Lovely weekend in Falmouth

Our group of 8 (family) had a great weekend in Falmouth. The location of the house was perfect, close enough to walk to Main Street and all of the restaurants and shops there. It was also a short walk to the beach which we really.enjoyed. We used the bikes and kayaks provided several times. The house was charming and comfortable. We had a great stay!

July vacation

This is our second summer at this property. The close proximity to the beaches, bike path and the vineyard makes this an ideal location. This year we purchased a beach pass and discovered Wood End where you can go on long walks at low tide. This is now my favorite Falmouth beach. The house is clean, comfortable with access to bikes, kayaks and yard games. The host is responsive, I highly recommend at stay at this property.

Fabulous birthday celebration!

I was turning 60 and after years of visiting my parents in Hyannis for our birthdays (they both passed before the pandemic) I wanted to be on the cape again. The house is truly special. The grounds are maintained well, but still have a cottage feel. We really enjoyed the patio and Adirondacks in the sun. The beach is minutes away; it’s a nice 30 minute walk to restaurants and shops. On a cloudy day we went to Nobska light and (2) gardens, Spohr and Hatfield Hall and gardens. We also visited The Knob. We were 5 adults over 60 (my sisters and their spouses) and all the walks were easy. I had the big bedroom that overlooked Salt Pond and it was spectacular and the bed was really comfortable! The other bedroom upstairs with (2) double beds was ok for adults- probably better for kids or singles. The bedroom on the first floor was lovely. I especially loved the outdoor shower- even in the rain! The kitchen was well appointed. We ate most meals at the picnic table on the patio watching the Osprey circle above. It really was quite magical. I would definitely return! The host was very communicative, as well I give it all stars!

Beautiful property in a great part of town. Close to beach, Salt Pond, downtown Falmouth and the Shining Sea bike trail, as well as the Island Queen and Steamship Authority ferries. We love the house, yard, and quiet and friendly neighborhood.

Wonderful stay!

We have never stayed in Falmouth as typically stay in the outer cape. It was a great experience where we could swim as there were no shark warmings! We arrived to a very clean house, with a fabulous patio and yard, a short walk to the beach. Woods hole is a short, easy bike ride away via the bike trail. There were four bikes for use so just bring your helmets. We used the paddle board and kayaks on salt pond. I walked and found a bird sanctuary just off mill road. We Walked into town; all in all, our family of three generations enjoyed our stay. Thank you Eva and family! We hope to be back.

Great Spot

We rented this property because it was on the marathon route, but we got so much more. We were on the marathon route, close to the beach, and close to all the dining and shops on Main Street. The house was great. Accommodations were spacious and the house had almost everything we needed already stocked. The backyard had so much space and was a great spot to relax. There was a ton of board games for our daughter. I think we played at least 6 different games and there were many more. Too many to count. There was also a large collection of books. My wife is a Social Studies teacher, and she found so much interesting information in the various books. I had a few questions for the property manager and got quick responses plus there was a welcome folder with tons of information to help with dining, things to do, etc. There was biking, hiking, and kayaking equipment available, but because of our marathon schedule and some rain, we were unable to do these activities. I definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Enjoyed Sunsets from Backyard!

Cute Cape house across from Salt pond with great sunsets! Having water view is relaxing. Short/easy walk to beach. Enjoyed biking to Woods Hole. House worked great for us, 6 adults - 3 couples all family. Missing the French Bakery on Main Street already!..(hint they open at 0700 - don't be late). Thanks!

Perfect House for Family Vacation

We loved staying at this house, it was our perfect home away from home. We stayed here with our adult children and everyone enjoyed the great location as we were able to walk and bike to beaches, shops, restaurants, and the ferry to MV. The Salt Pond access is right across the street so using the kayak and SUP was very easy. The house is clean, comfortable, well maintained, and attractively decorated. Some of my favorite family memories were sitting outside under the party lights, playing corn hole and croquet in the yard, and board games in the large family room. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors that we met were very nice. The host is great.

Happy Family Memories

What a convenient house! Great location, close to town and the beach (especially with a baby!) and an easily accessible pond across the street. The house itself, with plenty of private yard space, had a huge selection of books and games for both children and adults; the kitchen is well equipped; a convenient bedroom on the first floor is definitely a plus. Bonus: pet friendly. Being able to bring the dogs was an added benefit. Additionally, the host is attentive and responsive.
