This beautiful, newly remodeled home is located in a family neighborhood of east San Diego, and can comfortably accommodate 7 guests.
The home features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, with a large dining room area, and 2 large living rooms.
The home boasts vaulted beamed ceilings, new designer furnishings throughout, a stocked kitchen, and large backyard with pool (not heated) and BBQ for entertaining!
The property is located within 20-30 minutes drive from most San Diego tourist attractions and beaches. There are local restaurants and supermarkets within 5 minutes drive from the house.
There are two granny flats with long term tenants on the sides of the house with their own entrances. They do not have access to the main house or the backyard and the pool, which is exclusively yours to enjoy.

Beautiful home

Overall we were happy with the home. It was beautiful but not clean. The main parts of the home like bathrooms & bed were clean but our feet were black from walking on the floors, dried food on the silverware and ceiling fans coated in dust. The pool area was also unkept. The neighbor tenants woke us up the first night and the last night of our stay. This was hard on us because we traveled with our young kids and really needed the rest on these nights specifically. It is partially air conditioned so the kids room were unbearable during their naps during the heat wave days. And the main TV room is too hot yo relax in. The host was kind and responsive but I wouldn’t choose this home again if we were to return. I wasn’t going to leave a review reflecting our thoughts but after being woken up several times to slamming doors last night I thought I should let others know our experience. Years ago when I was going & single this would have been ideal but not when traveling with young kids.

Wonderful house with awesome pool

This house was a lot of fun to stay at with our two kiddos, aged 5 and 7. We had a lot of fun in the pool and the house itself was beautiful and a little quirky. Everything was mostly well stocked - could have used more towels and there were no washcloths. The pool was warm and clean and we hung out there a lot. Cons: the house has maybe never been mopped? We all were walking around with dirty feet even just after a shower and walking to the bed. It was pretty gross. I even looked for a mop or swiffer to do it myself but there wasn't anything in the house. I ended up wearing my flipflops to even use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The carpeted stairs definitely also need a good vacuum since we were picking up a lot of dirt there too. Another con was that I got eaten alive when we were sitting at the outside table by the pool. Not sure if they can spray for something but I ended up with at least 3 bites a day when we sat there. Overall it was a great stay. Not too far out of the way and a quick drive to the beach and activities. We had a great time!

Perfect spot

Beautiful house with pool and beautiful views! Stay here and you won’t be sorry, host is friendly and is quick to answer any questions. Sated here twice already and planning our next trip, this is the only place we will stay!

Don’t let the location deter you!

While the location didn’t look super appealing, the house itself is perfect for a family. It’s clean, inviting, and has what you need to relax after a long day of San Diego activities. The pool was clean and felt amazing after a long drive. The view from the back patio, especially at night, is beautiful. It was quiet for the most part; our kids could hear the neighbors through the wall, but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Grocery stores and fast food restaurants are within a short distance, and food delivery drivers had no trouble finding the house. The pictures in the listing are 100% accurate, and we really enjoyed the decor and vibe. We would stay here again if we come back to San Diego.

Amazing vacation!

We rented the house for three weeks. We were seven people in total and had plenty of space. the pool was amazing and we spent a lot of time here. The accommodation is close to several excursion destinations and we visited e.g. Sea World, Midway, Seaport Village, Wineyards, outlet and San Diego Zoo. Universal took almost 3 hours to drive to but it was worth it. A wonderful and unforgettable vacation for me, my husband children and grandchildren.

Great stay overall

The house and pool are very nice. We needed towels, and they were very good with communication and brought them to us the next day. We wanted to be close to Sea World, so the location was good, but the area isn't great. The house is pretty secluded, so that wasn't an issue. The ac works great in some areas, but the tv room and upstairs are pretty warm. We didn't spend a lot of time inside during the day, so it was ok. The upstairs has 1 vent and fans, so it cooled off pretty good at night. The mattress downstairs was very firm. We didn't love it, but maybe some people do like a firm mattress. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a great time with our family.

Home away from home

Spring break getaway

I came with my family to explore the San Diego area during spring break. The property was very spacious. Enough room for all of us at a decent rate. The property is a little further away from some of the activities we did but thankfully the times we came and went did not interfere with too much traffic. Overall not a bad experience.

Amazing property

Fabulous property - very spacious home for our family of 4 and grandparents. 3 large bedrooms and lots of space for everyone. Pool is amazing - very kind of the host to bring by floaties for the kids to use! Attractions of San Diego in close proximity. Host is very responsive and helpful! We loved our stay a great welcoming space to come home to after a day of touring around the area - would recommend for a family vacation!

Beautiful Home and View

We used this home as a stay for groomsmen in a wedding. The house was so well renovated and nicely decorated that we were able to use it for wedding pictures of all of us and the groom getting ready. Additionally, the main reason I booked this particularly venue is because it was listed as dog-friendly. This is absolutely true. The yard was well secured and my dog had a great time. Also, for reference for other folks, my dog is a 50 pound hound-mix. So the fencing and general environment were secure enough for him. I think the property could easily handle large-size dogs as well. Lastly, Leslie was incredibly responsive and helpful. She made the trip super easy. Overall, a fantastic stay.

Excellent property in outskirts of San Diego

A really wonderful place to stay. We felt so welcomed and at home there. Karina thought of everything and was very easy to get in touch with when needed. Karina also sorted the couple of issues that came up very quickly. Large and spacious home and I would recommend it. Could do with some pegs and some baking sheets! Other than that it was very well equipped with all you could possibly think of and more!

Highly recommended!

We could not be happier with our choice. We were vacationing in Anaheim and wanted an extra week in San Diego. The place was beautiful, the owner was accommodating and the location made it easy to access anything we wanted to see. This was a great experience and as someone who's watched VRBO prices balloon out of control over many years, it was also fairly affordable. Thanks for making the final leg of our vacation a memorable one!

Fun family vacation

Wonderful place for a family!

The home was clean and pictures described it perfectly! The pool was wonderful and had a great view of the mountains especially in the morning during sunrise. The neighborhood wasn’t the greatest but once you’re in the rental it’s like your own private little oasis.

Beautiful, spacious home!

This was a great place to stay. Very clean—just like the pictures. The bedrooms are roomy and the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen and dining areas were stocked with dishes and cookware, spices for cooking and even syrup, which we had forgotten. The grill was clean and supplied with utensils to bbq. The parking was excellent. A great visit!

Spring Break in Lemon Grove

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were many thoughtful amenities throughout the house. We have a large family and had plenty of room to enjoy activities together or have some space when downtime was needed. Watching the sunrise over the mountains from the pool area was incredible! My 3 year old grandson loved the playset in the yard.

Incredible Property

The best part about this place was the views and the gorgeous home and property. We were two families traveling together and were super comfortable. Everything was easy to use and the host was very responsive. This is a newer listing so not as well stocked in the kitchen, but has all the basics. Everything including kitchen is very gorgeously curated. We loved our stay and would book again.
