Bottom line, this place met our needs and delighted us in some ways if not all. Highlight was the Monti location, close to so much--sites, food, drink, transport--on a quiet street/building. I can recommend it as an easy, welcoming, functional base if you don’t seek upscale or want to lounge in a common area as a group.
Other likes: easy, helpful check-in (thank you, Manuela!), comfy beds in a quiet 2BR w an extra bed, wifi, & decent rates for Rome. Cleaning seemed fine. Good AC: the apartment managed to stay cool despite hot weather. We appreciated touches like coffee, tea, etc.
Cons for us: It’s a basement apartment wo much natural light or much of a comfy living area to hang out--not so important if you’re on the go day into eve. Despite the fun & upbeat art and bright feel in the photos, the apartment felt gloomy and could use some renovation (looking at you, shower grout).
Tips: My fave drink in Rome was from Cabaret Voltaire Roma, a small, artsy place just down the street with a lovely host who cared about making a drink we would enjoy. For a bustling piazza vibe, pop down to p della Madonna for a snack or aperitivo.
