Scenic Family Retreat

Located in the beautiful Towamensing Trails. Surrounded by a 190 acre lake, you are sure to have a tranquil getaway that is worth your while. Enjoy the perks of our private community with access to our lake/ beach and community center. Our home is nestled in the beautiful Pocono Mountains where you can enjoy the scenic nature around the Trails. We are about bringing families together and having fun doing it.
We are just steps away from the lake and community facilities. There are 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths. The 1st bedroom has a queen bed and is located on the main floor. The other two bedrooms are on the second floor. One with a queen bed and the other with a king bed. With amenities for up to 6 you are sure to have a warm and hospitable stay. Whip up a meal in the fully equipped kitchen then unwind in the hot tub outside. Guests can cozy up near the fireplace and watch a movie on our 58 inch smart tv or play one of the many board games available. Feel free to fire up the grill and soak up the sun on our deck while enjoying the scenic nature wrapped around our property.

* Guests must fill out a rental agreement. Vehicle plates must match the ones on the rental agreement. Security is ENFORCED and failure to comply will result in a heavy fine.

*Please use the hot tub as intended. DO NOT use any soaps/bathbombs in our hot tub or you agree to pay a $300 fee to drain,refill and rebalance.

*Amenities included but not limited to:
Fresh linens and towels for up to 6 guests. We do not provide extra towels for the lake or hot tub

Kitchen is equipped with electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, pots and pans, baking dishes and pans, blender, coffee maker with carafe and single serve option, French press toaster with air fryer option, cake mixer, storage/ mixing bowls, coffee grinder, cooking utensils and silverware

** We have active cameras located on the EXTERIOR of our home for the safety of our guests. Cameras are located in the front of the house, driveway and the rear of the house away from the hot tub.

Dollar General(propane available for purchase), Pine Point Plaza, Bella Mia restaurant, Pocono Pizza and Eatery, Valerio’s restaurant and Shell gas station (propane available for purchase) are all less than 10 minutes away.

Beautiful Retreat

Cozy weekend

Wonderful Experience!

We totally recommend this property! It was peaceful and beautiful! The deer are friendly. The deck was nice and relaxing to lounge on. The hot tub was great. A maintenance person for the hot tub came around during the one day. We received a warning from the host, Stacy, about this happening and she apologized for any inconvenience this could’ve caused (which it didn’t by the way). Stacy is very friendly and responds to messages quickly! The beds were firm and nice. Everything was clean. It took a bit to get the house cooled down when we arrived but we eventually got it comfortable. The bathrooms were nice and updated. It’s a bit of a windy trek to get to the trash disposal area, but that’s not a fault of the owner’s. Just putting that out there. The pool/ beach area was close and nice to hang out at.

Great stay for Pocono skiing getaway

Our family had a great time. The three bedrooms was great for the 4 of us. Stacy was great with communication and accommodating a Covid reschedule in December. Everything you need for a family gathering

Good spot for autumn hiking and birding the Poconos

Nice property, all as advertised. Stacy was very responsive. Wooded neighborhood, very quiet overall, with mostly deer as neighbors. There was constuction going on next door, but there wasn't much noise, and it was not intrusive. Within easy reach of several state parks and less than an hour to Hawk Mountain. Comfortable beds and lots of ceiling fans. Keyless entry made access very easy. Back deck was very inviting.

Weekend getaway

It was the perfect location. The perfect place. Perfect weather. I could not have asked for a better weekend. The house was near all activities that you could want but still secluded. The house had everything we needed plus more. The host was in contact prior to check out multiple times. They supplied a binder of instructions as well as instructions for arriving and leavin! They even had a welcome basket waiting! Highly recommend!

Great house modern and clean

Easy Key pad access open floor plan nice furniture very clean everything you need or forgot. A great deck nice seating hot tub was amazing ! 2 lefts out of the property is the lake paddleboats pool community center .Shoprite is about 20 mins, jim thorpe 25ish minutes bushkill falls about an hour outlets 40 mins but the drive everywhere is so nice feels like it's around the corner.Owner response was very quick any questions I had she answered sad to leave and go back to reality.Thank you!

Beautiful house, convenient location!

My husband and 2 kids (9 and 6) stayed at Stacy’s house for a week in August. It rained quite a bit the week we were there, so we really appreciated how nice the home is inside! The beds are comfy and the kids loved the reclining couches for watching a rainy night movie! The home has a lot of really thoughtful touches like the wide variety of games, the hairdryers in the bathroom, and any type of kitchen utensil you might need. I also noticed there is a child gate in the closet for the steps. When the weather was nice we were able to enjoy the deck and watch the deer wandering through, and we were a quick walk or bike ride to the marina to fish or play basketball. The lake was unfortunately closed for swimming but Hickory Run State Park has a great beach 10 minutes away - we also enjoyed the trails there. The town of Jim Thorpe is 20 minutes away for a nice day trip. My only suggestions would be a grill replacement (a number of the nearby restaurants were closed so we cooked dinner almost every night) and a boot/shoe tray for next to the door. Overall, this is the nicest VRBO home we have rented to date - I am thinking about coming back during ski season! Thank you Stacy for a wonderful stay!!!

Excellent lake house in the Poconos

House was clean, comfortable, modern, and beautifully decorated. Location in Towamensing Trails community was perfect. Unfortunately the lake was closed to swimming by the Dept of Health when we visited, but that was beyond anyone's control. The community pool was close by and we visited often. The quiet streets in the community were perfect for evening walks and bike rides. Communication with Stacy was efficient and everything was perfectly organized. Highly recommend.
