Geräumiges 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bad, im Stil der 60er Jahre erbautes Strandhäuschen im Herzen von Topsail Beach. Schlaf 4-6 mit Futon in der hinteren Höhle. Der Zugang zum Strand, Geschäfte, Restaurants, Pub, Angelpier, Minigolf, Rollschuhlaufen und der Zugang zum Sound sind bequem zu Fuß. Helle, offene Räume mit vielen Fenstern lassen Sie sich ausbreiten und genießen Sie Ihren Urlaub. Für 6 Personen mit einem Kingsize-Bett, einem Queensize-Bett und einem Futon in voller Größe in der hinteren Höhle. Fun Topsail House

Overall, enjoyed the stay. It's close to the beach, has a fenced-in yard, decently-equipped kitchen, lots of sitting areas, fast internet, and a cool roof deck. Surrounding area was a bit unsightly, but not a big deal.

Great for dogs

We really enjoyed our stay here. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dogs. We usually stay a bit closer to the beach, but the location was nice and quiet and not having to walk the dogs every time they needed to go out certainly made up for the fact that we had to walk 2 blocks to the beach. We will likely be back next year.

Quiet Retreat

The house is located close to everything. It is a very nice quiet location. The roller-skating rink is a throwback to years gone by and we had a great time playing Bingo! We hope to make it back in the near future.

Beach Stay

We loved the property- it had everything you need and extra of everything. Having access to the laundry units made for a clean and sand-free trip home. This was the first vacation rental we've had where we didnt have to clean the entire property plus pay a hefty cleaning fee. Very easy check-in and check-out process. The walk to the beach, food, coffee and/or night entertainment all under 5 minutes.

Wonderful location and great outdoor spaces!

Clean and cute beach house. Loved the multiple decks which gave options for being outside in the shade or sun and in or out of the wind. Easy walk to the local shops/restaurants, beach or sound. Would recommend to others and would stay here again!

Doggie Happy at the Beach

Fenced backyard is the main reason for our choosing this place... made life so much easier than having to go up and down steps with them on a leash. My only somewhat of a complaint... the yard/grass really needed attention. If I would have had access to a mower I would have mowed it the tall grass when we first arrived. By the end of our week it was in desperate need of a cutting. (even my dogs avoided parts of the yard due to the tall/thick grass) Enuf said about that... Otherwise... We plan to reserve again and again. Thank You!

Excellent getaway

My husband, myself and 2 small dogs had a wonderful time staying here! The fenced in back yard was perfect for the fur babies! Very short walk to the beach and the restaurants. We didn’t drive anywhere the days we were there, except to get groceries on the first day. It was a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing vacation that was much needed! Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need as far as dishwater and cooking items. Overall, it was wonderful!

Great place

Overall stay was great. The place is older but still decorated very cutely. I didn’t feel it was the cleanest it could be. Dust and dirt in corners around baseboards dust on ceiling fans, toilets could have been cleaner. All the kitchen essentials were also older and some of the spatulas and kitchen utensils could use an update but other than that there’s really no complaints. Owners answered any questions we had. Loved how we could walk to coffee shops, restaurants, ice cream places and the beach access is super close. Rooftop porch had a wonderful view we loved sitting up there in the evenings. It’s also a quiet area at night so we could sleep. Would definitely stay again!

Cute & Convenient Cottage

I chose this property because of the character of it and the beachy feel it has. It did not disappoint. It is all one level so easy to move around it. It is well maintained and very clean. It is very well stocked with whatever utensils and such you might need. Paper products were provided. it is more spacious than it looks. 2 bedrooms and a futon in the family room . 2 bathrooms. Also, within walking distance to all restaurants, shops, and the beach in Topsail which was real nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Myers Cottage and will plan to stay there again in the future. I highly recommend this cottage for your next vacay. You won't be disappointed!

Just Perfect

The location of the cottage is perfect. It’s in short walking distance to everything. We were right in the middle of all the fun stuff. We loved the bay views and watching the sunset from the top deck. The kids loved that all the fun activities were in all sides of the cottage in walking distance. The beach was not crowded at all and it was such a short walk. We loved that the house is set up to accommodate dogs. We never had to worry about them getting loose. Such a nice neighborhood to walk them in. We would definitely stay again!!

We were looking for a pet friendly property at the beach. There aren't many. I would describe the property as rustic . Everything worked. Our dog loved the large fenced backyard. Nice covered front porch. Floors were wood and a mite uneven but not a problem. It was quiet and thats what we were looking for. Would stay there again in February.

Relaxing Getaway

We had so much fun during our week at the Myers Cottage! We love the location as it is a very short walking distance from The Breezeway Restaurant, The Assembly Building (where we had fun playing Bingo on Thursday night), and Four Cousins Ice Cream (where we had delicious ice cream each night :) It is a short walking distance to the public access, but it is also very easy to drive and park (for free) in parking spaces right by the public beach access. We loved sitting on the deck in the evenings to watch the sunset. The home had everything that we needed and it was a very comfortable stay. We don't have any dogs now, but we know that our dear dogs of the past would have enjoyed their stay, including the fenced-in yard. Communication was excellent!

Great location but house could use an update

We loved the location of the house! We were a little disappointed and off put by the amount of cockroaches we spotted in the house, we were killing between 3-5 a day. I messaged the host about it on Vrbo and never heard back and that was also disappointing. Additionally, a lot of the dishes in the kitchen cabinets were dirty and had little dead bugs in them. I felt like we cleaned more on the trip than we relaxed. I wouldn't stay here again.

Okay, but will avoid next time

Dusty musty and lumpy. House was okay but not that clean. Only comfortable place to sit or rest was a dirty recliner (sofa and beds are uncomfortable). The amount of work they expect the guest to do before checking out I have never experienced (and the fees if you do not do the work are ridiculous, and makes you wonder what the cleaning person actually does). Location is great, but not worth the price of this rental.

Relaxing, pet friendly cottage

The house was clean and had enough space for our family and our two dogs. It's a classic old beach cottage with charm. The kitchen had all the necessary pots/pans and dishes for cooking and eating at home. We brought all of our food and there was plenty of pantry storage and a big refrigerator. The walk to the beach was short and easy. Our street was very quiet and safe and we were within walking distance to everything we needed. It rained off and on each day of our stay and the cottage was cozy for reading, games,and watching movies between visits to the beach. The fenced yard was a bonus, but we did have to watch our curious dogs closely since they tried to get under the house and outbuilding. The big front window is a dog's dream spot!

If you’re like me, you know the difference between TB and TI and you are specifically looking for a rental on the south end. I’ve been coming to TB since the 70s and love that it hasn’t lost its laid back charm of an old school beach town. This is a classic Topsail Beach cottage in beautiful condition within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and the sound. This house is very comfortable and includes everything that a typical beach rental has, but with some added perks like cozy sitting areas, a loft to watch sunsets, a grill and a back area to the house that was perfect for my teens to hangout. Huge backyard. Carol was unbelievably helpful, which was so much better than dealing with an agency. It was a perfect rental experience. I was sad to leave and hope to return soon.

Great location! The house could use some attention.

This house is adorable and perfectly situated right in Topsail, within walking distance of everything. There are multiple great outdoor spaces, including a large fenced-in yard for your pup. Our only complaint was with the cleanliness of the property. We understood it was an older cottage when we booked it and didn't expect anything glamourous, nor did we want a super fancy property that we had to tip-toe around.... however, the house was very dusty and didn't appear to have been cleaned thoroughly after the last guests. There was dust on most surfaces (like the lampshades had a coat of fur and the bases were covered in a layer of dust), weird spots on the furniture, and most of the dishes had a filmy residue and fingerprints, so we rewashed everything before use. Overall, it was just a little grimy and not the most comfortable for relaxing, especially if you're stuck indoors with poor weather. Fortunately, we spent most of our time outside the cottage on the porch and decks and exploring the area. If this property was given a little TLC and thoroughly cleaned between guests, I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Cottage Stay

Our cottage stay was awesome! The Owners were accommodating, extremely responsive, and provided ample upfront info! We traveled with our 2 Jack Russell Terriers; arrived a couple of days after Christmas, stayed through New Year's Eve, then departed on New Year's Day. It is a great cottage! It's eclectically decorated, clean, and well-stocked. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, a microwave, and a dishwasher (super convenient!). We made ourselves at home, cooked breakfast every morning, then explored! There is in-house laundry, plenty of pantry storage; full-size fridge too! The walk to the beach is 5 minutes; several Public Access points; views of the ICWW; you can hear the waves and smell the ocean. There is no ocean-view (we knew this prior to arriving); however, the Fenced-in Yard totally made up for the missing ocean-view because we did not have to leash our dogs every time they needed potty breaks. Super-awesome! We brought our own linens/towels because we've done this a few times and already had them. We brought our Roku for movies. It was just the 2 of us, so we ate in the 2-person dinette table; however, if you're a family, you may need to sit separately. Overall, we had excellent weather and had such a pleasant/relaxing time. We would love to go back!

My two passions are enjoying the salt air & sand with a beautiful day on the beach with friends and my chihuahuas Lily & Tinsel, and riding & showing my walking horses in gaited dressage. Combining the two for a beach horseback ride during the off-season (October to March) is what makes this island so special to me. Coming up over the dune on my horse for a south-end beach ride with friends never gets old. If we are not on the island, we are probably at the farm on the mainland. Topsail Island is an amazing place, from the sound to the ocean, it is my happy place and I hope it becomes yours too.

Keith grew up coming to the area as a small child and introduced me to the island. I have loved our little beach cottage, and the location in the middle of town, from the day we found it. We were able to visit often enough that we made many good friends and new "family" here and watched our children grow up with other children who visited and lived on the island. Keith and I have always had dogs, and bringing them on our vacations is part of our lifestyle. We wanted to share that opportunity with others, since so many people have fur babies that are an important part of their lives.

Pet friendly! We travel with our dogs, from horse shows nationally, to New Orleans, to the Florida Keys, our chihuahuas come with us. Finding safe, pet friendly, affordable places to stay is always part of our planning and not always easy to find. I wanted to share that opportunity with other responsible pet owners so that they can bring their dogs with them on vacation. Having finished up our first vacation rental season 2017, I have to say that pet guests are the best! I couldn't have asked for nicer, more caring guests in our cottage, and I hope you all come back in 2018.
