Fantastic Flat with a View

Beautiful flat with all the amenities. Close to all the main attraction and shopping. coffee and pastries on every corner. Stayed with family while visiting sons in Barcelona. Highly recommend.

Great location - charming apartment

We stayed for a month and really enjoyed the apartment. You cannot beat the location - 700ft from Passieg de Gracia train station and easy subway links. The apartment is not as luxurious as the photos suggest - no robes, slippers or fluffy towels! Could do with a lick of paint and some overall maintenance and small repairs. But none of this hindered our stay. We loved the amount of space and the indoor patio. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen had all we needed. A bluetooth speaker was provided on request.

Fabulous apartment & use for seeing Barcelona

We made day trips every day and the location allowed for many of them to be walking. Neighborhood has everything you need from groceries, restaurants to bakeries.

Fabulous location!

Great decor and fabulous location! What we loved most was the glassed-in lounge/sunroom for morning coffee and an afternoon glass of wine. The flat is only one block from Casa Batlló, loads of shopping, and so many great restaurants! Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect place to stay!!

**Review of VRBO** I recently stayed at an amazing VRBO property that exceeded all my expectations. The location was perfect, providing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Our host was exceptional—she communicated effectively and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. One of my favorite features was the enclosed balcony, which was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and unwinding during the evenings. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare breakfast and enjoy meals together. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better host or a more delightful place to stay. I highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!

Great flat and great location!

Very spacious flat in a fabulous location! We enjoyed sitting on the enclosed veranda, having our coffee and wine for happy hour. The beds were very comfortable and having 2 bathrooms a plus. I would highly recommend this vrbo.

GP weekend stay

The property was in a great location and the host was really helpful including making restaurant recommendations. The apartment is lovely but not as ‘luxury’ as suggested in the narrative or on the photos. It’s a little dated and could do with a spruce up which would make a massive difference. As in an earlier review some doors don’t close properly, crockery and glasses don’t match, towels and laundry are poor quality. We did enjoy our stay though and the style of the apartment is lovely.

Exceeded the photographs.

We loved this place and will be excited to have others we tell stay there. Enjoyed the art, modern furnishings, and especially the size and floorplan-- hard to fully appreciate that from the photographs. If I lived in Barcelona, this would be what I would want to live in. Safe neighborhood, close to cab stand and great restaurants and just a few blocks from the Casa Battlo.

Girls trip

Apartment was in an amazing location close to restaurants, shopping and the supermarket. Communication with the property manager was easy. She also supplied us with restaurant recommendations. The second bathroom is more of a bathtub. The shower is a little bit awkward, but not a reason to not rent this apartment. The apartment was super clean and we truly enjoyed our stay in Barcelona!

Excellent location but you need to be flexible to live in there

They do not provide shower gel/shampoo but those were not on their essential list and I didn't aware of that. The kitchen napkin was almost finished and there were no extra roll in the cabinet. They don't have blanket on the bed but just the flat sheet. I found the blankets in the cabinet but both have blood stains on it. There are like 8-10 steps at the entrance to the elevator so you will need to carry your luggages up. Other than that, the location is excellent and convenient. A/C and wifi were good. The host was very helpful and friendly.

Fabulous

The layout of this property and location were fabulous for the two of us. Heike was very responsive and pleasant to interact with. She even received important mail for us during our 6 week stay. The indoor balcony was such a treat for people and bird watching while sipping a morning coffee or a evening wine and staying cool. Unfortunately the dryer did not work properly during our stay but we got by with air drying. The dining room furniture is in need of replacement, but overall we were delighted with our stay and look forward to staying long term again! Thanks Heike for your hospitality.

Great Location

The property is in a perfect location for enjoying Barcelona. There is plenty of space within the apartment and the outdoor balcony was a nice place to see the pace of the city. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were incredibly soundproof. The air conditioning was excellent. You should know that there is one bathroom with a shower only and the other bathroom has a soaking tub with no shower, although there is a handheld wand, the management was very quick to respond to problems that we had. My only complaint would be that there was lack of supplies for the apartment. There was no soap for the bathrooms, and there was only a very small amount of dish cleaning soap. There was only one pod given for the washing machine . There were a few coffee pods for the coffee machine, but no other items such as sugar, etc. There were some minimal kitchen supplies such as salt and a little bit of cooking oil but again very limited. We were at this apartment for more than 10 days and had to buy those supplies. The apartment is very convenient and close to many small markets and restaurants. The El Corte Inglés department store is about four or five blocks away and has an excellent American style supermarket in the lower level. There is also a fresh fruit and vegetable market approximately four blocks from the apartment heading down Valencia. Heike, the manager, was very helpful and responsive with any problems that we had. Would stay here again.

Underwhelming three-star

Solid 3-star rental. The "Vela" suite (one of many in bldg by same owner)--is NOT "luxury". PROS: - Good location near main attractions, high-end shopping, good restaurants/bakeries - soundproofed street noise - Clean CONS - Spacious for old bldg but in dire need of overhaul. Per other reviews, it's not like photos/desc. Furniture is ragged, amenities are mismatched & chipped flea-market quality. - Much is broken. Closets/doors don't close, things fall off wall, plaster flakes off ceiling, paint is chipped, torn curtains don't close, pillows/mattresses are worn & lumpy, bed linens are old & shabby. First-world problems yes--but they're charging top dollar for a "luxury" listing. - Only ONE SHOWER, despite advertising two. 2nd bathroom only has a tub with handheld wand. - Frugal owners provided as few essentials as possible, of lowest quality. As other reviews say, you're rationed 2 measly pods for dishwasher and washing machine, scant rolls of TP, all is meagre, cheap, watered-down. Def not the Bulgari pictured! When things run out (quickly), you must buy your own. Some rentals do operate this way, but not pricey "luxury" ones. There's an air of stinginess/disregard--almost contempt for renter. - Physical essentials are lacking. Nowhere to put shampoo/cond besides floor, nowhere to hang towels to dry (unless it's cold enough for the towel heater to kick in -- but it was too warm a season for us). Nice appartement at a great location

The apartment had everything we needed for a family of 4, well furnished and nicely decorated. We mostly appreciated the small balcony where we would drink coffee and read a book. The location is ideal ; lots of shopping and restaurants only a few meters away. The metro station is only a couple of blocks away, which we would use to go to the beach or other great Barcelona neighborhoods were only a few metro stations away. Their is also a stop for the hop on hop off bus near by. I would definitely recommend this appartement.

L’appartement de Heike est très bien situé et fidèle aux photos.

L’appartement est vaste et il y a de belles fenêtres donnant sur la rue qui sont hermétiques au bruit. Le baie window est un endroit sympathique pour lire ou relaxer.
