Chim-Chimney ist ein wunderschönes Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern und spektakulärem Blick auf Whitby Abbey und das Meer.
Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum der Stadt in einer ruhigen Straße, weniger als 10 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt.

Die Wohnung ist geräumig, hell und luftig und verfügt über eine gut ausgestattete Familienküche mit Essbereich, eine separate Lounge mit Blick auf die Abtei und ein Familienbadezimmer mit Waschbecken, Toilette, Badewanne und Dusche. Es gibt auch eine separate Toilette.

Unsere Maisonette bietet Platz für 4 Erwachsene und verfügt über 1 Doppelzimmer und 1 Zweibettzimmer mit Abtei und Meerblick vom Hauptschlafzimmer aus. Es verfügt über einen geräumigen Flur für die Aufbewahrung von Taschen, Fahrrädern, Wanderausrüstung und Ihren Hundenotwendigkeiten!
Wir verfügen auch über Parkscheine, mit denen Sie in den nahe gelegenen Straßen in den zugelassenen Bereichen kostenlos parken können.

Gerne nehmen wir auch 1 gut erzogenen Hund auf, für den Handtücher und Schüsseln zur Verfügung gestellt werden, um Ihren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten!

Great stay experiencing the charms of Whitby

The property was convenient and within walking distance of all Whitby's charms. It was comfortable for myself and two grown up daughters. The views from the bedroom especially was outstanding. We ate out and in, went to Whitby Distillery, The Abbey and on a boat trip. We were amazed at the height of the spring tides. Thank you

Stay in Whitby

We just finished a lovely stay in Whitby exploring the seaside town and nearby Yorkshire. We enjoyed the special little touches in the apartment to make it easy to settle in (the kids loved the box of games!). The apartment was in a good location to wander Whitby, both nearby pubs, the abbey, and the shore.

Fantastic hideaway!

Absolutly loved this holiday home. Immaculate and catered for all my familys needs. Would not recommend to anyone who has trouble getting up and down stairs , but other than that it was perfect!

Great apartment in a great location to wander and explore Whitby without needing the car . You’ll have to get used to all the stairs though ! Really good communication from the host 👍. I’d use again and recommend

Our third Christmas

This was our third Christmas - I think that says it all - but thank you so much Jenny and Lee - everything is spotless, well maintained, comfortable, home from home - we tell everyone where we spend our Christmases! I can't praise this accommodation enough!

fantastic appartment

Us three ladies ad a fab time at goth weekend our fist time in the apartment we could not fault it , it was absolutely spotlessly clean everything you need is there , location is very convenient near to shops , pubs and restaurants, we all would highly recommend chimchimmney we av already made our second booking.just like to say jenny and lee and family chimchimmney is a credit to you its the best home from home lv angie xx

Fantastic Homely Getaway

Stayed at Chim-Chimney in April 2014. The owners were exceptionally helpful, professional and quick to respond to enquiries. Everything was very clean, spotless. Lots of small homely touches in every room made the stay extra special. Plenty of room in the hallway (on entry), where you can store boots and bags that you don't want to take upstairs. At the top of the stairs you'll find the bathroom, kitchen and living room. The Kitchen was fully equipped (we made a three course meal no problem) and the full sized dishwasher was great for holiday convenience. The living room is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, lots of lamps and homely soft furnishings. There is a Freeview TV, DVD player, DAB radio and games to make for an entertaining evening and stops any rainy days from being a problem. Up the next flight of stairs are the two bedrooms.The bedroom at the front has the double bed and fantastic views of the harbour and Abby. There is a stool by the window to take in the views before getting up for the day, a must. The bedroom at the back has two singles beds. Location is fantastic, very central but set back from the busy areas on a quiet road, pay and display car park is only a few metres away. There were clear and very polite instructions on how to use things like the heating etc and we felt very strongly that the owners had invested a lot of effort in making sure their guests had a pleasant and comfortable stay. It was a home away from home and would not only recommend the property but we also hope to return in the future. Great value for money with no extra charges for laundry etc unlike other places we had enquired with. In summery, we had a fantastic stay at Chim-Chimney!!

Very pleasant stay

The property is situated in a great location a few minutes away from a beach by car (actually even a walking distance, we’ve a dog so had to drive a bit further) tasty fish & chips 50metres away, another shops, restaurants & harbour within 5-10minutes walking distance. The neighbourhood was quite & we always found a parking nearby + owners supply the parking permit scratch card. They also supply tea, coffee & sugar, which was nice as another property we rented last year didn’t. Everything was in working order, enough cupboard space … so we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Whitby short break

Lovely apartment in a central location everything provided- well equipped kitchen (fresh milk greatly appreciated!) bathroom with good shower pressure and views from the relaxing front bedroom looking at the abbey and church really added to the whole experience. Our first visit to Whitby and we will definitely return and hopefully stay in the same property especially as was dog friendly and Monty our mini sausage dog loved it as much as we did xxx

Best weekend 14th - 16th June 2019

Love the accommodation, perfect location. Well stocked and prepared before our arrival before a friends stag do. Didn’t have to worry much about milk etc just arrived showered the straight back out didn’t have to worry about anything. Definitely staying here again and definitely recommend to family, and friends.

Great place, great view

Loved the place felt great as soon as we walked in. Everything was there we could need for our stay, which mainly consisted of a bottle opener and glasses but that was great. Only downside was the curtains in the front bedroom basically did nothing against the light and was woken up quite early from it. But the view was amazing and so so central, loved it, would definitely stay again.

Lovely bright maisonette. Lots of thoughtful touches.

Very good communication with hosts throughout. Holiday home just as described - very central but in a peaceful side street. Good to have parking voucher for entire stay - I know some places don’t arrange this but it made for stress free arrival. Thoughtful little touches throughout. Comfy beds. I would recommend this holiday let without hesitation. Many thanks.
