Willkommen in "Das Künstlerhaus" !! Malerisches historisches Haus mit schönen lokalen Kunstwerken in einer ruhigen Lewes Street. Nur zwei Blocks zu den Geschäften und Restaurants der Innenstadt und eine kurze Fahrt nach Lewes Beach.

Der erste Stock hat den Wohnbereich, große offene Küche und Esszimmer sowie ein Schlafzimmer und ein komplettes Badezimmer. Zwei weitere Schlafzimmer und ein WC sind auf der zweiten Etage. Schlafen insgesamt f��r sechs.

Dieses Haus ist für Mini-Wochenaufenthalte von Freitag bis Montag oder von Montag bis Freitag verfügbar. Es kann auch wöchentlich von Freitag bis Freitag gemietet werden. Fragen Sie Ihren Agenten nach Einzelheiten.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house and location. Our second time renting. Property description is accurate. The house is rundown and the overall cleanliness is not good. It's a comfortable house but needs a lot of TLC. Owners live outside the DelMarVa area and they rely on locals and real estate company to maintain which is not happening unless a tenant gives feedback. Our first year we gave feedback and hoped for a better experience the second time but not the case. Love the house/location but for the money we won't be returning. I would not recommend unless the issues are rectified.

Quality of furnishings throughout was poor and uncomfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances. Washer could not accommodate towels. Construction each day adjacent to the sliding glass doors, porch area. Porch was in ill repair.

Cute cottage, amazing location

Absolutely loved this neighborhood and location for our stay! Two blocks from downtown shops and restaurants, bike trails, and about a mile from the beach, surrounded by 1700s-era homes and churches. The cottage is spacious with a modern kitchen and lots of seating (both indoor and outdoor). Property manager was excellent and extremely attentive to our questions/needs. Our only complaints were that the children’s (twin) mattresses were not comfortable and could really use replaced. Also, the living room furniture could use an upgrade (and the addition of a couch versus just a love seat). The way it is currently set up, it’s really hard to sit and actually see the small TV. The room is spacious, so the furniture could also be reconfigured for better flow. Finally, the VRBO listing says it has a on-site parking, but there is only street parking at this property — and the street space directly in front of this home is marked as handicapped. It would be more transparent to explain this in the listing, especially for the higher price point of this rental during peak season. Overall, we liked this property and were pleased with our stay.

Great house, but falls short

The house is adorable and location is great. The booking and communication process with the realtor was frustrating, they wouldn’t communicate through messages. Everything is done outside of Vrbo, and I struggled to connect with the office. I wish there was a keyless entry vs having to pick up and drop off keys, plus it would be safer. The a/c doesn’t work properly. It was almost 100 degrees outside and the house wouldn’t cool down during the day. At night it got cold, but then quit working during the day and the temps inside rose to 80 degrees. Incredibly frustrating. We chose to pay for the linen rental, kind of a pain. Plus, the check-out process required a hefty list of work that had to be done. The front entry had a sewage smell every time someone took a shower, not ideal. Again the house was cute, but left us disappointed overall. We most likely will not stay here again.

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament. The weekend was short but the property was lovely and in a great location. Property was also well equipped. Would recommend and certainly stay again in the future.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay at the Artist's Cottage! The house is delightful and very comfortable with an incredibly well stocked kitchen. First floor living was great with the young adult kids upstairs. The location is just perfect for walks and bike rides and taking in the charm of the town and surroundings. Perfect house to stay in, highly recommend!!

It was comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained and upon our arrival we were welcomed by an adorable surprise at the top of the stairs (I won’t spoil it). The location was perfect - a short walk into town, close to a neighborhood park, and we enjoyed walking the streets and seeing the beautiful historic homes. It is also walking distance to MANY great restaurants, although Heirloom was amazing! Make a reservation in advance!

We rented in February ‘22, assuming it would be quiet. Had no idea demolition would be going on in the back yard! Assume new build will occur soon! The property itself does not have an attentive cleaning company. Musty/mold odors in laundry/bath/front bedroom. Numerous kitchen items dirty or unusable. No hairdryer!

Lovely House - Great Stay

The house is just lovely and the listing accurately portrays the size and amenities. It’s very comfortable, bright, sunny, and well appointed. The patios are a wonderful feature. Easy check in/out. The location can’t be beat. On a quiet street, ample street parking, a sort stroll into town for dinner. We enjoyed every minute and plan to rent again.

Comfy home located close to downtown Lewes

This cozy, comfortable home is located conveniently to downtown Lewes in a lovely neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well maintained and comfy, but be aware that there's a low ceiling at the top of the stairs, so upstairs guests need to watch bumping heads. Outdoor sitting areas are nice and beach chairs are provided. Overall a very nice location and a lovely home.

Great location and cute property

Very nice location in Lewes - walk to everything! Small cottage on a quiet street, which was perfect for the 3 of us. Larger groups might feel cramped unless you are not spending a lot of time here during the day. The checkin process is with a local realtor rather than getting a key code, which is different than I’m used to. Also, linens were an additional charge so we opted to bring out own. I guess this is common with beach rentals, but not anything I’ve encountered with other VRBOs. The house was well decorated and maintained, but the kitchen wasn’t as clean as other places I’ve stayed (dirty oven and some drawers had crumbs in them). Everything else was great and we would consider staying here again when in Lewes.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful time as a family here. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything. We cooked breakfast and lunch here. The open living/kitchen/dining area was beautiful and functional. The outdoor shower was perfect to rinse away the sand. Each evening we walked to town for dinner. The stay could not have been better. Thank you!
