Dieses sonnige und geräumige Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern mit Blick auf das Dorf Chateau d'Oex befindet sich in einem preisgekrönten, renovierten Gebäude aus dem 19. Jahrhundert mit feinen architektonischen Elementen. Die Apartments verfügen über ein modernes Hallenbad, eine Sauna / ein Dampfbad und einen Fitnessraum. Es bietet ruhige, komfortable und gut ausgestattete Unterkünfte zur Selbstverpflegung für maximal 4 Personen. Die Wohnung verfügt über zwei Südbalkone und eine private, große Südwestterrasse mit Sonnenmarkise, die spektakuläre Ausblicke in alle Richtungen bietet. Das Dorf ist das ganze Jahr über ein Familienresort und liegt in einer schönen Umgebung für alle Aktivitäten in den Bergen.

Chateau d´Oex: Ist ein reizendes traditionelles Dorf mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten in der französischsprachigen Schweiz. Es gibt verschiedene Restaurants, Teegeschäfte, Banken, einen ausgezeichneten Supermarkt und traditionelle Lebensmittelgeschäfte. Auch Mietwagen, Fahrradverleih, Sportverleih, Video- und DVD-Verleih usw. Es gibt ein Kino, ein entzückendes Museum, ein hilfsbereites, englischsprachiges Fremdenverkehrsamt und verschiedene Kirchen. Es ist ein weltbekanntes Zentrum für Heißluftballonfahrten. Jeden Januar wird die Internationale Heißluftballonwoche mit einer Vielzahl von Ballons abgehalten, die in die Luft gehen. Das ganze Jahr über finden traditionelle alpine und musikalische Veranstaltungen statt. Es ist ein idealer Ort, um sich zu entspannen oder aktiv zu sein.

Winteraktivitäten: Skifahren, Langlaufen, Schneeschuhwandern, Rodeln, Ballonfahren, Winterwanderungen, Eislaufen, Curling und Bowling. Konzerte und Konzerte im Chateau d'Oex und den umliegenden Dörfern: Erkundigen Sie sich beim Tourismusbüro.

In der Wohnung gibt es zwei Stufen, um die private Terrasse zu erreichen. Kostenloses, schnelles WLAN ist im Apartment verfügbar. Denken Sie daran, Ihren persönlichen Laptop mitzubringen. Das Gebäude verfügt über einen Aufzug. Zur Sicherheit befindet sich an der Haupttür eine Türsprechanlage. Eine Waschküche befindet sich im unteren Erdgeschoss. Waschmaschinen und Trockner sind vorhanden. Es gibt auch eine komfortable Bar und einen Loungebereich mit Kartentischen und Brettspielen sowie eine kleine Bibliothek, in der auch WLAN verfügbar ist. Im Poolbereich gibt es Umkleidekabinen, Dusche, Haartrockner und Toiletten usw. Im Garten gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten, einen Bouleplatz und Schach im Freien. Eine reservierte Tiefgarage ist vorhanden, mit geschlossenem Zugang direkt zum Keller und Aufzug zum Apartment. Sie erhalten eine Kopie der Hausordnung.

Aktivitäten im Sommer: Die Seilbahnen sind von Juni bis September geöffnet und bieten Zugang zu gut ausgeschilderten Wanderwegenetzen und Mountainbike-Touren. Auch Skifahren am Les Diableret-Gletscher, Fahrradrouten, Reiten, Ballonfahren, Wildwasser-Rafting, Kanufahren, Angeln, Bogenschießen, Klettersteig, Kegeln, Tennis und Entspannung! Der schöne Golfplatz von Gstaad in Saanenmoser (mit Driving Range) ist 20 Minuten entfernt. Innerhalb von 45 Minuten erreichen Sie die Golfplätze Lac Gruyère, Villars und Aigle. Außerdem: Swiss Open International Tennis (Gstaad, Juli), Montreux Jazz Festival (Juli), Menuhin Music Festival (Gstaad), Schlösser Chillon und Aigle, Kurorte Ovronnaz und Yverdon-les-Bains. Der Glacier 3000 bietet eine neue Alpen-Achterbahn / Bobbahn.

Well-appointed apartment with beautiful mountain views

The apartment benefits from views of mountains on all sides and boasts an underground car park where your car can be safely stored. As well as having skiing facilities there are many hiking trails close by that take you over and around the mountains. There is a good rail service and the town which is within walking distance from the apartment has some excellent restaurants selling traditional foods as well as catering for a range of tastes. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable and there is a range of well-organised information which gives details about the area, the amenities and leisure activities. A range of games and books are also provided. Although there is no washing machine / tumble dryer a laundry service is offered. The pool and sauna are a nice way to relax at the end of a busy day but there are time limits when these can be accessed and the pool is maintained weekly so is unavailable for one morning per week. There is also a gym area but we did not use these facilities. You are asked to contact Angelo the rental manager half an hour prior to your arrival and he meets you by the apartment. This system works well - not only is Angelo friendly and helpful but also a fount of knowledge regarding local attractions and activities. When we arrived in the evening following a drive through mountainous roads, the complimentary bottle of wine was a welcome touch!

Séjour agréable dans un appartement charmant

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable avec nos deux enfants en bas-âge et avons apprécié les échanges courriels avec les propriétaires. L'appartement correspondait pleinement à la description. Bien tenu et joliment décoré, disposant de tout le nécessaire pour le quotidien, il est situé au calme, sur les hauteurs de Château-d'Oex. Nous avons bénéficié de la vue et des différentes attractions proposées dans l'immeuble et dans le village. Nous gardons volontiers les coordonnées de la résidence Rosat dans notre carnet d'adresses pour une prochaine occasion !

En general ha sido una buena experiencia//Bon séjour dans l'ensemble

En general, la estancia en el apartamento número 4 ha sido satisfactoria. Limpio y confortable con buenas vistas. El wifi no funciona correctamente y es muy deficitario en este apartamento, cosa que no se corresponde con lo que se indica en el anuncio. Para captar un poco de wifi había que sentarse en el suelo en el pasillo, cerca de la puerta de entrada. En el resto del apartamento imposible! Queremos destacar un hecho que nos ha parecido abusivo. Accidentalmente se nos rompió un vaso IKEA y nos cobraron por ello 5 CHF (como no teníamos moneda suiza nos cobraron 4,50€) por un vaso que cuesta 0,82 CHF (0,75 €). Teniendo en cuenta que el wifi no funcionaba correctamente, creemos que una cosa podía haber ido por la otra. -------------------------------------------------------------- Dans l'ensemble, le séjour à l'appartement 4 a été satisfaisant. Propre et confortable avec une belle vue. Le wifi ne marchait pas correctement et ça ne se correspond pas à ce qui est indiqué dans la publicité. Pour avoir un peu de wifi on devait s'asseoir par terre dans le couloir près de la porte d'entrée. Dans le reste de l'appartement impossible d'en avoir! Nous voulons mettre en évidence un fait que nous croyons excessif. Par accident, nous avons cassé un verre IKEA et on nous a fait payer 5 CHF ( 4,50 €) pour un verre qui coûte 0,82 CHF (0,75 €). Étant donné que le wifi ne fonctionnait pas correctement, nous croyons qu'ils auraient pu passer de cet accident minime, en tout cas comparé avec la sérieuse dédificience quant au wifi.

Lovely & clean with beautiful views

We were very happy at this lovely and clean property in beautiful Chateau d'Oex. It is has everything you need and we had a comfortable stay. The building is well run and the pool was a treat. We would definitely love to return one day.

Great overall experience

My family and I were extremely happy with our stay at La Residence Rosat. Liz and Steve’s apartment is very well appointed, the building is quiet and secure, and the on-site manager helpful. We were not overly disappointed by the lack of snow during our stay, as we were able to take full advantage of the amenities in the building (pool, sauna…) and visit local attractions by train (Gruyere, Gstaad). The only downsides were the uneven wi-fi coverage in the apartment and the 15-20-minute walk to the supermarket and train station. Otherwise, I recommend this rental without hesitation.

Great vacation getaway

Wonderful apartment with everything as described. We love to cook and the clean kitchen was well equipped. The quaint town has a large grocery store, two bakeries, several restaurants and a train station all a 10-15 minute walk away (uphill coming back to the apartment!). The view from the terrace into the valley is spectacular with hot air balloons spotted frequently in the early morning hours. The beds were comfortable with good reading lights and the rooms had ample storage space. Living room and dining room were also cozy. The swimming pool was a nice to have with few people using it. The internet connection in the apartment was a bit spotty but always accessible in one area. Loads of maps and guides full of activities for several weeks (summer and winter) were very helpful. The area has lots of hiking and is within easy driving distance to Gruyere (town with castle), Caillier (Nestle) chocolate factory in Broc, Gstaad. A rail trip to Montreux is rewarded with a scenic view of the lake. Would definitely recommend this for both a relaxing or active vacation!

Excellent apartment in a beautiful village

Excellent apartment. Spotless and very well furnished. Views from roof terrace or balconies are lovely. Swimming pool was perfect for the kids and quite often we were the only ones using it. Chateau D'Oex is lovely and has an excellent large supermarket as well as many things for children such as mini golf, bowling, playground. Patrick the apartment manager and Angelo the lettings manager were both extremely helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic location to relax and explore the surrounding area, perfect for families.

Family holiday

This apartment is really beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It is in excellent condition, very clean and well maintained. Very spacious and airy. The main balcony has an outstanding view but unfortunately it is unsafe for toddlers, unless very closely supervised. A cot was unavailable to us also (which we were aware of beforehand) but we managed fine and had a wonderful holiday. The owners of this apartment 8292 were very friendly to deal with everything was straightforward in regards to our booking and they were very helpful at all times and had satifactory answers to all our questions. Chateau d'oex is a beautiful town and the locals are very friendly and welcoming!

Great holiday!

We found the apartment to be very comfortable and well maintained. Everything that we needed was provided. All the facilities were first class and well looked after.The views from the balcony and terrace were beautiful and even my husband who usually can't sit still for more than a few minutes would just sit and take in the scenery for hours We found all the information leaflets and maps very useful and made use of the books that were available.. The village which is only a ten minute walk away had a good variety of shops and places to eat and the supermarket had everything we needed when we ate in the apartment. We found the roads very quiet, which is a good thing when you're driving 'on the wrong side' and looking for turnings! The chocolate factory (about thirty mins. drive ) was a big hit! All in all a great holiday. Would love to go back sometime.

Great Holiday - Excellent Apartment !

The apartment is excellent and the facilities available within the apartment complex are just perfect. The accomodation is comfortable and very well equiped, and in a beautiful setting with stunning views. We spent 7 days there, a mix of skiing and relaxation. Skiing for us was a 30 minute drive up to the Glacier 3000 (being April you have to go high) - but we prefer this time of year as it's not crowded, and the weather is mostly very good too ! The indoor swimming pool area (within the building just downstairs from the accomodation) is top class. I used the gym a couple of times and spent a few days (when not skiing) by the pool - it looks out into the gardens and is a warm and very relaxing environment. There were not many people around at this time of year so it felt private and exclusive ! In Chateau d'Oex there are a number of restaurants and some pleasent coffee & pastry type places. A variety of shops, bakeries and a supermarket are available if you want to eat in - which we did quite often. Overall it was a great holiday and a real pleasure staying at La Residence Rosat - it's on our list of places to go back to for sure !

Skiing in Chateau d'Oex

"The apartment has spectacular views over the mountains which in February were snow clad. It was in immaculate condition and contained everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. In relation to all apartments in other ski areas I have stayed in it was very spacious. The communal areas were extremely well maintained and the staff we met friendly and polite. The pool and sauna were both welcoming after a day on the slopes. The ski areas were varied and there was no queuing at the lifts which for February half term is virtually unheard of. Opportunities to walk and snow shoe were also good. There was an information booklet provided by the owner which listed useful information and it was good that piste maps were provided in the apartment and also in the communal areas. There was no problem with noise from other apartments which I have found a problem in the past with other rented accommodation. I would recommend a stay in this apartment and in the pleasant village of Chateau d'Oex"

Two fantastic holidays in Chateau d'Oex

We enjoyed our holiday at this apartment in Chateau d'Oex so much that we booked to stay again the following summer! The photos on the website look wonderful, but the reality was even better than we could have imagined. The views from the balconies were stunning, the apartment was immaculate and so beautiful and well equipped that we could have quite happily not moved from it all fortnight. To sit on the terrace listening to the cow bells and gazing at the mountains was so relaxing, but we also enjoyed wandering into the town centre to go to the local supermarket, get the cable car up the mountain for alpine walks and mountain scootering(!), and catching the train into Montreaux and Interlaken. The children enjoyed being able to swim every evening, and we usually had the pool to ourselves. A fabulous place to visit with plenty of things in the area to do for all age groups - it even impressed our 2 teenagers!

Excelent apartment. Excelent Chateau D'Oex.

We spent 12 unforgettable days. The apartment is great and very comfortable. The dining rooms are light and. The terrace is spacious and very private with wonderful views of the valley and mountains. Relaxing evening going out for stargazing. The services are a luxury, pool, sauna, meeting rooms, gym. It is an apartment highly recommended for anyone wishing to spend an unforgettable vacation. I should also mention to Angelo, the person who received us very cordially and with great professionalism.

Chateau d'Oex holiday apartment: Chateau d'Oex

This was our first self-catering holiday for many years; more recently we have always stayed in hotels in other parts of Switzerland. We were a little apprehensive about making the change but this was totally unfounded as we had the most relaxing, enjoyable 2 weeks in the mountains. The appartment was well equipped, clean and spacious with exceptional views from the balconies. It was fascinating to watch the hot air balloons take off below us every morning. We spent many hours throughout the day and late into the evenings outside relaxing and enjoying the views and tranquility. It is ideally situated for touring by car ( and train) and we loved walking in and around the village. The railway station and and cable car are only 15 minutes walk away. The facilities at the appartment ( pool, gym etc) were lovely and the underground parking was a bonus with security and keeping the car cool in the hot weather!!! The arrangements with the managers were 100% and they were both very helpful and friendly. We found several reasonable restaurants in and around the village. We would certainly recommend the appartment and the area . Hopefully we will make a return visit soon as there are so many places that we never got round to visiting!

A week in Chateau D'Oex

We were most impressed with this apartment and its very attractive setting. There were stunning views to the mountains from the living room window, especially attractive at sunset. The village offered us a good variety of places to eat and quality food shops when we wished to cook for ourselves. The comfort of their visitors has been high on the owners’ priorities, because the apartment has been fully and thoughtfully equipped. We found the range of tourist leaflets and maps particularly useful. We also much enjoyed the facilities offered within the apartment complex, particularly the heated swimming pool, the gym and petanque court. The numerous and well-signed hiking trails in the area provided us with opportunity to walk in superbly attractive alpine scenery.
