Die wunderschöne Ferienwohnung Bay Retreat befindet sich in erstklassiger Lage mit teilweise Meerblick. Es gibt außerdem eine schöne Gemeinschaftsterrasse mit tollem Panoramablick auf das Meer entlang der Bucht von St Ives und noch weiter. Der perfekte Ort für Paare und Familien, die einen entspannten und luxuriösen Urlaub mit Selbstverpflegung zu jeder Jahreszeit genießen möchen.

Die Ferienwohnung ist hell und freundlich. Der zentrale Flur hat Türen, durch die man in einen offenen Wohnbereich kommt, der über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Essbereich und eine gemütliche Lounge verfügt, die Luxus versprüht. Hauptbadezimmer mit Badewanne, Dusche, WC, Waschbecken und beheiztem Handtuchhalter. Wunderschönes Hauptschlafzimmer und 2. Schlafzimmer mit Twinbetten.

Außen befindet sich eine wunderschöne, geräumige Gemeinschaftsterrasse mit beachtlichem Blick auf das Meer und die Küste. Perfekt zum Entspannen mit einem guten Buch oder um den Sonnenuntergang zu bestaunen. Außerdem wird ein privater Parkplatz zur Verfügung gestellt.

Bay Retreat ist ein Spitzenferienhaus mit Selbstverpflegung und ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung toller Sehenswürdigkeiten, die Cornwall zu bieten hat.

Annehmlichkeiten vor Ort: Tesco ist der nächstgelegene Supermarkt und weniger als 5 Minuten mit dem Auto über die A3074 nach St Ives entfernt. Es gibt auch Banken, Frisöre, eine Apotheke, eine Post, Zeitungs- und Gemischtwarenläden, alles in Gehentfernung. Auf dem Weg zum Strand gibt es ein Café, ein Geschäft und mehrere Essensmöglichkeiten.

Attraktionen: Ideal für Paare und kleine Familien. Carbis Bay bietet von allem das Beste. Die ruhige und friedliche Atmosphäre von Compass Point und dabei nur ein Katzensprung von der pulsierenden Stadt St Ives entfernt.
Etwas weiter entfernt liegen Penzance, der St Michael's Mount, Land's End, die wunderschöne Siedlung Sennen Cove zum Surfen sowie Padstock (Kochkurse mit Rick Stein), Port Isaac (Drehort der TV-Show Doc Martin), Newquay (Wasserwelt) & St Austell (Botanischer Garten Eden Project). Alle Orte sind mit Auto oder Zug leicht zu erreichen.

This was our second time to the property. Perfect location for Carbis bay with it's beautiful beach and train to st Ives, with all the amenities it offers. The apartment is perfect for a small family, recently renovated.

Modern Apartment in Carbis Bay Complex

Small, modern, bright and fully equipped apartment some three hundred metres from the beach. We took the apartment for a week at the very start of the season and found it to be an excellent base from which to visit the St. Ives area of Cornwall. The apartment was very clean, had wi-fi, a smart tv, washing machine, dishwasher and (pod) coffee machine. During our stay we communicated with both the owner and the lady who manages the property and found both to be polite, understanding and extremely helpful.

Week in cornwall

Location to Carbis bay beach superb and with rail service to St ives 200 yards away fantastic access to town with no parking problems. Apartment ideal for 3-4 adults and Lucy was timely in all comms. Early check out for COVID was not great so we left early pm a day early and spent the afternoon in North Cornwall so not a problem for us.

Lovely clean apartment in a great location. Would certainly recommend staying here.

We stayed in cornwall for our first time with our two children aged 7 & 4. Before arriving Lucy communicated with us via email in regards to our stay which I found very helpful. Upon arrival we were greeted with a very very clean and tidy apartment with lovely fresh towels and bedding. Everything you could need for your holiday was in the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a washing machine and dishwasher. The location of the apartment was fantastic. Very short walk to a lovely clean beach and next to the train station. St Ives is only a train stop away or short drive. You can also walk there via the coastal walk which was lovely to do and the views were amazing. There was lots to do in cornwall and using the apartment as a base worked perfect for us. I wold highly recommend staying here.

Good quality appartment (well equipped)

The bath in the bathroom was not useable during our 10 day visit. The plumber didn't fix the bath faucet, he made a temporary fix so we were able to use the shower, but didn't return to make the bath faucet useable. The appartment is very damp when using the indoors bathroom, there are not enough ventilation options available. (bathroom ventilator and open windows are not sufficient enough) Too much notices, friendly notices and guidelines around the appartment (every wall and the information map is covered with this information) Nevertheless the appartment is well situated nearby the railway station for a visit to St. Ives (3 mins walk) and the beach (after a steep downhill, don't forget the steep uphill back, walk), we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend visiting St. Ives for a holiday

A beautiful restful place to stay

We enjoyed our week here. The flat was modern and comfortable with everything we needed. Lucy was very helpful and friendly. We found the little branch line train very useful and rarely took the car although we visited many local places. The only slight reservations were that we understood all flats had a view across the sea - ours was in the second row back. The on line photo was unclear. Secondly there was nothing local - no cafe, no shop, nothing within a 20 minute uphill walk. So it was supermarket shopping :( This aside we would thoroughly recommend Compass Point.

Great base for exploring west Cornwall

Perfect for what we needed for a relaxing week. Very comfortable, clean and close to Carbis Bay beach. Well equipped kitchen for when we wanted to eat in. We met Lucy when we arrived and she was very welcoming and helpful with ideas of where to visit. St Ives is close by and quite walkable along the coast path or you can take the train (3 mins) for £1! Location is great for exploring much of west Cornwall with many stunning beaches, coves and coastal walks all within about 40 mins drive.

Good for the Soul

Excellent location overlooking the breathtaking views of Carbis Bay. Well equipped apartment with all you need to make your stay very comfortable, fluffy white towels and bed linen provided as well as household items, washing up liquid etc. Good bed and excellent shower. Close to railway that's one stop away to St Ives for £1 per adult or a picturesque 20 minute walk. Great cliff walk to Porthkidney beach on your doorstep. Close by is the Carbus Bay Hotel for fab food and wine, worth the hilly walk back home! I came home recharged and rested.
