On the Ocean

Views are stunning - property on Southern most tip of Kauai. Townhome is somewhat dated. Listing stated hot tub, so we assumed on property (deck) but it is by the shared pool, not private. Could use better lounging furniture on deck. Deck furniture very cheap.

Incredible property manager

As sometimes occurs, we had a couple of issues during our stay. The issues could not have been foreseen, and the property manager handled it perfectly. We were unable to stay in the condo planned which was fairly upsetting at first. However, the property manager, Michael, responded immediately and was able to have another condo ready for us within 90 mins. We had the choice to take it or not and as fate would have it, this condo was better for our needs than the original one. We had two other issues which were simply bad luck, but again Michael and his staff were on it immediately. We were able to resolve the issues we had to our complete satisfaction. I Bottom line is we Will be returning to Kauai and when we do, we will chose this property manager. If they'll have us. 😉 Highly recommend any of the beautiful properties managed by this great group of people.

Paradise in Kauai

We had a wonderful stay in Kauai, mainly because of the location of our unit. We were able to see sunrise and sunset from our balcony. Watching the waves crashing ashore is never tiresome. The management (Jessica) was very responsive and helpful.

Amazing views

The one good thing about this place are the views. The property manager Michael really stepped up when we asked to be moved into another place, shortly after getting here. We didn’t get the ocean view but had a special house on a golf course and it was beautiful, quiet and peaceful! Thanks to Michael for making our new home a beautiful place to stay for 10 days!

Nicely appropriated with views that can't be beat! The crashing surf is 24/7 and the transom windows cannot be closed as I think corrosion has set in, but it didn't bother us a bit and the constant breeze through the house was great. Having no A/C was not a problem for us in the 3rd week of April, but I can imagine in July, might be a bit too humid for us. We enjoyed every minute and the host (Alekona Kauai) was a fabulous property manager! The communication was outstanding. Would definitely book again!

See the ocean, feel the ocean

Right on the edge of the ocean in the community of Popui on the southern coast of Kauai. Great views. Nice condo layout. The unit could use a little TLC but was neat and clean. Good communications with property manager.

About as close to the ocean as you can get

Great stay - the kitchen was well equipped and it was a perfect set up for two couples. There was a lot of wear and tear that I wasn’t expecting for what we paid and the complex as a whole is very dated. The location and view made it an enjoyable visit.

Breathtaking views, a perfect stay!

We loved everything about this unit. Waves crashing, breathtaking sunrise views, an unbeatable location, an awesome onsite pool, comfy beds… you name it! We loved the quick access to Poipu Beach and being a few steps away from the footpath to Shipwreck Beach. It was so helpful to have a laundry room in the unit, we got all of our laundry done before we left and didn’t being home the whole beach with us. We also appreciated that there was a wagon, beach umbrella, chairs, and towels in the unit. So helpful, we didn’t have to rent anything. We are looking forward to staying here again one day!

As Advertised & More…

Between the AMAZING views, speedy communication with the management company & LOCATION…not sure what was best. We had our family of 4 (adults plus 21 & 18yo). Having access to the nice pool was great, easy access to multiple beaches & did I mention the views!?! Just wow! Can’t wait to go back!

LOVED THE VIEW AND CRASHING WAVES

We just returned from the best experience in Kauai. Hosts were uber responsive if we needed anything. The location is truly right on the cliffs, overlooking neverending crashing waves and lava rock. We took daily hikes around the rocks, dirt paths and neighborhood streets. Truly oceanfront. Slept with open doors to the sound of the water and a nonstop ocean breeze. Plenty of parking and short drive to anywhere you want to go.

Lovely relaxation

A truly beautiful condo, with an amazing location. Being the corner condo, we had windows on two full walls, allowing us to see miles of crashing waves, whales spouting and breaching, turtles surfing, and both sunrises and sunsets. Beds, towels, kitchen equipment, showers....everything was clean and luxurious. With the tables and chairs on the balcony, we were able to have all our meals outdoors, watching the waves and marine life. Lovely!

Beautiful waterfront location

The property was in a beautiful waterfront location and close to beaches and trails. The unit itself was very nice. The only issues were windows that were quite coated/obscured with salt and some that wouldn’t close. This made for some rain getting in and very loud whistling when the high winds came. The entire complex was having its railings assessed, so there was construction netting across. The property manager gave us a warning about this ahead of time and a discount on our stay. Overall a very pleasant stay!

We have a whale of a tale

We lived on Kauai for 5 years and stayed at the Grand Hyatt numerous times, but this was the first time we have vacationed back to Kauai since we moved away. We went through renting a VRBO, primarily because the 4 of us stayed 2 full weeks in Poipu. This property is in a prime location right on the ocean and we loved the ease of preparing meals, having cocktails, watching whales and turtles, sun and moon rises and settings right from the lanai. Showers, bedding, towels, appliances are all first rate and everything functioned nicely. We were within easy walking distance to the Grand Hyatt and Poipu Beach. Parking was plentiful and we never had to search for a spot to park. I was able to rent a bicycle from Briggs Bikes in Harbor Mall and ride to my heart's content. This area of the island is actually our favorite for ease of access to paths and safe walking, too. We never tired of watching all that the ocean has to offer, but when we did, we all slept very well in comfortable surroundings. What a terrific way to vacation. Thank you!

Felt like “lives of the rich and famous” episode

Words can’t describe the experience but I will try. Everything in the listing is accurate and the views and amenities are out of this world wonderful. The host is over the top responsive and the organization and details and service cannot be surpassed. Even pickleball lines on the tennis court for those enthusiasts! Truly perfect beaches walkable distance but rocky coast in front is so picturesque and huger turtles swimming right there. Sunrise and sunset views from the units private balcony. Beds so so comfortable. Huge space You Must have a car for groceries and exploring Kauai Free parking on site. Pool lovely and access to tennis and pb equipment in a shed. This unit had 2-3 Sets of snorkel equipment left by others.

Some of the best views on the island

This 2 bedroom condo on Popiu was the perfect spot for us to spend our vacation. It came with all the expected amenities such as a W/D, pool and beach supplies and kitchen essentials. Bathrooms were well-equipped with lots of towels, a hairdryer and toiletries. Ample parking spots. A short 15 minute walk to the Grand Hyatt gave us a place to enjoy 5 star dining as well. We had one maintenance issue that was addressed right away. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Gorgeous location

Words and pictures can't really describe how stunning this location is. The constant ocean breeze kept us a comfortable temperature even without A/C. The salt spray has been rough on some of the furniture and carpets, which could use some updating. Excellent kitchen (with a blender!). Would absolutely stay here again.

Great Oceanfront Location

This was a nice unit with a fantastic location. We could not only see and hear the ocean but we could feel it as well as it was pounding the coast. We were so close we even got spray. The unit was clean and comfortable. I would recommend some updated furniture for the lanai. We would definitely stay here again!!
