Wir mögen dieses Paradies zu nennen! Die Hauptkabine umfasst ein Solarium für die Vogelbeobachtung und echten Rock Kamin. Blick mit Feuerstelle, Schaukel und Belag auf den See wunderschön gestalteten. Das Gästehaus verfügt über eine Whirlpool-Badewanne, ein Spielzimmer und eine eigene Terrasse. Bunkhouse ist ideal für Kinder oder diejenigen, die Privatsphäre wünschen. Alle drei verfügen über Wärme, Klimaanlage und Internet und direktes Fernsehen. Gazebo hat einen Whirlpool. Der vordere Rasen ist groß genug für Rasenspiele oder einfach nur abhängen. Ein Kanu wird mitgeliefert und ein Ponton kann gemietet werden. Angeln für northerns, Glasaugen und panfish sind gut direkt aus dem Dock. Schwimmen Sie das Ende des Dock oder den Kopf einfach um die Ecke für öffentlichen Sandstrand. Zur Ausstattung gehören zwei voll ausgestattete Küchen, Direct TV und Internet, drei Kühlschränke und zwei Sätze Frontlader. Die Eigentümer, Mark und Kathy, wohnen auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite in der sogenannten "Kuriositätskabine", in der Sie und Ihre Familie ein kostenloses Mal- oder Musikerlebnis erhalten können. Wir freuen uns auf Ihren Aufenthalt! Wir geben Pausen für längere Aufenthalte und berechnen keine zusätzlichen Reinigungskosten. Wir lieben es, neue Leute kennenzulernen!

A great weekend stay

We had a great time over Labor Day weekend. House was well appointed and comfortable. There was plenty of space for us all to spread out. Game room and hot tub were awesome! Mark was a great host. I highly recommend stopping over at the Curiosity Cabin. Mark gave us a painting lesson, it was very fun! Can't wait to go back again

Paradise for sure

We had our two children and our five grandkids, and it was truly a memorable experience for us all. Probably the best part was Curiosity Cabin. Mark had the grandkids form a band. He taught them how to play the drums, guitar, tamborine,piano, and even an instrument that you didn't even have to touch to play! He also had the kids make a painting that turned out wonderful. They were very proud to take it home. Their curiosity was definitely peaked! The Gameroom was a big hit for the kids and adults alike. The bonfires and sunsets were magical. Everything was as represented. We brought our pontoon and the only downside of bringing your own boat is that Mark requires that it be taken out each night which was a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, we enjoyed Paradise and the memories that were created.

Annual Family Summer Getaway

We stayed with our adult son and daughter and their families (10 total). It was great to have the various areas, for both hanging out and sleeping, with younger children. The pontoon boat was a great option for our larger group. Thank you, Mark, for your hospitality. It was great to meet you and your family!

Family vacation

We have a large family of 11 from age 7-43. We enjoyed our stay very much! We rented the pontoon and enjoyed a beach day. Game room and hot tub were used a lot! We had a great time!

Great for multi-age group!

We had a group of 12 stay at Mark’s place on Diamond Lake. He was very accommodating to our group as we all came from different directions meeting for a long weekend family gathering. We were able to fit 8 vehicles with space across at Mark’s place. And you must visit his Curiosity Cabin. He jammed with my 12yr old son on the drums and piano and handed our nephew a fancy bass guitar to play, who had never held a guitar before but now wants to take lessons! Mark’s energy and friendliness was enjoyed. The rain kept us off the lake at times but we throughly enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Great spaces over all for large groups, elementary ages, high school, college, young adult, middle age up to grandma at 71. We all enjoyed our time!

Paradise stay

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. This is a very nice location. Many games to play for both young and old. Many amenities with a cozy cabin, guesthouse and bunkhouse. Host was very generous and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great place to stay

Our family of twelve thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were enough beds, the property is well-maintained, and Mark is a super host. We also rented the pontoon; it worked perfectly and we had a lot of fun on the water. We would definitely stay here again!

So much variety for all ages.

We 6 adults hardly had to entertain our teenagers as there was so much to do. The game room kept them so busy we hardly saw them except at eating times. As adults, there was the pontoon, the hot tub, the deck overlooking the lakes beautiful views, fishing, leisurely walks down the road, and endless board and lawn games to play. Nearby towns like Spicer and Willmar gave us grocery shopping and places to eat and hang out. The Curiosity Cabin was a fun place to jam guitar, and drums with the owner. This was a wonderful place to spend the week. So relaxing !

Bachelor Party in Paradise

Awesome place to have a bachelor party with the buddies. We had a group of 9 and was just a blast to be on the lake. The amenities made it a great place to escape and have a great boys weekend.

Great lake front location.

Nice accommodations and fun game room. 4 generations enjoyed a great vacation. The owners are very nice and helpful. You do need to be careful on the stairs to the loft. The railing does not extend the entire length and the stairs are quite “squeaky “. There are lots of games for all ages. Fun place.

Look forward to a future visit

We actually had to cancel at the last minute, after our Mom was hospitalized. But the property owners were great at communication and went above and beyond to try to make their sailboat available for our stay. We appreciate it and look forward to a future stay.

I can’t say enough about Paradise on Diamond. Far enough away, yet close to everything. If you are in to fishing, there are so many good lakes in the area you won’t be disappointed. Plenty of room for parking boats. People in the area are so friendly. We had a family and friends of ages 14 to 73 and something to do for everyone. Game night was fun and also the game room was a blast had by all. For myself, I enjoyed my coffee by the fire pit overlooking Diamond Lake when I wasn’t fishing of course. As for the Host of our stay was Mark and Kathy. They were perfect for quick response for any questions we had. The Curiosity Cabin was amazing. Mark is so talented and takes pride in everything he does. Got us playing music in a short time and some of it sounded really good. I highly recommend this place to have some downtime and relax with Family and Friends. Thank you Mark and Kathy for a great week. Your friend from Missouri, Don😎

Great location, nice home. Everything was great and I would’ve given a 5 star except the owner lived next door and kept micro-managing. Which made our stay a little bit discomforting.

Great Winter Getaway

This was great! We started a tradition of going “up north” after Christmas to find a place where we could just hang out as a family. This fit the bill perfectly! We loved the fireplace and the hot tub! The game room was fantastic! They had just installed a REALLY cool device to play lots of the old ATARI and Nintendo games from the 80s and 90s. My husband went out and played PAC-man every day! Mark and Kathy were very welcoming and friendly when we first arrived and gave us some minimal instructions on the game We would definitely go back again and would definitely recommend!

Family Joy

This property was very suited to our needs Clean and so much to do. When a month before our sons fiancee asked if they could be married there, IT worked out beautifully! The owners were so gracious and kind to allow it to happen there. We booked for 10 people and had 19 additional guests for wedding and lunch. The guests were all very impressed with the property and I am sure there will be future reservations!

Family Friendly Diamond

Paradise on Diamond had everything and more!!!!!!!!!!! Our group ranged from4-65 and we had the best family time! Mark and Kathy have thought of everything at their place from activities to amenities. Our kids enjoyed having a jam session with Mark and playing in the game room, even the big kids enjoyed the Game room. It was nice to have several "buildings" to group sleepers and nonsleepers in, or if some needed naps the others did not have to be kept away. The boat was a great addition so that we did not have to spend a lot of time getting one. Mark and Kathy were always available to answer any questions we had since they are across the road but respected our privacy. We are planning to Go back and would recommend it to all of our friends and family! Thanks for a great place to stay Mark and Kathy!!!!!!

True Paradise on Diamond

Our experience at Paradise on Diamond was amazing. We were a group of 12 that included my family, my sister's family and my parents. The hosts, Mark and Kathy, were very welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Everything about the property was exactly like it was listed on the website. Hi, I'm Mark Haen (retired). I was a media specialist (graphic arts, photography, video & audio). I am an avid sailor, bowler, oil painter, musician, songwriter. We have two kids, Joe and Jackie. Five grandkids, Mav, Brody, Charlotte, Nolan and Duncan. I love meeting new people.

I have been working on this property for almost twenty years! What I initially loved about was the privacy and relaxing atmosphere. It's not called "Paradise" for nothing!
One of our guests said it best. "It's a charming traditional wood cabin with modern amenities!"

Because the property has three separate buildings for sleeping it is more private than most. If you like woodsy rooms, there is plenty here. The property on the lakeside of the cabin is tiered into three levels. It's just lush! Set up for a relaxing getaway.
