Das InTheBluff - Galiano Oceanside Log House befindet sich am Active Pass, der spektakulären Meerespassage zwischen den Inseln Galiano und Mayne und bietet einen der schönsten Ausblicke auf die südlichen Golfinseln. Das Gebiet ist bekannt für seine starken Strömungen, das oft turbulente Wasser und die vielfältige Tierwelt. Achten Sie auf Adler, Robben, Seelöwen und Otter, die in den wirbelnden Strömungen tummeln, und auf Orca-Wale in ihrem natürlichen Element. Sogar Buckelwale ziehen gelegentlich vorbei. Atmen Sie die Inselluft ein.

InTheBluff ist eine einzigartige und wunderbare Zuflucht, ein handwerkliches Blockhaus auf einer Klippe am Meer und inmitten von über 15 Hektar, die von Eichen, Erdbeerbäumen, Douglasien und Zedern geprägt sind. Das schöne Blockhaus verfügt über alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich nur wünschen kann, darunter WLAN und HD-Fernseher (Antenne). Zwei Schlafzimmer (jeweils mit Queensize-Betten) bieten Komfort und Trennung. Der Meister ist im Obergeschoss mit einem privaten Balkon mit Blick auf Active Pass. InTheBluff bietet sehr bequem Platz für bis zu vier.

Die kürzlich renovierten Decks sind atemberaubend und verfügen über einen Infinity-Whirlpool. Es ist wirklich schwer, sich einen schöneren Ort vorzustellen, um in einem Whirlpool zu faulenzen!

Die Küche des InTheBluff ist gut ausgestattet und verfügt über einen Heartland-Country-Herd, einen Backofen, eine Mikrowelle und einen Geschirrspüler. Kuscheln am Holzkamin Tulikivi (Speckstein), Lounge auf dem Deck mit einem guten Buch,

Für die eifrigen Naturforscher ist es besonders praktisch, den wunderschönen, 1,5 km langen Strand zu erreichen, da der Matthews Point Beach Access Trail direkt angrenzt. Dies ist jedoch erst der Anfang, da das Matthews Pont Regional Park Reserve, im Wesentlichen eine Erweiterung von InTheBluff, mit einer Reihe von Versuchen und Aussichten direkt mit dem Bluffs Park verbunden ist. Mt. Galiano ist auch durch ein sich entwickelndes Inselpfad-System verbunden - denken Sie an Ihr Wasser, Ihre guten Wanderschuhe und Ihre Kamera!

InTheBluff ist ein Nichtraucher-Rückzugsort für Haustiere. Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in perfekter Lage für einige der besten Wanderungen, die die Golfinseln zu bieten haben, oder um sich einfach zurückzulehnen, die frische Inselluft einzuatmen und zu jeder Jahreszeit die atemberaubende Aussicht zu genießen.

Staycation

Amazing location to get lost from busy life. The whole island is full of places to explore. The Cabin itself is on a huge forested lot, overlooking the ocean and its own path to a secluded beach. We will be back.

Heaven on the Hill

Beautiful log home on bluff overlooking Active Pass. Loved sitting on the deck watching the water and clouds.Georgeous little beach below the property. Numerous hikes nearby. The Hosts were the best and even met us at the property to give us a tour! Don’t have enough stars for this property.

Amazing experience!

It doesn’t get any better than this!! Lawrence and Janusz are wonderful, they do everything they can to make your stay the best it can be! The cabin is stunning and they have thought of everything! There was ice made, fire built and music playing to welcome us on arrival! Kitchen was great, we cooked all dinners there ( has the best view in town) Then there’s the view! It is mind blowing! Pics don’t do it Justice! Tons of wildlife and we were even lucky enough to see a pod of orcas go by! This place is truly magical! Sturdies bay is wonderful too. A couple of little grocery stores with a good selection as well as alcohol. We also got take out from the black flying dog and babes in the woods pizza, both were excellent! The Sturdies bay cafe for coffee, sweet and savoury treats is also a must!! It is amazing there and the staff is wonderful! This was the best vacation ever!! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you Lawrence and Janusz!!!

Best way to unwind!

Spent three nights here in absolute heaven. Needed an escape from Seattle craziness. Very easy to get there. The owner is AMAZING and answers very promptly any questions and even sends you alerts when whales are nearby! We barely left the property. Just relaxed and enjoyed the incredible views and nature. Such a tranquil and happy place to relax. Even with rain in the first 24 hours it was so peaceful and enjoyable. Not much on the island but frankly you don’t need to leave the house! Highly highly highly recommend!!

Most beautiful place we've ever rented!!

Our post-wedding stay here was absolutely magical! The cabin itself is beautiful and the view overlooking Active Pass is absolutely stunning. The place was super private with an abundance of friendly wildlife coming to say hi each day. We loved that there was a short walk down to a really nice beach that was pretty much private as most of the time we were the only ones there. And the infinity hot tub at sunset is so nice! On top of all this, Lawrence and Janusz were super friendly, accommodating, and helpful and definitely went above and beyond as hosts :) If you're coming to Galiano and InTheBluff is available then we'd highly recommend booking it!

Galiano Oasis

We had a wonderful stay at Lawrence and Janusz’s lovely log house In the Bluff. The house is perched high above the water overlooking Active Pass. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The deck, hot tub and inside of the house, captures this amazing view from every angle. The outside and inside furniture is very comfortable and tasteful. L & J have thought of everything to make your stay there deluxe. We loved our time there and look forward to returning. You do not need to worry about the weather when staying in this gem. Cozy inside and a hot tub outside. Lovely and absolutely enjoyable stay. Inside stairs are steep so if you have bad knees or older family member there is a bedroom on main living floor

An amazing weekend away

My wife and I rented this amazing property for the weekend and we’re absolutely blown away. If anything the pictures in the listing don’t do justice to just how beautiful the property and view are. That alone would have been enough for a great weekend, but the hosts went above and beyond preparing the property to be comfortable and easy to use. There was plenty of wood for the fire, every kitchen convenience we could think of, and they even had binoculars to watch the wild life in the bay. There’s all sort flattering things I can say about how well the property is prepared for you to have the perfect weekend, but I’ll just extend my sincere thanks to the hosts for sharing this wonderful experience with us. We’ll definitely be back again if we can!

We can't express enough how much we enjoyed this property and the whole process from booking to communication with the owners before, during and after. Although my husband has family on Galiano and we have visited and stayed at the island many times, In The Bluff offered a serene change of pace for us. Amazing stay!!!

Communication with the cabin owner was lovely. The cabin is magical and incredibly relaxing. Sitting in the hot tub at sunset was amazing. We didnt see any whales passing by but we did see an incredible eagle show our last morning. We will definitely be back!

Amazing!

This home is the most amazing place, and we would give it 6/5, for sure, if we could. Communication was prompt, and pleasant. The place was spotless, the home has every comfort, and the location is second to none. Watching the deer, the eagles, the ferries below, while relaxing in the hot tub put us in such a calm state, it was hard to leave on our last day. Thank you so much, we will be back!

Beyond expectations

This is definitely one of the nicest locations in the area. Sitting right where the two ferries meet is spectacular. Lots of deer and eagles, the log cabin is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Definitely worth visiting again and again.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. The house was cozy, well appointed and very clean. We felt like we were at home with all of comforts and special touches throughout the home. Cabin with the best views

This property is the perfect west coast property. Amazing view of Active Pass with lots of ferry and boat activity , whales cruising through, or at times the perfect stillness. It is completely private with the most beautiful natural forest . The house is well appointed with everything we could need and more.

FABULOUS!!

Within 5 minutes of arriving we all wanted to book it again next year!! It just felt like home and that was because it’s gorgeous and cozy but also because it felt like we were meeting friends - Lawrence and Janusz 😊 The cabin has everything you could want and the views are speculative -from the deck and from the amazing infinity hottub. Absolute Perfection

We had a wonderful 3 day getaway at InnTheBluff on Galiano Island. The property is exactly as described and photographed. The owners are Very responsive and helpful. The location overlooking Active Pass is stunning. We enjoyed the gorgeous view of the islands and ferries passing. We were treated to a show of orca whales on our last morning. Superb island hiking nearby. We highly recommend and can’t wait to return.
