Derryguaig ist eine wundervolle Ferienwohnung in idealer Lage am Wasser in Tighnabruaich an der geheimen Küste von Argyll. Dieses charmante Ferienhaus im Erdgeschoss bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick über die Kyles of Bute und verfügt über zwei geräumige Schlafzimmer.

Ideal für eine kleine Familie oder zwei Paare, die sich entspannen und diese besondere Region genießen möchten. Die Lage und der Blick über die Kyles of Bute sind ein Highlight.

Innere
Das einladende Wohnzimmer ist geräumig und hell mit deckenhohen Fenstern, um den spektakulären Blick auf das Meer und darüber hinaus zu genießen. Mit einem Holzofen für gemütliche Nächte und bequemen Sofas. Ein wunderbarer Raum, um sich zurückzulehnen und bei einem Glas Wein die sich ständig ändernde Aussicht zu genießen.

Die Küche ist modern und sehr gut ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Theke, einen Elektroherd, ein Kochfeld, eine Mikrowelle, einen Geschirrspüler und einen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach. Von der Küche aus gibt es einen wunderschönen Wintergarten mit Blick auf den Garten. Dies wird als Esszimmer genutzt.

Schlafzimmer
Mit zwei gut ausgestatteten Schlafzimmern, einem großzügigen Master-Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick und einem Zweibettzimmer. Ein zusätzliches Klappbett ist für ein Kind oder einen kleinen Erwachsenen erhältlich. Das Familienbad verfügt über eine luxuriöse Badewanne, eine separate Duschkabine und eine Toilette. Es gibt eine zusätzliche Toilette auf dem Flur.

Mit einem schönen Vorgarten und außergewöhnlichem Meerblick ist dies der perfekte Ort, um zu sein. Nur ein paar Schritte entfernt befindet sich die Hauptstraße von Tighnabruaich, wo Sie lokales Kunsthandwerk, Cafés und einladende Pubs finden.

Lovely stay by the sea

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Everything had been well thought out and the lovely welcome pack was much appreciated. The location is perfect for sightseeing on the secret coast and also travelling across to Bute for the day on the ferry. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and would love to return some day.

Total relaxation

We had a wonderful stay, so relaxing in an amazingly well equipped apartment with everything you could think of provided in spacious rooms. The location was excellent with easy parking in a quiet village and spectacular views. Definitely somewhere to return and explore local area some more.

Derryguaig by the sea

Lovely ground floor accommodation in a great location close to lots of local amenities. Lucky enough to have had good weather for most of the week and spent relaxing afternoons in the garden watching activity of the boats and taking in the view while enjoying coffee or a glass of wine before dinner. Very well equiped kitchen with a most welcome basket of goodies. Second time staying at Derryguaig and will definitely be back!

Stunning location.

An absolutely lovely place to stay. Right on the shore of the Kyles of Bute. I stayed with a friend and our dogs. The welcome food hamper was a really nice touch with essentials for the first night and morning. The living room is massive and looks over the Kyle’s with Bute over the water. Everything works well and just lots of nice touches you don’t normally get in a self catering let. I highly recommend and hope to return…

We had an amazing stay at Derryguaig the property have everything you could need and more. The weather was kind to us and we had some nice sunshine which made the views over the Kyles of Bute even better! There was also a lovely welcome basket which was much appreciated especially by our Golden Retriever Riley when she realised there was also treats for her lol Would highly recommend

Good memories

Once again a great stay. Thankyou so much for enabling this. It is such an elderly friendly property and I know my parents both loved it. Despite biblical levels of rain on one day, we got out and about. Even in winter there is lots of places to go and NO midges! We also enjoyed watching the RNLI jetty wobbling madly in the waves. Hoping to return in the early summer (someone has to feed those midges) though, sadly, this will be without mum and dad.

Easter Family Break

Lovely few days at Derryguaig, great property for 2 adults, teenager and a dog. House had everything we needed, very well equipped. Really comfy and lovely views out over the Kyles of Bute. Nice Friday night dinner at the Tighnabruaich hotel and fab lunch at The Oystercatcher in Otter Ferry, well worth the trip and lovely swim in the loch after. Visit to Ostel Bay and nice lunch at Botanica in the Barn after and a day trip to Bute. Would highly recommend the house and the area.

Comfortable house, great views.

The flat is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We were also greeted with a food basket and fresh flowers. The view of the water and the island of Bute was great. The small village and its inhabitants are lovely and the walks are beautiful. The only drawback: The mattresses were not that comfortable for our standards. All in all, a very nice time.

Tighnabruaich- a small gem.

A very relaxed and homley feel to the area and the house.a great little gift on arrival made us feelspecial after our long journey. the only downside was about Tighnabruaich in that it had ammeneties and shopping had seen better days,(could have been covid) made sure i did my research on fuel prices and found a great deal on prices at Cot Services near Dunoon.

One of the best

We have stayed in holiday homes for many years and Derryguaig is one of the most comfortable and well equiped in an amazing location. It was spotlessly clean, bed and bedding comfortable and good quality. Plenty of kitchen crockery and kitchenware, the extras like toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, cleaning aids etc. were most generous. We enjoyed sitting out in the sunny front garden watching the world go by, the boats and the birds. Mustn't forget our morning visitor, a roe deer coming down for breakfast.

Another lovely holiday

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Derryguaig and it did not disappoint. This year we even had good weather except the last day, although the down side was that the midges and clegs were out in force. The village was very quiet, even for June but fishing, walking, kayaking, paddle boarding were excellent all week. Missed seeing the Waverley this year though I believe she is back on the Clyde again at the end of the month. Shame the Gluepot and Royal have got so dear these days. Glad the Tinny still keeping the faith.

Wonderful Christmas at Derryguaig

We had a wonderful stay at Derryguaig by the sea over the festive period. The house was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The owner was fab and always on hand if needed. Return visit to our favourite place.

This is our fourth stay at Derryguaig by the sea since 2020...we simply love this property. The views, walks nearby, beaches, cycling routes-the list is endless... but nothing beats the feeling of home on each return visit. The property is well equipped with everything you need, a wonderful multi-fuel fire, gardens to front and rear and i have to say very welcoming locals. We will definitely return.

A fantastic place to stay

We had a brilliant two weeks at Derryguaig and we couldn't recommend it higher. The location is great, close to the shops, cafes and pubs, and close enough to the water so we could swim most days, and watch otters, dolphins and a wide variety of bird and boat life from the front garden or front room. The house was much bigger than we expected, beds were very comfortable, WiFi was excellent, and it was very well equipped, we could not think of anything that was missing. The owners were very helpful and understanding, so all in all heartily recommended.

Beautiful location and property

We have stayed in this property twice and both times it has exceeded our expectations. Great facilities at the property and wonderful views overlooking a peaceful loch. Great place for a quiet relaxing break, with lots to do in the surrounding area.
