Lebe in modernem Komfort und erlebe einfachere Zeiten, in denen sich die Familie zusammen versammelt hat, um im kühlen Wasser bis zum Tag zu spritzen und am Abend ein Lagerfeuer zu faulenzen. Oder nehmen Sie Ihre Schnellboot oder Jetski für einen schnellen Spaß in der Sonne.

Hier gibt es genügend Platz, um hier zu spielen und einen Pier zum Ansteuern an Ihr eigenes Boot, Kajak oder Jetski. Genießen Sie die herrliche Aussicht auf den See von der Terrasse an der Spitze des Hügels (noch nicht gebaut) Oder entspannen Sie sich am See auf der Veranda mit öffnet sich aus dem unteren Ebene Schlafzimmer. Crooked Lake ist ein 802 Hektar großer Ski-See mit viel Bass, Zander, beschissen und Bluegill. Es gibt eine öffentliche Bootsrampe im Steuben County Park oder Boote können am Casey's Cove Marina für eine kleine Gebühr gestartet werden. Das untere ebene Schlafzimmer, das durch eine enge Wendeltreppe erreicht wird, hat 2 Einzelbetten und ein Vollbad mit Dusche. Das halbe Bad befindet sich auf der Hauptniveau aus der Küche.

Wedding Weekend at Crooked Lake

This cottage was the perfect location for extended family who came to attend a wedding held lake side just across the lake. Crooked Lake is a beautiful setting and this house is a gem!

Great Get-a-Way

This house has old world charm and the amenities to make for a comfortable get a way. It is exactly as advertised. Plenty of amazing lake views. Central air keeps the house cool on the warmer days. The deck is wonderful for gatherings. There is a perfect view of the sandbar to watch the boaters gather and people watch. Several restaurants, bars, markets, etc. within a convenient 10 minute drive. The host is very prompt with responses. You can't go wrong with this place!

Small lakeside cottage with outstanding outdoor space

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Lakefront setting is quiet and beautiful. Decks and dock are fantastic! We ate all our meals outside on the top deck. Boat rental was a short walk down the street, plus there were lots of other outdoor activities in the area. Inside there is not much storage for food, clothing, etc, and bathrooms are tiny with only one shower. However, we weren’t inside much because the location was ideal! Kids enjoyed the newer, comfy family room furniture and smart tv when we weren’t outside. Owners were easy to contact and helpful. Overall a great vacation!

A Perfect Week of Relaxation

This property absolutely took me back to the lake cottages of my youth. Quaint, but with just the right amount of modern convenience and peaceful treehouse views. Our hosts were easy to contact and quick to reply. Mattresses were high quality and the furniture was comfy. We enjoyed all the great spaces to drink coffee and serve meals outside. It was our ideal summer vacation. We can’t wait to come back.

It's my fault for not asking more questions. Very nice place but not kid friendly at all. Only one shower for eight people was not good. The winding staircase was very difficult to navigate. Small refrigerator so we had to pack it and then our food froze. It was also hard to sit around the firepit as it was on an incline. As I said...my fault for not doing more research on this property.

Quaint and well maintained lake house with vintage vibes

Comfortable house with all the amenities you could want for a relaxing getaway! Five minute drive to Caruso's Italian for dinner out and The Social for ice cream. Plenty of room indoors and outside for our 3 cars, 5 adults and a 3 year old. It would easily sleep 8 in the comfortable beds. The porch off the downstairs bedroom is a perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon naps and evening nightcaps. The firepit was ideal for making smores. The lake was beautiful, quiet and shallow enough at the dock for little ones and grown ups to wade in. Note that there are a lot of inside and outside stairs, so I wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues. All in all, its a perfect place to enjoy a quiet lake getaway!

Great Week at River Rock Cottage!

Our family got together at this beautiful cottage for the week. Beautiful view of Crooked Lake. They had very nice amenities within the cottage. Pier was available for our boat and nice little swim area. We would definitely stay here again!

Story book cottage!

True Lake Cottage

When I was a child my family visited Crooked lake often. We stayed in a cottage. As soon as I walked through the door of RRC I was immediately reminded of my childhood. This place is amazing it has the updates for a family living in 2020, but still maintains a true cottage feeling. We can not wait to go back. Beach is shallow, and good for swimming. Parents may want to get little ones swim shoes because it is a little rocky.

Wonderful vacation

Had a great time! Cottage was super clean, beds were comfy! Awesome swimming spot and great decks for grilling and watching all the lake activity. Communication with owners is super, they are easily accessible and fast to respond. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend River Rock Cottage!

Great Place; Great Location

My family totally enjoyed the experience of this rental. It is a beautiful, noticeable structure. I have been familiar with Crooked Lake for 25 years. This home is one that always grabbed my attention when driving by. Inside was nice and worked out well for my wife, son, son's girlfriend, and my parents. Plus, the pier worked out well for our speed boat. Great location, as well. We could easily kayak to the "Sand Bar" and join this popular party spot.

An oasis in a world of turmoil

What a charming home! Quiet neighborhood Exceptionally clean and well appointed cottage . The water was refreshing and the lake front perfect for our grandkids to swim. We rented a pontoon boat at the local marina and made good use of the dock. Dinners on the deck and quality family time. No mention of pandemics and no masks in sight. This was a wonderful opportunity to relax & reset .. we came away with happy memories. Thanks!

Family Vacation

I grew up in Angola and still have family there. My son and family from Virginia stayed at the lake with us this week and we had more family members staying elsewhere in the area. We really enjoyed this home - it was clean and nice. Lake has really nice swimming area for the kids - big area of shallow water for younger children. We brought a boat and used the dock for that too. It was a nice place for our family.

Summer Family Vacation

We enjoyed our time very much at River rock cottage this summer. It was our first time visiting crooked Lake and the cottage and we would definitely return. Charlie and I live in Fort Wayne, where I am a full-time realtor and he is retired. Together we love to cook, practice crafty cocktails and travel, frequently in VRBOs.

As long time lovers of the Crooked Lake community and owner of another property, this was the "if it ever goes on the market, we'll just go look" house! And it was just too special to pass up! As only the third owner since being built in 1913, we feel very fortunate to be able to not only enjoy it ourselves, but share this beautiful piece of history with others.
