all in all a wonderful week away, in a lovely chalet, we travelled with 4 adults, 2 toddlers (3yr and 4yr) and a 8month old baby - and we all had a great time. We will be returning soon The de Korte family (Zevenbergen, Holland)

Good Times
I have stayed in this chalet with friends and family every year since 2002. The chalet is very comfortable and warm, after a day's skiing it is very nice to relax at home. The village, on walking distance offers several locations to have a nice dinner or something more simple like a pizza. The ski area varies from easygoing to quite steep and although I know my way now I still find it exciting to be here. Hans Schaap, Holland.
