Die Wohnung bietet einen fantastischen Blick auf das Meer und ist nicht nur ideal für einen romantischen Urlaub, sondern auch für einen Familienurlaub. Es ist ideal gelegen, 10 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, aber ohne Lärm und auch 10 Minuten von Argostoli und Lassi. Es wird zu den hohen Standards geliefert, die Sie erwarten würden.
Dieses Apartment verfügt über einen Essbereich im Innenbereich für 6 Personen und einen Essbereich im Freien für 6 Personen auf dem Balkon mit Poolblick. Der private Pool- und Grillbereich wird mit dem Apartment oben geteilt.
In der Villa gibt es ein Bügeleisen / -brett, eine Waschmaschine und einen Geschirrspüler sowie eine Mikrowelle.
Kalligata: Die Villa Millianna befindet sich im malerischen Dorf Kalligata. Ein Schwerpunkt ist Marina's Bar im Zentrum von Kourkoumalata. In der Umgebung gibt es Obst- und Olivenbäume, die dem Ort ein sehr ionisches Flair verleihen. Weinberge sind überall zu sehen, wie Sie entdecken werden, da dies die Heimat des Weinguts Calliga war, das ein Favorit für die Robola-Weine war. Sie werden die weiße Kirche sehen, die von Einheimischen und Urlaubern genutzt wird, sowie den Kinderspielplatz in der Nähe, ideal für die jüngere Generation.
Nur 15 Gehminuten entfernt befindet sich der Strand von Avithos mit Blick auf Zakynthos und Dhias. Hier finden Sie zwei schöne Bar / Restaurant für Erfrischungen. Der Besitzer der 'Preview' stellt seinen eigenen Wein her, auf den er sehr stolz ist. Sie sollten ein oder zwei Flaschen in der Villa zum Probieren finden. Auch hier gibt es einen Internetzugang, falls Sie E-Mails usw. abrufen möchten.
Umgebung: Für Ihren Aufenthalt in Kefalonia wird ein Auto empfohlen. Alternativ gibt es einen englischsprachigen Taxiservice: Flughafen - 10 Minuten, Argostoli - 15 Minuten. Argostoli ist die Hauptstadt der Insel und hat den schönsten Platz mit vielen Bars und Restaurants zur Auswahl. Rund um den Platz gibt es Läden für die Damen (und Herren) mit einem Auge für ein Schnäppchen. Lassi - 10 Minuten. Hier ist einer der schönsten Strände der Gegend. Wenn Sie sich verwöhnen möchten, stehen unter Ihnen Wassersportarten für Energiefreunde zur Verfügung. Das Nachtleben hier ist für alle Altersgruppen geeignet und sehr entspannt. Mrytos Beach - 50 Minuten. Fiscardo - 65 Minuten.
Ein beliebter Ferienort im Norden der Insel. Assos - 60 Minuten. Eine wunderschöne Bucht mit urigen Restaurants am Wasser. Agia Efimia - 60 Minuten, Scala - 60 Minuten.

Tolle Unterkunft

Alles hat gepasst. Die Küche hatte alles was man so braucht und die Lage ist fantastisch. Der nächstgelegene Strand ist wunderschön und sogar zu Fuß zu erreichen (15 Minuten). Mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten. Die Gastgeberin Nikki ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Herausragend

Eine sehr schöne und neue Wohnung, die genau den Fotos und der Beschreibung entspricht. Vor allem die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Da die Villa in einer kleinen Seitenstrasse liegt, hilft es bei der ersten Anfahrt, ihren Namen in google maps einzugeben. Vermieterin Niki war für für Fragen jederzeit zu erreichen. Wirklich herausragend !

Home away from Home

This is the 2nd time of staying here and it was like coming home! It was lovely to meet Nikki who was on hand easily over txt for any questions. The apartment is clean, well stocked and just so lovely! A car is a must by the way!! We will absolutely be back again! Thanks Nikki!!

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Millianna, the apartment was spacious clean and tasteful and had everything we could need during our stay as a self catering accommodation. Niki was extremely helpful and on hand at any point to answer any questions we might have. We holidayed for 10 days with my 8 and 6 year old. We would recommend hiring a car to stay here as although we walked to several restaurants, travelling further afield requires a vehicle, and it is well worth exploring the rest of the island!

Fabulous Villa

Beautiful villa, clean and spacious, lovely furniture and fittings, everything you could need for a stay, home from home. Garden and pool view fantastic we spent hours sat around the pool and ate every meal on the balcony, good charcoal bbq, location very rural, few minutes from pretty village, we didn't hire a car, walked alternate days to the beach and lunch or one of the many restaurants for an evening meal, Niki is a great host, was in constant contact

Great property in an ideal location

A well presented property in an ideal location being close to the Airport and within easy reach of Argostoli and the Lassi region. Great base from which to explore the island and a real home from home. Property has everything you could wish for, was presented to a high standard and we would certainly recommend to our friends and family. We had a great week with fabulous weather and met some great new friends. We will be back.

Villa Millania is perfect for a quiet family holiday.

Having never been to Kefalonia we have left desperate to return! We love the islands quiet and chilled vibe and the ease that you can get around. I’d recommend a car!! The villa was stunning, it had everything we needed for our 10 days holiday and Niki was on hand to answer any questions. We cannot wait to come back next year!! It’s perfect for children (ours are 8 & 12) but would also suit friends etc. there are lots of nice restaurants about a 5 minute drive away by avithos beach and also towards Helios (restaurants right under the flight path which the kids loved!). The villa is very close to the airport but the planes do not cause any disruption at all! A perfect getaway for the first time since covid and we couldn’t have picked a better place!! Thanks again Niki!

This is a lovely villa, well equipped with beautiful views and conveniently located for airport. Perfect holiday!

We have just returned from a 1 week stay at the beautiful Villa Millianna with our 3 children age 10, 6 and 2. This villa has everything you could ask for in a holiday with all the home comforts you could think of provided. The owners Vincent and Denise were amazing hosts - they met us at the airport, entertained the kids while hire car was being sorted (Denise taught the kids some basic Greek phrases), took us to the villa and even took my husband on a tour of the local area to ensure we knew how to get to the local beach etc.... The villa itself was immaculate on arrival. Very nicely furnished, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Within minutes of arriving the kids were in the pool and spent many an hour in it thereafter! When we managed to drag them away from the pool we enjoyed afternoons at the local Avithos beach and went slightly further afield to visit the Mellisani Cave lake and also Antisamos bay which was a great spot for snorkeling. We spent most evenings with a glass of the local Robola wine in hand and made use of the poolside bbq. We did venture out one evening to the local Avithos Taverna where we enjoyed a lovely meal in the Company of the local cats which the kids thought was great! We look forward to returning to this beautiful island in the future.

Great Villa

Stayed here beginning of May and had a wonderful holiday, should have stayed two weeks ! The villa is lovely, the owners Denise and Vin met us at airport and we were soon chatting like old friends. The local restaurants were very good. This was our first visit to Kefalonia but not our last as we loved it.

Magical Holiday

We had the most amazing two weeks at the villa Millianna. It was perfect. What a lovely clean stylish villa with a perfect size pool and we made good use fo the BBQ too. The local restaurants were lovely, we especially liked Preview at Avithos beach and Elionas. Lovely visits to Myrtos beach and Assos and many other hidden treasures to see. We will certainly come again and stay at millianna it is a great location. Thank you Denise and Vin for such a wonderful stay and for being so helpful, everything was just so easy thanks to you. Great Place to Relax

Just come back from an 11 day stay in Villa Milliana with my wife and 2 kids (11 and 13). The villa is exactly as described on the Owners Direct website - very nicely furnished, fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine) and most importantly of all (for the kids at least), a good wi-fi connection! There are 2 bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower room and a twin, both have lots of cupboard and drawer space (plus a safe in the double bedroom). There is a further shower room, and a large kitchen/dining and sitting room area, leading out to the outside seating area and the pool. The pool is shared with the upstairs apartment, has plenty of sunbeds and parasols and is a good size - we spent hours in it, just lazing around. The villa is fully air-conditioned, and there are ceiling fans in the double bedroom and the sitting room area. There are a local English couple who come in to clean the pool and the apartment (and do linen changes), they kept the place spotless and were a great source of local information. The owners also popped in to check we were settled in and everything was as expected. The villa is in quite a quiet area of the island, which is what we wanted, with a 20 minute walk one way to Avithos beach (where there are 2 restaurants and a bar), and a 15 minute walk the other way to several other restaurants/bars and a well stocked mini market. Argostoli is an easy 20 minute drive away, and the airport is about 15 minutes drive away (no problem with aircraft noise though, even though it is relatively close). There are loads of other restaurants a short drive away, and many places to visit are also easy to reach. I'd say you need a car to get the best out of your holiday, but I think that applies to staying anywhere on the island - it's a great place to drive around, especially the coast/mountain route to Assos. I would recommend Villa Milliana - it'a lovely property, the owners couldn't have been more helpful, and it has beautiful views to the sea that you can gaze on whilst you're chilling by the pool!

Villa deliziosa e proprietari anche!

Abbiamo trascorso una sola settimana a Villa Millianna e siamo rimasti del tutto soddisfatti. Abbiamo trovato una villa ordinata e pulita, del tutto coerente con le foto pubblicate. La cucina era fornitissima in quanto utensili, stoviglie, etc. e l'utilizzo in comune della piscina non ci ha creato nessun problema. Gli ambienti erano insonorizzati bene in quanto non ci accorgevamo nemmeno di avere qualcuno al piano di sopra. Se proprio devo trovare un neo, abbiamo dovuto richiedere noi il cambio degli asciugamani (poi fatto tempestivamente) sebbene ci fosse scritto che a metà soggiorno fosse previsto. Ringraziamo Denise and Vincent i quali sono stati davvero ospitali.

Simply Excellent

A (good) sob story... In 2010 we had a difficult time in Kefalonia due to petrol shortages (like not having any) and a teenage daughter who feel and had a leg in plaster, however the saving grace was the very well appointed Villa Millianna in Kalagata. So much so we returned (with petrol and leg not in plaster) to Villa Millianna this summer (2011). With stunning views of the bay from the pool, beautiful sunny weather (but not too hot), restaurants close by or a short car journey away and decent local beaches we had a very relaxing and enjoyable weeks holiday. The villa upstairs is very separate, although you do share the swimming pool. we have not found this an issue, plenty of sun lounges! It is a very simple 10 minute drive to the airport, supermarkets are again a 10 minute drive or a 15 walk for the mini mart, and you can reach the 'capital' Argostoli in 20 minutes (the hospital staff are very friendly!) The only drawback is that you do need a car to get around, but this is true for most Greek islands. Try the day boat trip to Ithaca from Sami or Skala (lovely beach), visit Fiscardo in the North and Assos on the way back (amazing views in the mountains and superb beach) , eat Kleftiko and drink the house white wine. The best restuarant IMO is The Olive Grove (Espirades i think) - details are at the Villa, but also try Preview down by the beach as a short walk there (further back due to the hill). There are many others around and you won't be disappointed. I would recommend Villa Millanna to families and couples alike, we've had two lovely holidays and hope to have more in the future.

A home away from home!

As soon as we walked into Villa Millianna it felt like we at home and we had no problems settling in! The Villa offers everything you expect of a luxury villa, with a spacious kitchen, two fantastic bathrooms and a two balconies that offer spectacular sea views over the nearby olive groves and vinyards. The swimming pool is great for kids as it is quite shallow, and the poolside always has sunlight for people looking to top up their tans! The Villa is perfectly situated for nearby amenities such as local shops, restaurants, beaches and a variety of historical and geographical sites that are must see's. Just a 10 minute walk down the drive to the left of the Villa leads you to Avithos beach which is one of the best on the island. It offers a family friendly beach and crystal clear sea which is very safe to swim in due to its shallow nature. Avithos also offers a great beach bar and two great restaurants called Enetiko and Preview. I would particuarly reccommend these if you want to sample the beast local cuisine and seafood. The calamari at Preview is particuarly good with an ice cold pint of Mythos! Other places that are great are Maccies (great chicken pita wraps) and Adonis (cakes and ice cream that are out of this world), both situated a 5 minute drive uphill to the nearby village of Lakithra If you hire a car ( which i would really reccommend if you want to see all of this spectacular island) a short drive up the road will lead you to the island's capital Argostoli. It offers a wide range of shops, markets, cafes and restaurants. If you are very lucky you may even spot some of the turtles that nest around the harbour side. Other must see's are Myrtos beach which is rated as one of the top 10 beaches in the world. If you follow the coastal road round you will then reach the beautiful fishing village of Assos, and the 'St Tropez of Kefalonia' Fiskardo. It takes about an hour to get there, but offers unforgettable views of the whole island. We also visited Sami, and the nearby caves which are well worth a visit. Just a 15 minute drive away is Castro, a castle on a hill that offers great views and a great cafe! This is without a doubt the best accomodation I have stayed in on the island and we will be returning next year! Family Hoilday

What a fantastic villa!We enjoyed two weeks here,the first week together with our grandaughter and her mum and dad.The views from here are quite stunning.Looking out to sea where ships pass.Don't forget your binocs!The pool is quite safe for young children,as Mia, our g'daughter discovered very quickly.She spent so much time in there,as did we all. Nearby Avithos beach has two excellent tavernas and a beach bar.This beach is not particularly child friendly,but seek out Trapazaki and Spartia for them and the Lassi peninsular for teens where they will find an abundance of water sports available plus a rather nice beach bar where a wide variety of drinks and snacks help the day go by.There is much to see on this beautiful island,our fourth visit. The villa was very clean and comfortable with an excellent kitchen. We also used the BBQ. Queiries were dealt with promtly by a telephone call. Barely 10 mins. from the airport,the villa is set in a very peaceful area with lots of green countryside between it and the coast. There are several steps up from the car park which we did not find a problem. We are 64 and 71! There is an excellent local restaurant too for that special evening dinner.Set in beautiful gardens.It's called The Orange Tree.Quite delightful. All in all,a highly recommended villa which we hope to return to again.

Three peaceful weeks with family and friends...

We spent a really nice holiday in Villa Millianna the last 3 weeks of August 2009. The Villa is fully equipped, situated in a very beautiful location, so close to many nice beaches: you can easily reach Avithos, Ammes, Ai-Helis, Minies beaches, Ag. Thomas, the little Spartia and Pessada beaches... Dining in Kefalonia: in Argostoli port, PortSide (in front of Port Authority at the end of the seaside promenade): try the fantastic grilled octopus! If you don't care driving a bit, there's a lovely fish tavern in Ag. Kiriaki: you can only eat their fishing of the day! On the little beach of Ag. Thomas (end of the road on left) there is a terrace on the sea: the owner is Alexandros, You must try the best stuffed tomatoes (Ghemistà) and the best fried cod-fish served with smashed garlic potatoes (bakalado-skordalià) of the entire island. Don't miss having a BBQ party beside the pool at night: the air in Kaligata is fresh and flavoured, and you'll find everything you need inside the Villa! We hope to be back very soon: Villa Millianna, we already miss you!

Fantastic Villa and Island

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Villa Millianna and have had the Holiday of a lifetime. Our 2 boys and their friend spent hours in the Beautiful pool with its fantastic views. Angela the property Manager was very helpful. The Villa is immaculate and perfect for a base to enjoy the Beaches, Scenary and Restaraunts of Kefallonia. We would certainly give the villa, for anyone who wanted it, a great reference and hope to visit there again in the future. Mark, Wendy and the boys

Five Star Villa in a Five Star Location!

We have been to many greek islands but always return to Kefalonia which is our favourite. We spent two weeks at Villa Millianna which has first class facilities, is absolutely immaculate and has beautiful views, you really cannot wish for more. Every attention to detail has been thought of to make your stay here perfect by the owners who were extremely helpful from first enquiry to coming home. For the first week of our holiday we did not venture far as the villa is in such a beautiful location to destress and unwind and we had our evening meals on the patio looking out to sea. The patio and pool area are lovely and our 11 year old daughter only came out of the pool to eat and sleep! Once you are chilled and ready to explore (and after a few nights looking at the view with a glass of wine in hand you will be!) there is lots to see and do on the island and also close by. There are a couple of excellent restaurants within walking distance and also a beautiful beach or you can drive there within a few minutes. The location of the villa is great for reaching any part of the island. An absolutely perfect place to stay.
