Das Hotel lag in der begehrten North Shore Gemeinschaft von Dollar Point, an einer sonnigen Straße in der Nähe des Ufer des Lake Tahoe, sind diese charmante Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern bereit, Ihr Basislager während eines unvergesslichen Aufenthalts zu sein in dem Sierras!

Im Sommer haben wir das Gefühl, Sie werden viel Zeit entspannt auf der großen, sonnigen Deck verbringen, kochen das Abendessen auf dem Weber Grill und Essen im Freien oder im Whirlpool Einweichen unter den Sternen. Sie sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Schwimmbad (0,3 km) und dem Strand (0,6 km) entfernt.

Das Ferienhaus wurde komplett neu gestaltet und der Innenraum ist gemütlich und komfortabel für Gruppen aller Größen. Vom Boden bis zur Decke reichenden Fenster lassen das Licht auf den Wohnbereich und einen großen Sitz dreht sich um einen brandneuen Flachbildschirm-Fernseher und Echtholz Kamin füllen. Sie werden zwei Gästezimmer auf dieser Etage sowie ein Vollbad finden. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich die Master Suite auf einer eigenen Etage mit einem Queensize-Bett und einem eigenen Bad.

ÜBER DAS GEBIET

Unmittelbar östlich von Tahoe City am schönen Nordufer des Lake Tahoe liegt einer der begehrtesten Viertel der Gegend - der Dollar Point. Die gesamte Gemeinde befindet sich auf der Seeseite der Autobahn, es ist der perfekte Ort für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub zu machen. Mit einer Reihe von Häusern in unserem Portfolio in einem leicht zu Fuß voneinander entfernt, ist dies der ideale Ort für einen Mehrfamilienurlaub. Und, oh, die Annehmlichkeiten!

Im Sommer ist Dollar Point wirklich nicht zu schlagen. Es ist eine der wenigen Gemeinden in North Shore, die kostenlosen Zugang zu einem Pool und einem privaten Sandstrand bietet, die beide weniger als eine Meile von jedem Haus in der Gemeinde entfernt sind. Für die Suche nach Abenteuer suchen, hüpfen auf dem Radweg, der die Gemeinschaft und folgen Sie den Truckee River Norden verlässt, oder Tahoe City besuchen, zu Hause, um alles von Coffee-Shops home grown Fine Dining am See, nur wenige Minuten entfernt.

3. SOMMER 2019 AMENITY UPDATE: Ab dem 24.06.19 beträgt die Gebühr für den Gastzugang 10 USD pro Person und Tag. Kinder unter 5 Jahren sind KOSTENLOS. Unabhängig von der Belegung des Hauses ist der Zugang zu den Annehmlichkeiten auf 8 Gäste pro Tag beschränkt.

Worst Experience Ever

I don't expect my review to be published as I'm sure Tahoe Guest Services scrubs the ones they don't like... however, don't rent from this company. The unit we rented was not as advertised and I'll be contacting the HOA within Dollar Point to give full details as well as the better business bureau. The unit had missing window screens, a backed up sink, dirty dishes, broken pans, a broken lock to a patio door, windows that did have a screen required one to prop them open with a wooden spoon in order to stay open, the dishwasher was missing wheels to roll out the trays, the carpet was stained and filthy, cutting boards were stored on the floor of the kitchen, and the hot tub was dirty. I would spend more time giving a review but again, I'm sure it won't be published. Save your money because they won't refund a penny to you. Rent from any other place other than this company and definitely not this disgusting "basecamp" in Dollar Point.

Could have been better, avoid the hot months

We had a few major issues with this place: 1. Overall Cleanliness. There were cobwebs in many reachable places with tons of caught bugs and happy spiders. We cleaned up most of them on our day of arrival, but they should have been cleaned well in advance of our stay. The patio was covered in pollen, which we had to wash away. We had to mop our kitchen floors because they were dirty. The carpet had visible stains. We vacuumed after a few days and pulled up more dust than I'd expect if it were recently cleaned. Outside around and below the deck was some garbage, including a cigarette butt. 2. Overall upkeep of furnishings and amenities. Material on one of the dining room chairs was visibly tattered and falling off the bottom. One of the recliners had a missing foam insulation in one of the arms (not visible in the posting photos). The carpet was bunching in places. The dish washer had a missing button, missing wheels on the bottom rack, and the door would dangerously fall on its own if not completely closed. There was a large crack in the bottom bedroom with two beds, partly covered by a picture. In the same room, there is visible water damage below the window, which also happens to be at the head of the single bed. The queen bed in the bottom bedroom with two beds sags in the middle and was very uncomfortable for my wife and I. 3. Ventilation. We stayed for a week at the beginning of August with temperatures in the 80s and the house got unbearably hot during the day. We opened all the windows and doors and turned on all the fans they provided and still couldn't cool the house. Luckily the air quality was "good" enough (100-150 AQI) with the nearby fires that we spent most of our time at the Lake, but if the air quality was worse, I'm not sure what we would have done, but staying inside with the windows shut would have been a none starter. 4. No HOA amenities. For the $$$$ we paid for 7 days, we should have had access to at least the beach, if not the pool. No clear indication that the cost was reduced for previously provided amenities at Dollar Point. 5. Slow Wifi. My wife and I both had to take video calls and encountered many issues trying to maintain a connection. Only one person could be on, and we had to disconnect all other devices. On the positive side, the place has an open layout and good location. The hot tub is great, and the bathrooms are nice. It just needs some TLC and $15-20k of improvements.

We never were able to use the hot tub due to a combination lock placed on it. During the afternoon the heat in the rental was unbearable even with all the fans running. Of course, it didn't help that most of the windows couldn't be opened. Overall, we were disappointed for the price we paid.

Reviewer Comments: Our group of 6 had the best time in Tahoe -- we came on Memorial Day weekend when it wasn't cold enough to ski and not quite warm enough to be at the pool or lake, but we still had the absolute best time relaxing in the mountains. It's definitely in a quiet residential neighborhood, but we were still able to enjoy ourselves without any complaints (we weren't very rowdy). The house was well kept, comfortable, and clean. It was super easy to communicate with the Tahoe Getaways team and they even called me on the day of our arrival to let us know the home was ready earlier than expected and we could come sooner. We enjoyed the hot tub and loved grilling out on the patio! The only downside was that the fridge and freezer didn't seem to stay very cold so some of our food spoiled. But other than that, it was the perfect weekend! I worked with Nicole from Tahoe Getaways, and she was a pleasure to communicate with.

Reviewer Comments: The pictures of this rental are deceiving as the house was in rough shape. The carpets and bed sheets were badly stained. I washed the sheets and got some of the stains out but had to buy stain remover. Lot of cobwebs on every window and paper black shades cover the view. Ants everywhere. There were five or six traps all along the downstairs, but that didn't help and just made the place look even worse. When you are paying for a nice vacation and leave one day early, that is a problem. Screens are ducktaped. Owners need to invest some money in this property before renting it out. Cleaners need help. We were disappointed for the first time after going to Tahoe for much of our lives.
