What an adorable and comfortable home!

This home had everything we needed and was so very comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were updated with modern looks and equipment and the rest still had the charm of a historic bungalow. I should have payed better attention that there were only bathrooms on the main floor, which made it a little difficult for an aging parent. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Beautiful house, great location

House had everything we needed and owners left a book of helpful information about the town, things to do etc. They left their number in case of any issues (but no problems for us). We came to town for our daughters graduation from MU but will come back to see the town!

Family get together

We stayed in this Honey House last year and loved it. This time we stayed in the Sunflower House and loved having the master on the main floor. The kitchen was well equipped and we made many good meals. We also loved walking the Katy Trail and visiting the shops and restaurant.

Excellent Family Home

We were in Rocheport mo. For a wedding. The house was very close to the venue and had a nice fenced in yard for our dog. The house was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Would definitely stay again.

Rocheport is a lovely little town to get away from it all. Nice restaurants and the Katy Trail is wonderful. The Sunflower was what we needed for a weekend getaway

House was perfect. Very clean and felt like a home. Great value

Host was easy to contact and helped make the stay easy and enjoyable. House was located perfect for biking the Katy Trail. House was stocked with kitchen essentials allowing us to cook. Front porch very relaxing and screened so no bugs. Parking in garage was a big plus. Felt very safe in this small town. Very close to major highway. Close to a popular winery and 2 small resturants in town. Overall we didn't want to leave. We will book this house again with a great host.

Mizzou Homecoming

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunflower Bungalow. Just a short drive from Mizzou. Quiet, pretty neighborhood. We will be back and bring our bikes so we can ride the trails. The house was very quant and cozy. Love the decor and all the sunflower touches. The fall foliage was beautiful.

Wonderful weekend in quaint Rocheport

Do not be fooled by the exterior of this charming house. The interior is darling, very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen and bathrooms are all newly remodeled. I am a towel snob, and these towels were thick and fluffy. We were able to park our vehicles in the garage, an added bonus. The home is easy access to shops and the Katy Trail. We would definitely rent again.

We are natives to Columbia, MO and love the little town of Rocheport. We own a mini-farm just on the outskirts of Rocheport so we are a quick 10 minute drive to the house if any needs arise. We spend a lot of time in Rocheport and can provide recommendations if needed at any time! We hope you enjoy the home as much as we do!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

As we walked in to this property in the summer of 2021, we fell in love with its charm, historic qualities & potential. After a six month renovation, including adding a master bath, structural work and lots of cosmetic updates we are happy to open the Sunflower House to guests of Rocheport.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

This early 1900's home has been updated with modern conveniences but kept it's historic charm. Experience a full kitchen with all appliances, coffee maker & dishes. A large open living room seats many guests, has a flat-screen smart TV, access to free wifi, and opens to the dining room which comfortably seats 6. The living room also contains a full-size sleeper sofa.

The master bedroom on the main level has a king size bed with storage in the closet & dresser and also has a flat screen smart TV. It is connected to the brand new master bath with two sinks, walk in shower and bay window seating area. Laundry is also on the main floor. The second bath is just off the kitchen.

The other 3 bedrooms are located upstairs - this is an older home so the stairs are somewhat narrow & steep. Each bedroom has a bed in it. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, bedroom 3 has a double bed and bedroom 4 has a twin bed.

Enjoy the fantastic screened in porch anytime of year. The fenced backyard is accessible from the porch through a storm door (which also has a doggie door)!

Please keep in mind some amenities/rooms may not be handicap accessible due to the narrow doorways and age of the home.
