Eine luftige Villa am Klippenrand mit Blick auf den Atlantik. Haus im Sommer 2013 neu gebaut und komplett mit neuen Geräten und Komfort ausgestattet. Ruhige und sichere Wohngegend. Dramatische Klippenblicke und malerische Abendspaziergänge.

Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer mit Bad, alle mit Terrassen zum Meer. Perfekt für 3 Paare oder eine größere Familie. Der morgendliche Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer begrüßt Sie vom Balkon und kann mit einem frühen Bad im Pool vor dem Kaffee genossen werden. Die schattige 2-stöckige Terrasse mit Blick auf den Pool und das Meer, das nur 50 Meter entfernt liegt, schützt die Sonne am frühen Nachmittag.

Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei identische, geräumige Master-Suiten mit eigenem Bad, die sich alle zur oberen Terrasse mit Blick auf den Ozean öffnen. Die modern ausgestattete Küche und die Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Granitinsel eignen sich hervorragend für Gespräche und ein entspanntes Abendessen auf der gefliesten Terrasse.

Der Küstenausflug ist komplett ausgestattet und verfügt über Kabel-HD-TV, ein lokales Telefon und eine stabile WLAN-Internetverbindung. Das traditionelle Barbados-Lamellenhausdesign ohne verglaste Fenster sorgt für eine konstant fließende Meeresbrise und eine kühle, luftige Atmosphäre. Nachts und in ruhigen Momenten des Tages können Sie den Ozean hören, der gegen die Felsen unten schwankt.

Der makellos gepflegte 200 Quadratmeter große Pool liegt gegenüber der Klippe und bietet Sitzgelegenheiten zum Meditieren am tiefblauen und türkisfarbenen Horizont. Ein Gasgrill ermöglicht das schnelle Grillen von frischem Fisch vom Oistens-Markt. Weniger als 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, ist die sichere Wohngegend abends ruhig und lädt zu entspannten Spaziergängen entlang der Böschungen und Gassen ein.

Zwei wunderschöne weiße Sandstrände, darunter das weltberühmte Crane Resort, befinden sich 10 Autominuten nördlich des Hauses und ruhigere karibische Strände erreichen Sie in 15 bis 30 Minuten südlich der Küste nach Bridgetown. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft und eine Bäckerei sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Haus entfernt. Dank der schnellen Anbindung an die Hauptautobahn der Insel gelangen Sie schnell in die touristischen Gebiete.

Beautiful property on a beautiful island

We had a very good time at the lilac Villa. The view from the bedrooms is fantastic and there were almost no mosquitos in the property. The Villa has stable WiFi, which is fast enough for streaming services (we brought our fire tv stick). David was very kind and met us right at the airport, so we could follow him to the property. On the day of our departure we were allowed to check out late, which was very nice, because our flight took off in the afternoon. The Island has a good Highway so you can easily reach the southern and western beaches by car. Therefor the location of the Villa is good to explore the Island. The showers and the warm water were always reliable, just as the kitchen equipment and everything else in the Villa.

Amazing view

This is amazing house located right by Atlantic Ocean with amazing views from all rooms. Though house does not have AC you don’t really need it as Atlantic breeze makes the atmosphere very comfortable. Though Some of equipment (washer, fans) are quite old and rusted the view and location is great trade off for those cons. We did see atleast 4 centipede during our stay in house but I think that does come with location the house is at. Over all amazing stay and great unforgettable views.

Beautiful view every morning

This property overlooks the ocean and every bedroom faces the ocean as well. The kitchen and living room areas have doors that open to a pool and a view of the ocean. The cool breeze from the ocean was welcoming at night. There is no air conditioner. The property is dated and needs some fixing up. It will be sold soon, so hopefully the new owners will spruce up the place. David, the property manager was very helpful with getting us settled in and providing tips to get around Barbados. There is a bakery and busy grocery store nearby that is about 5 min away by car. Overall a nice property with amazing views.

The greatest view on Barbados

The house with great view over the Ocean was more than comfortable for our group of 5. Upper bedrooms have magical view also, from your bed! We rented a car and explored the island. The location was great. In very quiet area, surrounded with villas, and the breeze was just perfect. If you want a good rest, a relaxing view, a lot of space and lovely terasse in two levels, this is the best choice for you. The grocery market is 5 min drive away, for swiming an party you need a car. We warmly recomend the house. Last, but not least, the owners and their local representative David are very kind and helpful. Pick up at the airport and late check out were welcome presents for us. Thank you all!

A little worn around the edges.

Hi Your property has a beautiful view out across the ocean. Thank you for letting us stay. Wow, I totally appreciate the impact that the salt air has on the infrastructure. A couple of things worth considering: There is not a sharp knife in the place for chopping vegetables and fruit. David brought a new toaster after we mentioned it, thanks. The other one was dysfunctional. Worth setting up a monthly plan for the shower head descaling. Of 4 showers only 2 actually worked and they needed cleaning. The outside shower we were told had never worked. We took off the head and found that it did work and so cleaned a shower head and had it working. The other shower we were told just had to have the head cleaned. The fact was that it did not work at all. Might be worthwhile having the cleaners do a little check before they leave to make sure everything actually works. Although we found it fun to see where all the different planes were heading it is not quiet for a stretch of the afternoon and late evening. I can appreciate why you dont want to mention it.

Overall a lovely stay

The neighborhood is nice, quiet. It’s my favorite area to stay in Barbados. The view from both verandas is absolutely gorgeous. They layout of the house is well done, and airflow is great. Sunrise and moonrise are a sight to behold. The only true drawbacks are minor: most of the pots and frying pans need replacing (peeling/scratched/old). We were able to use 1 out of the 3 frying pans for breakfast, because the other 2 Teflon pans were so scratched up that they wouldn’t have been safe to use. Again, minor because everything else about the house and experience made for an enjoyable vacation.

Great holiday home

Communication from the minute we booked was superb. David the house manager met us at the airport and took us to the home, showed us how everything worked and even took us to do a couple of food shops throughout our stay. Beds were comfortable, villa was lovely and spacious and the pool was great. Views over the ocean will be something that I’ll never forget! Highly recommended

We stayed at this property for a couple of days. Phillip sent Angela to meet us at the airport and to help us find a grocery store. During the whole experience and even before traveling, Phillip was very helpful as he called us many times to check if we need anything. I give it a 5/5 for the hospitality and the amazing view. Very relaxing and quiet spot. I highly recommend this property! Even the neighbors are super friendly. But I really recommend you to get a car to easily travel around.

Beautiful setting on the Atlantic

We stayed for a week early December. Still quite windy that time of year and the house definitely showed signs of salt damage. We had a few issues with appliances but owner was very attentive to our needs. Getting used to the sounds of the waves and frogs was a bit of a challenge. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper! We were also kept awake by barking neighbourhood dogs. The constant breeze, lovely garden, pool and balcony and what felt like a safe neighbourhood were so appreciated.

Un paradis sur terre

Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire à la Barbade malgré la période compliquée du Covid 19 et la quarantaine plus longue que prévue. Mais heureusement, David nous a beaucoup aidé dans toutes les démarches administratives pour réaliser nos tests de départ. Il a été vraiment à notre écoute et il a fait vraiment tout ce qu’il pouvait pour résoudre nos problèmes de communication car nous ne parlons pas très bien anglais. La maison en elle-même est simplement magnifique. Un petit paradis sur terre. Quel bonheur de se réveiller le matin et d’admirer le bleu de l’océan et du ciel sous une température toujours agréable et égale. L’ile est de toute beauté, la côte Est est très sauvage, la côte Ouest est beaucoup plus touristique mais tout aussi jolie. Les plages sont magnifiques et les habitants sont d’une gentillesse incroyable. Nous recommandons à cent pour cent cette location . Steven, le propriétaire, a toujours répondu très rapidement à nos demandes, et a été très arrangeant à tous points de vue. Un grand merci à tout le monde et peut-être à une prochaine fois. A quiet escape

This property is one quiet neighborhood and has ocean views that are amazing! You will need a car if you want to see the island. The airport is very close and planes fly over often. I would bring an eye mask for sleeping because the sun will wake you at 5am. But its quiet at night so we went to bed at 930 and woke early. The pool is so refreshing and right off your deck. There is sun and shade for all to enjoy. Bring your sun screen the sun here is hot! The wifi doesn't reach the upstairs most night but this forced you to rest which we all need to do. Kitchen is well stocked.

Pleasant stay

Un petit coin de tranquillité

un petit vent permanent bien agréable Une vue sur l’ocean plein Est, le petit déjeuner en regardant le soleil se lever et la température prendre 4 à 5 degrés en quelques minutes, quel bonheur ! La voiture est indispensable. La personne qui vous accueillera ..., est une personne extraordinairement gentille et disponible. Un séjour merveilleux, une population extrêmment accueillante, une nature préservée et la rencontre de merveilleuses personnes. Très proche de l’aeroport, des axes routiers permettant de vous rendre partout sur L’îsle, de certains commerces. Il vous faudra prendre votre voiture pour vous rendre sur les lieux festifs plutôt localisés dans le sud de l’isle. Bref un voyage qui nous laissera que de bons souvenirs, avec des images plein là têtes et une seule envie, y retourner !

Home is a gem, location perfect for relaxing

Located on the East side of the island, this home is a true gem which offered plenty of opportunity let go of the daily worries in life. The location is amazing!! The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The home is a perfect layout, the upper deck the breeze and view are priceless. As stated in the details provided by the owners, all the comforts of home were there, not fine china, but everything you’ll need is provided. There was nothing we longed for other than a Starbucks coffee shop. The owner’s caretaker David was great as he met us at the airport and escorted us to the house, then on over to the grocery store. If you wish to leave the property, a car is definitely advised, and while learning the map can be overwhelming the first day, the next day is a snap. We traveled all over the island from North to South, East to West and had no troubles finding our way. A good old fashioned detailed map did the trick, paired with patience in knowing we had no agenda nor expectations. Every other day we visited a different beach or took a catamaran cruise during our visit. Tiami and El Tigre Catamaran cruises were awesome, worth the money, and the highlight of my family's trip. On the other days, we traveled all over the island, driving through different villages seeing and meeting the people of Barbados, which was awesome! My other favorite activity was St. Nicholas Abbey Sugar Plantation/rum distillery. I would suggest peeking at scheduled daily events before going as they offer some neat viewings. On the East side we loved visiting The Crane Resort for coffee and swimming. Bottom Bay is worth the viewing and my favorite beach scenery thus far, and the Atlantis Restaurant near Bathsheba offered a delicious lunch paired with an incredible view. On the West side, The Fish Pot near Holetown was a must do as the old authentic plantation style structure was neat in itself, but the view and the food were certainly memorable. We visited many different sea side bars in and around the Carlisle Bay in the Southwestern area offering pub fare, delicious drinks and a view sure to melt your heart. The ride along the water beyond Bridgetown gets better and better as you head North exposing unspoiled little beaches begging for a photo. In the North, we visited the Animal Flower cave and if you’re afraid of depths, not to worry, it is worth the visit and a notch in your pride belt. Sorry, I've run out of space in review. Home is GREAT!!

My family of six just completed our eight night stay at Peace of Sea. The property is exactly as described, and very comfortable for all of us. The rooms are spacious and there was plenty of storage space. The bathrooms are excellent. Obviously, the main reason to choose Peace of Sea is the view. Here this property truly shines! Incredible views. The sea breezes are amazing. No bugs!! We all loved sleeping with the sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs to compliment the ocean breeze. The kitchen was fine and we ate several meals at the house. We used the BBQ twice. The kids loved the pool. My wife and I loved the upper deck. Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Other reviews have mentioned the airport traffic. It never bothered us. For one thing, the flights are infrequent enough to make the occasional airplane appearance more of an interest than an annoyance. David the property manager was excellent! Very helpful. He even delivered our luggage to the airport on the day of departure. The neighborhood was nice and quite. Everyone I met could not have been more friendly. I would definitely rent a car for this location, but my family and I easily toured the entire island. I would recommend Peace of Sea to anyone looking to rent a home on Barbados.

Peace of Sea getaway

We just returned from a 12-day stay at Peace of Sea, a large villa overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Barbados. First of all, everything in the house looks exactly like the photos; the views are breathtaking, the space is very open and airy and the bedrooms were more than big enough. During the day, the sense of calm and serenity felt is therapeutic. The neighborhood is a typical middle class Bajan one, so most folks were at work all day and it is super peaceful. It is removed from the typical touristy spots (20 minute drive to the south coast beaches), and you definitely need a car if you stay here, but it was nice to feel "away from it all" upon returning to the house after hours of surfing or beach-going! The wind blows non-stop and you can hear the waves crashing against the rocks. It is true that the house is directly in the flight path of departing planes, and they can be quite loud. Most of them leave in the evening, and one or two as late as 10pm or so. There was also a flight that left at 7am! But along with those sounds, nightfall also brings the sounds of the frogs and crickets, which usually drown anything else out and are a nice background to fall asleep to. The property manager, David, was invaluable to us during our stay. We had some maintenance issues with the house and he was always there, responding immediately and effectively. He even went out on December 31 and bought a new dishwasher when he saw that the one in the house wasn't working. He also picked us up at the airport upon our arrival, came over every few days to vacuum the pool and provided restaurant recommendations. Awesome service and customer care! The Crane Beach is a short 10-minute drive, with incredible waves! It is one of the nicest beaches in the world, and you can boogieboard in the surf for hours. The Crane complex boasts several restaurants as well, so there are some options for dining out that are not too far away. If I had any recommendation to offer the owner, it might be to consider air-conditioning for humidity control...at least in the bedrooms. While it is not hot in the house (the breeze seriously cools everything right down, along with the ceiling fans, and we did not see or feel a single mosquito), the humidity and salt air coming in through the open windows makes everything damp. The bed sheets would be damp overnight. Having the ability to close everything up and "dry it out" from time to time would possibly better protect their investment.

On one of our morning walks on a visit to the island in January of 2010 we came upon a surveyor working the cliff edge and asked what he was doing. He told us someone might be interested in buying the land. The next 26 hours included contacting the realtor, making an offer, finding a lawyer to meet us on a Saturday and signing the paperwork for the land as we left for the airport.

Our dream has come to life in this wonderful home by the sea. We hope that you find the peace and relaxation during your stay that we do.
