Das Maluhia Hanalei ist ein wunderschönes Haus im hawaiianischen Stil, nur einen Häuserblock vom herrlichen, 3,2 km langen, sichelförmigen Strand in der weltberühmten Hanalei Bay entfernt.

Die Einrichtung, Ausstattung und Lage machen es zu einem wundervollen Ferienhaus, von dem aus Sie die Wunder von Kauais Nordküste genießen können.

Zwei Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt befindet sich die prächtige Hanalei-Bucht und der berühmte weiße Sandstrand. Nach einem kurzen Spaziergang erreichen Sie die malerische, historische Innenstadt von Hanalei mit ihren zahlreichen Restaurants, Geschäften und Galerien. Innerhalb von zehn Autominuten finden Sie zahlreiche schöne Strände und eine Vielzahl von Aktivitäten, die Sie auf Trab halten.

Das Haus befindet sich am Ende einer Sackgasse, abseits der Straße und entlang einer langen Auffahrt in einem wunderbar angelegten Viertel, das an ein Naturschutzgebiet angrenzt. Die Umgebung ist üppig, grün, privat, ruhig, sehr abgelegen und doch nur einen Block vom Strand und fünf Gehminuten von der Stadt entfernt. Ein idealer Ort.

Das Maluhia Hanalei ist ein Einfamilienhaus, das Platz für bis zu 10 Gäste bietet. Gruppen von bis zu 6 Personen können den geräumigen Hauptteil des Hauses mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern im Obergeschoss separat mieten. Informationen zu den Tarifen finden Sie in den Hinweisen unter der Tabelle auf der Tarifseite. Es gibt auch ein schönes Apartment auf Gartenebene mit zwei weiteren Schlafzimmern, einem Wohnzimmer, einer voll ausgestatteten Küche und einem Vollbad für bis zu 4 zusätzliche Gäste. Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet. Größere Gruppen werden feststellen, dass sich das ganze Haus zu einem idealen Ferienhaus für bis zu 10 Personen zusammenfügt. Die einzelnen Suiten geben den kleineren Gruppen innerhalb der großen ihren eigenen Raum und im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein sehr offener, geräumiger Grundriss mit viel Platz für alle, die sich zum Essen und Besuchen treffen möchten.

Die Gäste werden die wunderbare Außendusche, die unzähligen Vögel in den Bäumen, die wundervollen Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge, das üppige Laub und die Blumen überall und die herrliche tropische Aussicht von den weitläufigen Lanais und Terrassen genießen.

Great Hawaiian Property

Our stay was awesome. Marney is a great host. We had no issues and really enjoyed the seclusion of the property surrounded with beautiful tropical plants and trees. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to eat just like at home. On our next trip to Kauai we will stay in this beautiful and comfortable home.

Peaceful Perfection

Our stay and accommodations for the nine of us was absolutely perfect. Marney was very quick in responding to emails and Jason could not have been more accommodating on site. Both suites had everything we needed from several basic cooking supplies to wagons for hauling beach equipment to the short walk to the bay. Also within short walking distance is downtown Hanalei. Property is well maintained and beautiful! I highly recommend this property and would stay again in a heart beat.

Fantastic house for extended family Christmas

Just stayed for a week over Christmas with my family of four, my brother's family of three, and my parents. The house was absolutely wonderful. The set up was perfect for us: 3 bedrooms in the main upstairs section with large open kitchen/dining room/living room. Then my brother and his wife and daughter stayed in the two bedroom apartment downstairs (with it's own kitchen/living area). And my parents stayed in the one bedroom apartment. Everyone had their own space but could come together upstairs--either inside or on the lanai. And as is described on the website, the house feels truly private because of all the lush vegetation around it. The kitchen is great and has everything we needed--and we did a fair amount of cooking there. The house really has everything, included two washer/dryers. There are boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and wagons to cart everything to the beach, which is a very short walk down a quiet street. And it is a lovely, quiet neighborhood (other than the roosters--welcome to Kauai :) ) Hanalei is a lovely town with a great beach. Surf not too heavy for little kids, but people are also out taking surfing lessons. The little downtown area is also walking distance through the neighborhood (a little too far for my 82 year mother to walk, but easy for the rest of us). We'd walk to get coffee and pastries in the morning. What else to say about the house? It does rain at times on Kauai and the house was a wonderful place to hang out and play games on the lanai with some tropical rain coming down. Plenty of room for us all to hang out in the evening and talk or watch a movie. Wifi works great. We didn't have any problems with the house other than a moment when I couldn't figure out how to put the keys back in the lock box, so I called Ken, the maintenance guy, who answered immediately and helped me out. Marney was lovely in our email exchanges. The check-in and out was easy as could be. The whole experience was really great.

Joint Family Vacation In Paradise

This property was exactly what we needed and it was perfect. We were two families of four with kids aged 5 to 20 months. We were walking distance to the village center, the farmers market and Hanalei bay was pretty much right across the street. About a 3 min walk. All the kids walked easily to the village center for shopping and dinner. We spent many afternoons in the beach and just enjoying paradise. The home was perfect for us to come together and enjoy relaxing meals together. The kitchen was well stocked and really the house was in general perfectly well stocked. All the beach things you could need; umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, beach toys. The house had board games, books ect. They had a pack and play for my 20 month old and a high chair. This is the only house we will rent. It’s just perfect.

Our family rented the entire property for a week in September and enjoyed it although it was very hot at that time of year. Great house, great location, great town

We rented both the upper and lower suites for our group of 8 and we all loved it. The home was very comfy and well equipped, and we especially loved being 2 blocks from the beach on Hanalei bay. Best Stay in Hanalei

I rented the property for my family group of 11people. My high expectations for our stay were met and exceeded. The photos in the listing are wonderful but they do not do justice to this beautiful and comfortable home. The location was ideal for beach visits and town activities. There were loads of beach items conveniently located and both apartments were well stocked with kitchen items, linens and towels. The grounds were gorgeous -positive proof that we truly were in Paradise. Communication with Marnie was easy and thoughtful. She texted me on our arrival day to alert us to a traffic issue. Luckily we were not affected by it. I cannot give a more wonderful recommendation to the Hanalei Palms. Consider yourself very lucky if you arrange a visit to this charming property.

We were delighted to stay in both units in this beautiful home. It’s about 100 yard walk to the beach. The house is at the end of a short lane which is at the end of a cul de sac. Like set in a beautiful lush jungle. The place was immaculate when we arrived. It was completely well equipped for our family of 8. The caretakers Jason and More were unobtrusive in their unit but always available for any questions. We’ll equipped kitchen. Well equipped beach gear. Well equipped games and video. All channel tv to watch NBA playoffs. Super fast wifi. If you want to be near the warm gentle waters of Hanalei Bay and stay in a five star large home, grab this place before someone else does.

Every bit as nice as described

The comment from our adult kids was simple: "when can we go back?" The house is better than I expected and I expected a lot. The neighborhood is wonderful and beautiful. Two blocks to Hanalei Bay and five blocks from downtown Hanalei. We walked everywhere, even during the rain. The beds were all comfortable, the furniture as nice as my own home. An avocado tree is in the back yard as well as limes. We will stay here again, hopefully next winter. Loved it very much.

Property, Owner and Manager are Wonderful

Great beach house in easy spot by the beach and close to town. Marney and Beaux scrambled and worked so hard to help us in a housing emergency. This house can be divided into two units, so contact the owner first because VRBO/Home Away can't accurately tell if the whole house is available or just half.

We had a 3 generation family reunion, ranging from 1 year to 74 years old, and the house was perfect

The house is beautiful, and well furnished. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, there are amble towels, comfortable furniture. Everything worked flawlessly. The house is well stocked with toys for kids, toys for adults (boogie boards, puzzles, etc). There are ample fans throughout the house. Walking, it is only 2 short blocks from the beach, and 3 or so blocks from Hanalei village. Very relaxing!

Well stocked and comfy beds!

We rented the upper and lower units for a family vacation with kids and grandparents. Grandparents took lower unit and we took the upper unit with our 4 kids. The house was perfect in the location, comfort and had everything we needed like pack n play and high chair and all the beach supplies. It's a short walk to the beach. The wrap around porch was lovely.

Perfect quiet neighborhood home

This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for tranquility and homey-ness from your vacation. The beds are comfortable and soft, the bathrooms immaculately clean, and the kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cookware for any meal. We especially appreciated the view from the wrap-around deck on the second floor, which overlooks the small stream running behind the house. Be aware that the house has no air conditioning, but our family found the temperature & humidity very pleasant. The owner's advice for local restaurants, markets and activities made our stay very enjoyable. We can highly recommend staying here!

Fabulous family vacation!!

This was our big family trip we have been talking about & saving for the last couple of years. We spent 7 nights on Kauai. We were a group of 13 (10 adults ages 21 to 50 & 3 grands ages 4 months, 2 & 3-1/2) & we wanted a house close to the beach & big enough for sleeping arrangements & spending quality time together. This house was perfect for that. It truly is a 3 minute walk to the beach - a beautiful, sandy beach that was fun for all ages - & a 5 minute walk to the town of Hanalei. We rented the 3 bedroom main part of the house, “Hibiscus” (2nd floor) & the 2 bedroom apartment on the main level, “Plumeria”. The house & apartment were as described, clean, & well stocked with everything you could need. When at the house we spent most of our time in Hibiscus. There was plenty of room for us all in the open floor plan of the living/kitchen/dining area of the house. The wrap around deck gave us even more space. There were toys & books for the kids as well as books, games, & movies for everyone else. There were plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, some beach toys, & beach umbrellas as well as 2 wagons to get everything to & from the beach, with a little space for a kid or 2. The house is surrounded by tropical plants & sounds, with a small yard in the back. The driveway had plenty of room for the 3 cars we rented. When at the house it does not feel like you are in a neighborhood cul-d-sac, but in the tropics. The setting around the house reminded me of when we visited Costa Rica. The master bedroom did seem to stay a little cooler than the rest of the house, which my husband & I appreciated. The deck off the master was wonderful to sit on as well. I do recommend good earplugs for sleeping as there are chickens & roosters in the area, well actually all over the island. With windows open they can wake you up earlier than you may want to be. Marney was very helpful & great with communication. We had a red eye flight home & she allowed us to us Plumeria for that day. It was so appreciated! Beaux was very helpful as well. Would definitely rent this house again for a group & highly recommend it.

Great Vavation

It was a beautiful home and fully stocked. Just bring your own food and enjoy. Close to everything in Hanalei.

Clean, beautiful home in an incredible setting

The upstairs Hibiscus was the ideal place for our family for two weeks—three adult couples and a five year old child. There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out. There were books, toys, games and puzzles for our granddaughter. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could possibly need, from condiments and staples to a blender and a lime squeezer! We used the supplied fold up wagon to haul the chairs, towels and umbrellas (and sometimes our granddaughter) for the short walk to the beautiful beach. The setting is absolutely perfect in this quiet neighborhood and lush setting. We had planned this trip for a long time and were not disappointed with this wonderful house. Marney was extremely helpful with answering all our questions. She even arranged for Beaux to bring a crockpot when we inquired about one. We will be back!

Hanalei and the north shore of Kauai will never change, never be developed, never have hotels, condos, or very much tourist infrastructure. This most beautiful spot is protected and secure in it's beauty and appeal. What better spot to have a home to come to and to share with others.

My home is not only beautiful, charming, comfortable and inviting, but also very private and secluded, surrounded by beautiful gardens, and adjacent to a tropical hardwood forest. The foliage, the flowers, the birds, the sunrise, the relaxation of this wonderful environment, combined with the beach at Hanalei Bay and Hanalei town both being a very short walk from the house make it the ideal spot for the ultimate getaway.
